Psalm 30
Is you spiritual life like one gigantic roller coaster? One moment things are good; the next, they are terrible.
Psalm 30:1-12
Overconfident
“When I felt secure, I said, “I will never be shaken.” Have you ever felt like you had everything under control? When you become overconfident, you better watch out. Pride goes before the fall.
Overwhelmed
When it rains, it pours. I know God says that He won’t give us more than we can handle through Him; but sometimes it seems like He is getting real close. Life can be overwhelming.
Not only is it overwhelming when difficult times come; but it is also overwhelming when we see God at work in our lives. Notice verses 1-5.
Overjoyed
“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever.”
The joy of the Lord is your strength. Trust in God, focus on His will for your life, and give Him praise.
