2 more reasons to reject the theory of evolution:
1. Moral Reasons
Evolution is immoral, and is responsible for much of the immorality we see around us.
Jesus said, “by their fruits ye shall know them”, speaking of false prophets. Let’s examine the fruits our society has received from this lie we’ve swallowed:
Evolution has produced the fruits of:
a. Racism and Nazism
Another quote from Darwin…and this one you won’t find in a public school textbook:
“At some future period, not very far distant as measured by centuries, the civilized races of man will almost certainly exterminate the savage races of man, and replace them throughout the world. The break between man and his nearest allies will then be wider…Even the caucasian and some apes as low as the babboon, instead of now between the negro, or Australian, and the gorilla.”
Did you catch that? That is not a quote from the leader of the Ku Klux Klan! That’s Darwin! I wonder what our black friends would say about that statement?
Darwin was one of the original definitions of “Racist”. He calls black people a lower life form, who have not yet evolved to the point which caucasians have, he says. He infers that they will someday be exterminated.
We referred to Darwin’s book, Origin of Species, on Sunday. How many of you know that is just an abbreviation? The full title to Darwin’s book is:
“The Origin of the Species, or the preservation of the favored races in the struggle for life.”
Should we be surprised that one of Darwin’s biggest fans was Adolf Hitler?
Listen to it again and imagine you’re Hitler…
The survival of a favored race is only a small step away from the dominion of a favored race! And millions of people have been butchered because of the philosophy of survival of the fittest. Only the best, only the strongest deserve to live.
I want you to know that “red/yellow/black/white…they’re precious in His sight!” “God is no respecter of persons”.
We’ve talked about abortion…how about euthanasia? That’s already taking place in many parts of the world today. It’s just another by-product of the devaluation of life that goes along with evolutionism.
Mussolini believed in evolution…and that nothing sped up the process more among humans than war. Should we be surprised at his involvement in WWII?
I reject evolution for moral reasons, how about you?

When Karl Marx, the father of communism, read Darwin’s works, he said it was a turning point in his life. He felt he had now discovered the scientific foundation for communism.
Marx was so enamored w/ Darwin, he offered to dedicated his book on the tenets of communism to Charles Darwin. Darwin’s wife advised him not to accept the “honor.”
c. Humanism
Secular humanism is based firmly upon evolution.
The humanist assoc., a few years ago, named Karl Sagan as humanist of the year for his 10 part series on evolution.
The first 2 points of the humanist manifesto deal solely w/ evolution…it is the foundation of humanism!
d. Sexual revolution
Evolution played at least a significant part in bringing this about.
Sir Julian Huxley was the grandson of Thomas Huxley, a colleague of Charles Darwin, he was affectionately referred to as “Darwin’s Bulldog.” He was the head of UNESCO, United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization. Huxley was one of the leading evolutionists of his day in the world.
Huxley said of “Origin of Species”, which, by the way, sold out in one day when it was first printed…
“we all jumped at the book because …” why do you think? Scientific facts revealed? Overwhelming evidence? Compelling and Convincing arguments? … “the idea of God interfered w/ our sexual moraise.”
Is this a convenient philosophy or what?
Are these objective scientists, or great con men?\
You see, if man is the direct and special creation of God, then that means God has a right to lay down rules…some people don’t like that!
God has already said that sex outside of marriage is sin homosexuality/lesbianism/bestiality…so, what can we do…we’ll have to kill God! Find something that the masses will believe that doesn’t have God in it!
Evolution obliterates fixed standards of right and wrong…all is relative.
Evolution obliterates all standards of morality.
Evolution has produced racism/nazism/communism/humanism/and a sexual revolution that encourages the morals of barnyard animals.
That’s why to reject evolution! Not just for logical reasons, but for moral reasons! …and number 3, we should reject it for:
Theological Reasons
Evolution is the direct opposite of what the Word of God teaches.
Historian H.G. Wells said, “if all animals and man evolved, then there were no first parents, no paradise, no fall. And if there was no fall, then the entire historic fabric of christianity, the story of the first sin, the reason for the atonement, collapses like a house of cards.”
Rom. 5 talks about the last Adam, Jesus Christ. Why is he the last adam? Because “as in Adam all die, in Christ shall all be made alive.”
Dishonesty and Deceit of many evolutionists
What about Nebraska man?
