The Path of Life
Psalms 16-11 – You will show me the Path of Life. In your presence is the fullness of joy and at your right hand there are pleasures for ever more.
1 Peter 2:9 – You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His special (peculiar) people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Peculiar –To make around. Like a dot inside of a circle. All directions you should see God.
What is the Path of Life? It is a path (a WAY) prepared by God through Jesus Christ.
It’s a way of life!
The Word shows us how to walk, talk, give and live and if we walk what we talk then we will give what we live.
Christians say that they have had a hard time ever since they became a Christian. They need to ponder their path. The devil is doing this and the devil is doing that. Don’t give the devil all the credit because he’s bankrupt.
No one’s been a loser longer than the devil. You have power over sin and the old man!!
You are no longer tide to a dead man!
God is not in heaven biting his nails over the works of the enemy. Yet we are in a war. And in war someone shoots and the other one shoots back.
There will be trials – Uncomfortable examinations.
Expectation without foundation will shipwreck you. Learn the Word and equip yourself daily. Quit trying to move today’s mountain with yesterday’s manna. But know that the only part of the bible you truly believe is the part that you obey.
Many people have strayed off the path. That is one reason their walk is hard.
They say Our Father then live like an orphaned.
Matt. 11: 30 – Jesus said His yoke is easy and His burden was light.
Before this teaching is over you will know that your path is cleared and your steps are secure.
John 14:6 – Jesus said I’m the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the father except through me.
This is not just for salvation off this earth, but it is the basic condition required to obtain the benefits of the risen Christ.
For healing He is the way
For sound doctrine He is the truth
For salvation He is the life
When it is all said and done: It is about what God said and Jesus has done!
The word WAY in this verse means (Middle) ex. Mediator or Advocate.
Way also means: Highway – Route – Road
The Path of Life was founded and laid by and though Calvary. You can go to heaven through Jesus if you want or you can live and abundant overcoming, peaceful life now!!!
If you purpose in your heart to walk and stay on the Path of Life.
And it is truly a Path of Life:
Proverbs 12:28 – In the WAY of righteous is life and in the pathway, there is no death.
Since Jesus is our WAY, we’ve been given the best road map that there is, and He has given us the Holy Ghost. He will lead and guide you into all truth.
He’s like our transportation
Romans 8:14 – For as many that are led (driven) by the Spirit of God they are the son’s of God.
John 14:26 – The Holy Spirit is the comforter, He’ll teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance what ever Jesus has told you.
No disrespect indented – But He is like our Holy Ghost Hot Rod! In Him we live, in Him we move, in Him we have our being.
The devil is going to try to stop you by luring you off the Path of Life.
Strife Lust Fear Bitterness Pride Divorce Drugs-Alcohol-Cigs Tradition
The Holy Spirit will protect you from any hitchhikers.
They can’t ride unless you pick them up. Don’t pull over.
Don’t open the door to the devil
If the devil does succeed in luring you off the Path always remember with any temptation God leaves a way of escape.
My sheep know my voice and the voice of a stranger they will not follow. When lust calls you just keep on going.
Luke 10:19 – He gave you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all of the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
So when the Devil or his demon team try to lure you off to the left or right: Where do you stay?
In the Middle (Word)
Proverbs 4:25-27 – Let your eyes look right on let your eyelids look straight before you (Holy Ghost Blinders)
Ponder the path of your feet and let all your Way’s be established. (God controlled)
Turn not to the right or to the left -- remove your foot from evil. (look out for extremes)
Ps. 119:101 – I have refrained my feet from every evil WAY that I might keep your Word.
Proverbs 8:13 – The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, pride and arrogance and the evil WAY.
Through Christ -- He has given you all the power to execute every weapon to walk and stay victorious on the Path of Life.
And our walk depends on our talk.
Rev. 12:11 – You overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of your Testimony. The Word is your testimony.
It is good what the Word says, but what does it say in you? Pebble to a diamond

The Word shows us the Ways of death and the penalty for walking that WAY.
Proverbs 15:10 – There is severe disciple for Him who forsakes God’s WAY and he who hates correction will die (physically, morally and spiritually) AMP
Ps. 35:6 – There WAY is dark and slippery.
Proverbs 13:15 - The WAY of the transgressor is hard.
Proverbs 14:12 – There is a WAY which seems right unto a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it are the WAYS of death.
Proverbs 4:14-27 READ
God has prepared the Path of Life and there are many conditions but here is one:
PS. 37:4-6 – Delight yourself also in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart, commit your WAY unto the Lord, trust in Him and He shall bring it to pass --- He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your Justice as the shining sun of the noon day.
Mark 10:52 – Jesus told Bartimaeus to go his WAY but he followed Jesus in the WAY.
Lets look at how God has prepared The Path of Life:
1. Joshua 1:8 -- Make Your WAY prosperous….
2. Ps. 32:8 – He’ll instruct and teach you in the WAY.
3. Proverbs 3:5-6 – He’ll direct your Path
4. Ps. 18:32 – He’ll support you with strength making your WAY perfect.
5. Ps. 37:23 – The steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord.
6. Ps. 18:36 – He enlarges your steps that they slip not.
7. Proverbs 3:23 – You will walk in your WAY in safety and your foot will not stumble.
Wisdom and Discretion
8. Ps. 119:105 – The Word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.
No Word—No WAY
9. Ps. 37:6 – He will bring forth your righteous as the light.
10. Proverbs 15:19 – The WAY of the lazy is overgrown with thorns (it pricks, lacerates and entangles him). But the WAY of the Righteous is plain and raised up like a highway. AMP
11. Proverbs 2:8 – He has preserved the WAY of His saints!
12. Colossians 2:14 – Christ having wiped out the handwriting of evidence against us, which always hung over our heads. And He has taken it out of the WAY, nailing it to the cross.
Jeremiah 32:38-39 – They shall be my people and I will be their God; then I will give them one heart and one WAY, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.
Proverbs 23:19 – Hear Me my son and be wise and guide your heart in the WAY.
Jeremiah 21:8 – Thus say’s the Lord: Behold I set before you the WAY of life and the WAY of death. But you must choose!!
