SPIRITUALLY FATAL
"For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things." Philippians 3:18-19.
I. FATAL ATTRACTION!
And Achan answered Joshua and said, ‘Indeed I have sinned against the Lord God, and this is what I have done. When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them…So all Israel stoned him with stones.” Joshua 7:20-21, 25.
II. FATAL AFFECTION!
“Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:2. “Love not the world, neither the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” I John 2:15.
III. FATAL ASSUMPTION!
“But if you do not so, then take note, you have sinned against the Lord, and be sure your sin will find you out.” Numbers 32:23.
“For the wages of sin is death.” Romans 6:23.
IV. FATAL INTENTION!
“Now as Paul reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, ‘Go away for now; when I have a convenient time, I will call for you.” Acts 24:24.
V. FATAL DECISION!
“King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you do believe! Then Agrippa said to Paul, ‘You almost persuade me to be a Christian.” Acts 26:27-28.
VI. FATAL DESTINY!
“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” Matthew 25:41.
“Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”
