The Message: Lord I want To Know You By Any Means Necessary
The author of this book in no doubt thee Apostle Paul, he wrote his book to all the Christians at Philippi and the believers everywhere. The purpose was to thank the Philippians for the gift that they had sent him and to strengthen them by showing them that true joy comes from Jesus Christ alone.
And see Paul urges the church to have Christian unity and to have Joy. Paul was letting them know that the unity among Christians can be broken because of the Joy that is lacking in the church house. Every time u-turn around somebody is upset because they have lost love ones, or they don’t have any money are they been lied on and talk about and mistreated. But in spite f all those things I still submit to you that you should have joy in spite of your situation. You ought to have joy in Suffering why because the Bible say that the suffering of this ole world cannot be compare to the glory, which shall be, reveal in us. You ought to have Joy in serving in
The house of the Lord. You ought to have Joy in Believing, You are to have Joy I giving your all and all even if you don’t have much why well because the bible declares to Give and it shall be given unto you good measures Press down shaken together and running over shall men Give unto your bosom.

Look at Paul and Silas, Lock up in jail, Backs were bleeding with souls. But in spite of them getting lock up, in spite of them being
Bruised, in spite of them being hurt. They still had a mind to give God praise late in the midnight hour, they took Joy in being lock up for Jesus oh but let in the midnight hour while they were singing praises the jail house begin to rock and the gates of the jail cell flew open. So that let me know that late in the midnight hour God can still work in my Favor.

So I come to serve you notice that you got to learn how to open up your mouth and Bless God in spite of what you’re going through. And once you learn how to offer up a Sacrifice of Praise in spite of your Big Dilemma, in spite of your Big Situation, in spite of your setbacks that’s when God will bless you the More. Threes a saying that says When Praises Go up Blessings come down but I want to change that and say when Praises Grow Up Blessing Come Down. Because some of us only praise when we feel it but I stop by to let you know that your feeling may never come. See I don’t shout because I feel saved I shout because I know I’m Saved, I don’t shout because I feel deliver I shout because I know I’m deliver, I don’t shout because I feel like he’s gonna bring me out I shout because I know that he is gonna bring me out. I don’t shout because I feel Healed I shout because I know I’m Healed.

So no in the book of Philippians Paul had considered everything, which he had accomplished in his life, all of that was worthless when it comes to the knowledge of Knowing Christ. Look here at what Paul was saying he said yes I had a legitimate birth, yes I was circumcised on the eight day an Israelite from the elite tribe of Benjamin a strict
And devout adherent to God’s law, I was a fiery defender of the purity of my religion even to the point of persecuting God’s People But these things that everybody else waves around like its something special, the things I used to take credit for, the things I once thought were so important to me I no longer take credit for it. I count it dung; I count it as rubbish, why because there is a new agenda in my life, which is Christ. Paul said I count it lost compare to the high privilege of just knowing Christ. Yes I gave it up so that I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself.
See Paul was letting them know that its time out for a membership with Christ but now is the time for the saints to start having a relationship with Christ.

See Paul gave up everything just to Follow Christ. And that’s the problem today some of us are not willing to give up our worldly possession to follow Christ and to have a real relationship with Christ

Preachers are Preaching about Christ but they really don’t have a relationship.
Musicians are playing for the Lord but they really don’t have a relationship.
Singers are musically spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ but they really don’t have a relationship.
We get happy and dance around the church but do we really have a relationship.
Pastors are pasturing the sheep but do they don’t really have a relationship. But I made up in my mind that I going to find myself having a relationship with Christ.
I have to close now but I want to celebrate by reminding you that there are some advantages in Knowing Christ. There are some benefits and there are some blessings in just knowing Christ. See when you know him and the in the power of his resurrection, you will find out that Jesus is your light and your salvation.
When you get to know him you will find out that the Lord is the strength of your life of whom shall you be afraid
When you get to know him you will find out that the Lord is your Shepard and you shall not want.
When you get to know him and the power of his resurrection you will also know that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. You will find out that all things work together for the good of them who love the Lord. You will also find out the If God be for you then who can be against you.
When u get to know him you will find out that nay in all these things you are more than conquers through him that love us

When you get to know him you will find out that nothing can separate you from the love of God.
When you know him you will find out that weeping may endure for a night but Joy is going to come in the morning
When you get to know him you know that eyes have not seen and ears have not heard neither has it enter into the hearts of men the things that God has prepare for them that loved him.
When you get to know him you will find out that he’s able to do exceedingly and abundantly And above all that you\can ask or think not only that but he able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding Joy.
When you get to know him in a real way Hell touch with a Finger of Love
When you get to know you will find out that no weapon that’s form against you shall prosper. That’s why Paul said Lord I want to know you in every aspect of way and in everyway.
Shake neighbors hand and say I want to know the Lord in every way”
I just don’t want to know him as a: Heart Fixer, But I want to know him as a Mind Regulator
Doctor in the sick room, but I want to know him as a Lawyer in the court room, and not just the lawyer in the court but I want to know him as the Judge and not only the Judge but I want to know him as the jury too.
As A Banker, But I want to know him as a Keeper
As a Bridge over trouble Water, But even if I’m in the water I want to know him as a lifesaver.

As A Burden Bearer But I want to know him as a Company Keeper
Food when I hungry, But I want to know him as water when I thirsty
As Jehovah Jireh, But I want to know him as Jehovah Nissi
As Jehovah Tsidkenu, But I want to know him as Jehovah Elshaddi
As Jehovah Shalom, But I want to know him as Jehovah Shammah
As Jehovah Rohi, But I want to know him as Jehovah Mekkadism
As being alright, but I wan to know him as being excellent
As a Way maker, But I want to know him as a Wheel in the middle of a wheel.
As a provider but I want o know his as being a Protector

I just don’t want to know him as a God of Grace but I need to know him as a god of Mercy

Now I understand why Paul said I press toward the mark of the prize of the high calling which is in Christ Jesus in other words Paul was say I press to know, I press to get to know him, I press to get in his presence, I press to get in his will, I press to feel his anointing I press to feel his Power I press to feel a touch from the Lord I press to feel his Glory. Place of God. I press beyond my circumstances, Press beyond my Pass. People don’t know what you are going through they don’t know that you are in the press in spite of your situation. There a longing in your spirit that’s saying oh to be like Jesus you find your self like David in the 42 division he said just as the deer panted after the waters, so does my heart panted after thee. And I look up the word panted and the word panted means to feel a strong desire; yearn eagerly with for or to yearn after.
And I just want to know that is there any body in here that is yearning after Christ. Yearning to:
Walk like him Talk like Him Live Like Him Be Like Him Love like Him Heal like Him Preach Like Him. I heard a song that says just to be close to you are my desire, not only that but my desire is to please you. David makes it very plain he said One thing that I have desire of the Lord and That will I seek after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all that days of my life to behold the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple see David knew that there was something about dwelling in the tabernacle that’s why he said I was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the Lord not only that but that’s why David also said Cast me not AWAY FROM THY PRESENCE BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT there was something about being in the presence of a king. It’s an honor and a privilege to be in the presence of a King.
Now only if you know him I dare you to Go into a radical Praise
