Waiting for the moving of the water.
Waiting for instant blessing, instant healing, instant transformation.
On the porch
There are a multitude of Christians today who spiritually speaking are on the porches.
They are not doing anything for God. They’re watching, judging , criticizing, They know how it should be done, but they are not doing anything.
Porches are gathering places.
Birds of a feather flock together, like kind attracts like kind.
If some folk didn’t have their sickness, they wouldn’t have anything to talk about.
There’s no healing on the porch.
An angel came down at a certain season and troubled the water, whosoever first stepped in was healed of whatsoever disease he had.
Wilt thou be made whole?
You have to decide to decide.
Are you willing to get off the porch, are you willing to change your associations, that accomadate your attitude or your problems.
No man to put me in
One of the greatest excuses in the church, I don’t have any one to give it to me.
If they would bring it to me, I would take it.
Better late than never:
This is one of the worst plagues in the church, this attitude, that some is better than none, and better late than never. It has produced a real spirit of indifference and insincerity.
There is a dimension of God’s presence and power that can never be experienced by these people.
This Glory is reserved for those who are first into the pool. Those who live toward God with a spirit of urgency, and importance. (Seek ye first the Kingdom of God )………
Certain Season:
There is a season for everything, and a time to every purpose under heaven.
If we are not spiritually in tune with God, we can miss the greatest seasons, of visitation that the church has ever known.
Stepping in:
There comes a time when singing about it isn’t enough
Preaching about it isn’t enough. Shouting about it isn’t enough. We can shout and dance and preach about all the great things, God has done and never touch what he’s doing.
We can stay on the porch and talk about all the great revivals of the past, and how God manifested his glory, or we can get off the porch and step in.
Why did Jesus come to this one man?
While I am coming:.
This is the key to transformation in your life, It’s the continual coming. He kept coming, for 38 years he had been in the process of coming, to the water.
And jesus came to him, because he was coming.
We have got to make up our minds, that we are going to keep coming. To the house of God,. To the hour of prayer, To the word of God.
Jesus said: The words that I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life.
There is miracle power in the word, saving power healing power, transforming power.
But you’ve got to be willing to be changed, and you’ve got to be willing to put forth the effort, to get into these waters.
