We believe that every man in his sound mind wants
to have a well-lived life, but because of lack of
knowledge, understanding and wisdom, many live a
wasted life. Someone has said, “There are three
kinds of people in this world: those who make things
happen, those who watch things happen, and those who
wonder what happened.”
Apostle Paul demonstrated a well-lived life and
his example influenced many lives. How he used his
life revealed his love for our Lord and for lost
souls. Even in times of severe persecutions and
affliction, his deep spirituality was not moved but
led him to a higher level of rejoicing in the Lord.
What a joyful expression when he said with hope and
honesty, “I have fought a good fight, I have
finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of
righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge,
shall give me at that day: And not to me only, but
unto all them also that love his appearing.” His
life was well pleasing to God and worthy to be noted
by Christians of today.
Intense desire to live a well-lived life is a
sign of understanding, but burning desire to live
according to will of God is a true sign of godly
fear and wisdom. Serving God with knowledge,
understanding and wisdom lead us to an abundant
life. An abundant life is a life of service.
The great demand of world evangelization is being
felt today. Many open doors are waiting for
Christians to enter in but the sin of indifference
is a great hindrance that must be cleared. As we
clearly see the needs of hopeless and dying souls,
every Christian must consider what apostle Paul said
in Romans 12:1,2 concerning yielding one’s body to
the Lord as a living sacrifice.
If we really desire to have a well-lived life,
then we must be willing to learn what God wants us
to do for His honor and glory.
How to have a well-lived life:
(I) Surrender Your Life To God
Romans 12:1
No man could yield his life to
God unless he fully understands
the mercies of God.
*Bible verses to ponder:
II Chronicles 20:21 Psalm 136
(II) Don’t Be A Friend Of The World
Romans 12:2
James 4:4
We should not grieve the Holy Spirit for
He guides us to choose what is right and
pleasing to God.
Ephesians 4:30
(III) Be A Significant Part Of God’s Plan
Romans 12:2
The importace of commitment
Commitment energizes our lives to do more
quality works and greater achievements in
life. It also deepens our awareness
regarding our responsibility and
accountability.
