Psalm 19 Pt. II
Verses 1-6 – General Revelation
When you look into the heavens although they can’t speak they declare the existence of God – A Supreme Being, far greater than mankind
It’s through this revelation that people all over the world with diverse backgrounds and cultures declare there is a God.
But to declare there is a God or just affirm there is a God or mentally assent to His existence is not good enough.
James 2:19 – The devils believe there is one God and tremble!
Out of this Revelation alone we get the following;
1. Powerless Living
God stays out in the universe and never violates my life.
2. Compromised Values
There is no standard to measure against except you.
3. Distortion of the Truth
I am a good person
I don’t hurt anyone
I have God in my own way
You don’t need to ________ to be a Christian
Refusal of anything absolute other than there are no absolutes
Out of this revelation we create a God we can manage
Verses 7 –10 – Specific Revelation

4. Some of the first things I realize is
I in myself am no good
In my present state I do hurt others
I can’t have God in my own way
I do have to do certain things if I am a Christian
There are absolutes
Statutes are right – Rejoicing the heart
There is nothing more satisfying than knowing you are doing the right thing. And the right thing is not because you said or deemed it to be the right thing. It’s because you humbled yourself and did what God has set to be the right thing.

Clean living is only obtained by Fearing God
Judgements are true – Righteous altogether
1. God’s deductions or decrees on a matter are righteous
2. They may not seem fair to us but they are right
3. The problem is people in or society are seeking fairness rather than righteousness

Psalm 19: 12 – 14
1. Who can understand his errors
Sin that is not premeditated
The direct result of the beginning stages of
James 1: 13-15. Your playing around not realizing you can and will get pregnant.
This type of sin can take place in the mind and never take noticeable action.
Builds up momentum within us
Slowly gains strength
Alters our Attitude
Distances our thinking
It’s played out many times in what we deem as innocent non-threatening actions.
It is so subtle that we pay little or no attention to it and many times never have a Godly sorrow for it in order to lead us to repentance. I Corinthians 7: 10
Who can understand?
Why did I do that?
Why did I say that?
Why did I think that?
This is the conceptual stage you are going to conceive if you don’t deal with it here.
2. Cleanse me from my secret faults
Something is in the ground. You have Conceived
It’s taking root. It’s attached to the uterus
But it’s hidden in the ground. Not showing yet
It is a secret sin done privately for if it was known publicly it would be an embarrassment and bring humiliation
At first you experience overwhelming conviction
There is a mental battle to convince yourself that what you are doing is ok. Although you loose that battle in your spirit and within your heart you are still convinced it’s wrong and you are sinning and grieving the Spirit.
You cry out to God to forgive you and cleanse you
I John 1: 9 – If we confess are sins…. Becomes the Anti Venom
Because we don’t see it as a stronghold and something that is rooted in our life that needs to be uprooted it lays dorment waiting for the next growing season to grow and gain strength.
People in this condition inevitably believe Christians don’t need deliverance and they can’t have rooted demonic activity in their life.
All along the sin in our life is deteriorating the very fiber of our soul and spirit.
Cleanse Me Lord
I realize that the thing(s) I am allowing is/are making me dirty. I need to be clean
