-Do you have that first Joy?
-Worry is Satans joy killer.
-Do you know God and understand what he has told you to do?
Verse 33 Phil. 4:13
7 reasons not to worry:
1)The same God who created life in you can be trusted with the details of your life.
A)Seeking His guidance in your daily activities.
B)He gives you the ability to overcome.
2)Worrying about the future hampers your efforts for today.
Planning is good
Worrying is bad
3)Worrying is more harmful than helpful
Physical and Spritial illness.
verses 28-30
4)God does not ignore those who depend on Him.
A) Is your faith and trust in God sufficient.
B)Do we turn to Him first in crisis.
5)Worrying shows lack of faith and understanding of God.
A)Have we developed an understanding of what God wants from us on this life?
B)Do we pursue those objectives?
Verse 33
6)There are real challenges God wants us to pursue, and worrying keeps us from them.
Many things compete for our minds focus each day. We must actively choose to keep God first in our mind.
*Turn to God first for all things.
7)Living one day at a time keeps us from being consumed with worry.
-Planning for tomorrow is time well spent.
-Worrying about tomorrow is time wasted.
Careful planning with goals
steps
schedules
and trust in God’s guidance is what we must do in our life as well as our church life.
Jesus tells us to"take no thought" about those needs which God promises to supply.
Worry May:
1)Damage your health
2)Cause the object of your worry to consume your thoughts.
3)Disrupt yoour productivity.
4)Negitively affect the way you treat others.
5)Reduce your ability to trust God.
There is a difference between worry and concern:
Worry immobilizes but concern moves you to action.
