"Yes He Is, Yes He Does, and Yes He Will"
- Romans 4:21 -
"And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform."
Before we get going to far I want to give you a little word study session. For readers who don’t know it, the New Testament was written in the Greek language, then translated into Old English by King James and his translators, for me and you in the year 2001. Let’s look at (4) of the main words in our verse, persuaded, promised, able, and perform. The meanings are as follows:
* persuaded: be most surely believed, be fully known, make full proof of, to fulfill the ministry in every part, to make one certain, convince one, to be complete, covered in every part, fully convinced or assured
* promised: to announce that one is about to do or furnish something
* able: to bear calamities and trials with fortitude and patience, having power for something, to be capable, strong and powerful,
* perform: to produce, bear, to appoint, carry out, ordain: to produce, construct, form, fashion, to make ready, and so at the same time to institute, to perform: to a promise
I think you get the picture. I do, the writer of Romans does, the majority (I hope) of the Christian community have no problem believing God has any problem helping us, healing us, being there for us, on and on.
As this new year is blasting off, friend, I’ll just get to the point of the message that the Lord has laid on my heart for you this go around, right away. I must ask: What do you think about God??? What do you think he can do for you??? Do you think people like me are just nuts???
Some think he is just someone, something that is out there, who isn’t interested in mankind. Some do not think he does anything for any one. Some and I hope not you don’t even believe in him, so sad. Some treat him like he’s a candy or toy store, which too is so sad and unfortunate. I myself know he is my heavenly Father, my closest friend, who is absolutely in love with his creation and cares more for us than you and I can and will ever believe.
In the title of this message, it says all you need to know about our God in (3) little sayings.
#1 Yes He Is:
He is friend, your and my heavenly father. Yes, whether you accept it or not, he created you. He has a purpose and destiny for you. He again loves you like no one else. You don’t have to travel the journey of life alone or without hope or help.
#2 Yes He Can:
Plain and simple, he can do anything, because he is everything. Above all he can save you, redeem you from the "wages of sin", death. He has sent his only begotten son Jesus to die on the cross, shedding his pure and precious blood to get us back. All we have to do is repent, ask forgiveness for the sins and he will save us. Also he can heal us. Yes friend don’t buy the lie that those will tell you that he doesn’t , or quit healing. Just so happens I received healing just about a month ago. Let me be your witness that he can and does heal. About four months ago I was diagnosed to be diabetic. I was shocked. Good ole healthy me with a disease. But as my stubbornness showed up, I just didn’t and wouldn’t accept it. The devil in his typical fashion tried his best to put fear on me. But I keep reading healing scriptures and believing that God would fix me. Well, about three months after the bad news, I was to go back to the doctor for my check up to see how things were going. Just a few days before the appointment I just felt in my spirit that the Lord had touched me. But in wisdom, I keep on my medicine until I could talk to the doctor. When the appointment came I told the doctor, I don’t think I have diabetes any more. I told him how I felt and he agreed to take me off the pills. As well, that day they took extensive blood tests so we could compare the numbers with the original. Praise God, the next week they called and said that everything was normal........Is that awesome or what??? Living proof friend... that he can.
He can work miracles for you. Get you out of trouble and into his blessings. He can mend relationships, make you the man or woman that you were created to be, just ask. In (Matthew 7:7) it says: "Ask, seek, and knock". Just get his attention and he will come and he will get it done, I promise because he promises.
#3 Yes He Will:
He will, he will, he will. Don’t doubt, just trust him. Don’t delay, call on him now. He is closer that you think, just a prayer away. Willing and able to come to your rescue. You don’t have to be anybody special, you don’t have do have any money, you don’t have to have any one else ask for you. You qualify because you are his and he is yours. Use your faith, that’s all you have to have and he will be there...Amen.
So, for this year and always, you don’t need a "Re-solution", you need "The Solution". He is all you need for anything you need. Please, like the saying goes, "He did it for me and He will do it for you", you’ve got his word on it.
In closing let us pray for you my friend, Father, in Jesus name, bless these who have read c42day. It’s my and I know your desire Lord that they have been challenged to change their life. By trusting you Lord, they now believe who you are, that you can do all that they desire, and that you will do it. For sure they have been challenged2Bchanged. In Jesus Name....Amen
