Key #1: Family
1. How do you become a member of God’s family?
Mark 3:31-35
2. What is God’s command for entering Heaven? Rebirth.
John 3:3
3. You are born into the promise given to Abraham; (the Messiah would come from his line). You are sons and daughters of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9-10, 13
Key #2: Family Resemblance
1. Who should a Christian look like and act like? Jesus.
2. There is absolutely no discrimination in God’s Family.
3. We are to be like our brother Jesus so that we can please our Heavenly Father.
Key #3: Family Inheritance
1. As God’s children we receive our full inheritance.
2. We get the same thing as Christ.
3. In fact, we cannot be cut out of our inheritance because we have been adopted.
Conclusion:
1. Are you a member of God’s Family?
2. Does your life look, sound, and act like one who is clothed with Christ?
3. Don’t worry about the things of this world Christians because your reward is in Heaven.
