JOHN 10:9-30
How would do you describe an abundant life? Our immediate definition may be some what different than one that has true substance. A truly accurate description of an abundant life has to come from one who knows every aspect of life from one end of life to the other and obviously only God possesses that type of knowledge.
So how does God describe an abundant life? What are the descriptive aspects of an abundant life?
I. SALVATION 10:9
That is achieved through God’s:
A. Revealed presence 10:9 & 25
B. Loving provision 10:17-18
C. Eternal Purpose 10:10
II. SUBMISSION 10:9, 27
it is a:
A. Discerned 10:27 “My sheep hear my voice” (Knowing exactly what He would have us to do)
B. Expectant 10:27 “And I know them” (Not asking us to do something He knows we can’t)
C. Willing 10:27 “And they follow me” (Not forced but given an opportunity)
D. Rewarding 10:28 “And I give unto them eternal life” (He does more for us than we do for Him)
III. SECURITY 10:28-29
A. Promise 10:28
B. Power 10:29
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:5)
C. Purpose 10:18
