THE LESSONS
You can respond to a crisis situation with…
1. Frustration “as far as the king’s gate”
The frustrated person says, “What can I do?”
“I am only one,
but still I am one.
I cannot do everything;
But still I can do something;
And because I cannot do everything
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.” – Edward Everett Hale
2. Fear “put to death”
The fearful person says, “If I do anything, I’ll be hurt.
3. Fatalism “if I perish, I perish”
The fatalistic person says, “Whatever I do, I’m doomed.”
4. Faith “we will not serve your gods” (Dan. 3:17-18)
The faithful person says, “God can do anything.”