Scopes/Monkey trial of 1925, they were arguing whether evolution should be taught in the public schools. The highlight of the trial was when the lawyers actually put each other on the stand and went at each other.
Clarence Darrow was the lawyer defending evolution. He was a brilliant man. At one point in the trial when he was looking particularly weak and defenseless in his case, he pulled out a cigar and began smoking it. He had secretely inserted a wire into the cigar previously so that the ashes wouldn’t fall. The jury was so preoccupied w/ the cigar, waiting for the ash to fall, that they didn’t hear a word the opposition said!
He said to the other attorney, Wm. Jennings Bryan, “did you know that a race of ape men lived a million years ago in your home state of Nebraska? Bryan said, “no I didn’t and I don’t believe it either”.
They brought in a leading paleontologist who said, “we have evidence that a race of ape men did in fact live in Nebraska a million years ago.”
Of course, this made the front page of newspapers across the globe. Naturally, the media began requesting, then demanding to see the evidence, and when the evidence was finally revealed…
…it was a tooth…one tooth! And from it they were able to “extrapolate” a jaw, then a skull, and an entire frame! From there they put a club on his shoulder, drew him sitting beside a campfire saying “ugh!”
In the same layer of soil, not far away, not long after, was excavated a 2nd tooth, identical to the first…only this one was attached to a jaw/skull/skeleton of a pig! An extinct pig, to be precise.
So, the scientists made a man out of a pig, and the pig made a monkey out of the scientist! Do I believe in Nebraska man? In a pig’s eye!
How about Pilt Down Man?
In 1912, Arthur Smith Woodward, director of the natural history museum in London and Charles Dawson, physician and amateur paleontologist, discovered a gravel pit in Pilt Down, located in Sussex, England.
They discovered a skull which appeared human and a jawbone which appeared quite ape-like…except for the fact that it did not have the large teeth you would expect from an ape. It was brown looking and appeared to be very old (500k years)…it was hailed as the premier “missing link”.
As usual, w/ imagination and Plaster-of-Paris they constructed a race of ape-men based on this skull and jawbone. For 40 years, millions of students looked at pictures of Pilt Down Man, the ape-man in textbooks and museums. 40 years later, after the invention of the fluoride test, scientists realized that the skull was not 500k yrs. Old, it was rather about 2,000 years old, and that the jaw was only 50 years old.
They then examined the teeth under a microscope and they could very clearly see that the teeth had been filed down by a metal file, carefully made to resemble human teeth. The teeth were brown and old looking because they had been stained w/ iron salts, and then planted to be found…the whole thing turned out to be a fraud, a practical joke, and Reader’s Digest published an article entitled, “The Great Pilt Down Hoax.”

I feel so intellectual when I say “pithicanthripus”
(means ape-man)
Java Man was discovered by Eugene DuBois, a dutchman who traveled from Holland to Java (1/2 way around the world) for the purpose of discovering an ape-man.
(sounds suspicious, doesn’t it?)
He brought back what he said was proof, but wouldn’t show the bones to anyone. Instead, he only would show them a plaster model of the bones. He found a skull and a leg bone.
The skull was obviously ape-like and the leg bone was human.
But, Eugene DuBois failed to tell the world certain things:
1. Leg bone was found 100 yards downstream from skull.
2. At the same site where the ape skull was found was also found 2 other skulls…each obviously human.
Those 2 human skulls DuBois kept under the floor boards of his bedroom for 26 years…because he knew if he admitted he had found human skulls in the same level as his Java Man that his missing link would be totally discredited.
By the way, before he died, he admitted the whole thing, and even concluded that the skull of Java Man was from the remains he found of a large ape.
But, before he admitted it, Java Man was already in the textbooks and museums.
Nebraska man/Pilt Down Man/Java Man…all hoaxes.
It points out just how anxious man is to make a monkey out of himself!
Big Question:
Ordinarily, objective scientists are not easily fooled, deceived.
Why did these examples escape thousands of the best minds in the world?
Because evolution is not a science, it’s a philosophy…a way to explain away God. It dispenses w/ accountability to God.
You are not an animal, you’re not an accident, you didn’t come from slime.
God created you in His image, He loves you, Jesus died for you, and He has a wonderful purpose and plan for your life.
With simple faith in God’s Word, I believe that God created all that is in 6 literal days.
That’s creation.
There’s another creation we can speak of: The New Creation. II Cor. 5:17—“if any man be in Christ…”
