A man of faith is a man of prayer, and a man
of prayer is doubtless a powerful servant of God.
Jehoshaphat was a man of faith and prayer. Through
his faith, God displayed His power in the midst of
Judah and beyond. He also led many people to walk
in the path of righteousness by guiding and showing
them his living example.
In II Chronicles 20:12, it is written, O our
God, wilt thou not judge them? For we have no might
against this great company that cometh against us;
neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon
thee. This verse, a part of Jehoshaphat’s prayer,
conveys a needful lesson to everyone. First, the
object of his faith and prayer: the Living God, the
righteous Judge. Second, his prayer was honest. He
told God about their wretchedness and their
immediate need for physical and spiritual strength.
Third, his humility before God and his willingness
to submit to whatsoever God wants him to do. What a
humble prayer of a man of faith in times of rises.
The last few words, “our eyes are upon thee,”
were the most inspiring part of his prayer. Through
the eyes of faith, Jehoshaphat had seen his Savior
with His loving hands ready to extend help in times
of need.
Through the eyes of faith, we could see
better things, which God has prepared for His
children to enjoy. Through our naked eyes, we could
only see hopelessness, but through the eyes of
faith, we could clearly see God’s showers of
blessings.

Praise ye the LORD; for his mercy
endureth for ever.

Wonderful Works

And when they began to sing and to
praise, the LORD set ambushment
against the children of Ammon,
Moab, and mount Seir, which were
smitten. v22
Great and famous men are significant parts of world history.
Great men of faith are memorable parts of God’s miracle.

Through The Eyes Of Faith
Through faith, this poem was composed for the glory
of God.
through the eyes of faith,
the blind can see.
through the eyes of faith,
beyond the horizon you’ll see.
through the eyes of faith,
shadows of doubt you’ll not see.
through the eyes of faith,
peace, love and joy you’ll see.
through the eyes of faith,
hope is settled in the midst of a troubled sea.
through the eyes of faith,
you’ll remember the Lord walking on the sea.
through the eyes of faith,
outstretched hand of Jesus you’ll see.
through the eyes of faith,
greater things you’ll see.
through the eyes of faith,
God who made your eyes you’ll see!
