ECHOS FROM THE BURNING BUSH
EXODUS 3: 1-6
3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.
2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

We remember how Moses was put in the river in a in a little ark or basket when he was a baby because Phar-aoh had charged all his people that every son that was born was to be cast into the river to drawn.
He had been hidden in the mothers home for three months, because she saw that he was a goodly child.
Even upon birth, because of the plan of God, he was seen as someone special.
When Moses was placed in the river, his sister stood afar off to see what was going to happen to the little baby.
Phar-aoh’s daughter came down to the river to wash and found the little ark with the baby in it.
The Bible says she had compassion on the baby because he was crying. His sister told the woman she could go and find a nurse for Moses and she told her to do so.
And of course you know the story, she went and got the baby’s mother to be the nurse. And she even got paid to him.
Let me just pause and say something to someone right now.-----That child or that grandchild that you are worrying about most every day of your life will be all right if you will just give him or her to God this morning.
I believe God is showing us in this example, just as He took care of Moses, He can take care of the one that is on your mind right now just the same.
Put him or her in the ark of prayer and place it in the river. Come on church, in the River the bible says there is peace, joy, and comfort. (glory to God)
Turn loose, like the mother of Moses did, and let God show you what He can do.
You know how the story goes. Moses grew and was taught and lived in the house of Phar-aoh.
Then he took up for one of the Hebrews, ended up killing an Egyptian, was seen in the act and had to flee for his life.
The Bible says that he had to flee from the face of Phar-aoh to the land of Midian.
In that strange land, Moses found at a well and later married one of the seven daughters of the piest of Midian.
In the process of time the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed because of the bondage they were in and they cried out to God. And He heard their groanings and remembered his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The Bible says that God looked upon the children of Israel and that He had respect unto them.
Church, He remembers the covenants He has made with us in His word and He will stand by them if we do what we know we are supposed to do.
One day Moses led his father in laws flock to the backside of the desert. The Word said he came to the mountain of God. ( I’ve been there----in the backside of a desert at the mountain of God)
I know what it is like to be away from people, away from what they call church, away from what they call a move of God, away from what they call getting saved and all the other things that the modern church is doing in the hour we are living in.
On the backside of that desert, God was able to get the attention of Moses and speak to him. On the backside of my desert, God got my attention, He spoke to me, and for the first time in my life I knew there were more important things in life than what I had been doing.
I, for the first time, knew what real love was and how to tell other people I love you and not be to prideful to do it. For the first time I could tell my wife I love you and know what it really meant. I could tell my kids I love you, I could tell my mother I love you. And I can stand here today and say to you in this church-------I LOVE YOU.
This is something that only God can put in you. Without God in your life, I don’t believe you can say I love you and mean it. Without God it’s not really real, because God is love. Being a parent or a child isn’t love, being a family member isn’t love. God is love. And God in you causes you to love-------I mean love like you never have.
And so God loved His people and listened to their cries.
The Bible says that on the backside of that desert the angel of the Lord appeared unto Moses in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: He looked at the bush as it burned and was not consumed.
He decided to turn aside and investigate and when he did so, God spoke to him from the bush. He said come close and pull off your shoes because you are standing on holy ground. And then He said I’m the God of your father, of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
The Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptions, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
He said, I will send thee unto Phar-aoh, that you may bring my people out of Egypt.
Moses said, who am I that I could do this thing and God said you are the sent of Me and I will be with you. And when you have brought the people out of bondage, you will serve me upon this mountain.
We’ve got too many preachers and leaders in the churches today who don’t know who they are! They are the sent of God. Sent because the people are in some kind of bondage and they need to be delivered.
And the people need to rember that he is sent by the Great I Am------The I AM THAT I AM----The One that is from everlasting to everlasting.
The Moses that God sent was not just some person to do what none of them wanted to do. Not just the gardner or the janitor, but he was the sent of God. He was the one that God was going to give direction to and He meant for the children of Israel to follow him or die on the bank of the Red Sea, to listen to him or wonder in the wilderness and die on the bank of the river Jordan.
I’m talking about, receive the manna, receive the water from the rock, receive the quail, but be obedient. Not to Moses, but to the God that spoke through him.
Today I am hearing echos from the burning bush. The fire of God is still speaking. Thousands of years have gone by, but God is still speaking to us in the fire, the Holy Ghost and Fire.
When we enter this place and the Spirit begins to move, we are standing on holy ground. There is Power Power Wonder Working Power.
Power to be saved, Power to be filled with the Spirit, Power to be healed, and Power to be raised from the dead.
God is sending echos from the bush-------My people are in bondage------They are crying out to Me------I have made a way-------Go and preach to this generation that their eyes would be opened that they can see and that their ears would be opened that they can hear.
Yes, we are living thousands of years later, but He is the same. He hasn’t changed. The church has so she could be popular. So she would be liked.
The church is no longer strict------most anything goes. The churches have been split between the young and the old. Mainly so we wouldn’t have to say no to the devils beat.
But, thank God, there are a few crying out-------Come and deliver us-------Send us a Moses------Send us the manna from above-------Lead us across the river.
I hear the echos from the bush today, I see the fire, I realize that we are on holy ground. Hear me today, God is speaking to the churches in America and around the world. Time is drawing to a close. America is under attack, Israel is under attack, other countries or under attack, we are all attacking back. There will be wars and rumer of wars. There is a great falling away. There is a form of godliness but a denial of the power thereof. The majority of the church has itching ears wanting to hear that we don’t have to believe strict anymore, that we can do all the things the world is doing and still be the church of the Living God.
People act like, that because God gave His Son to die, we can continue to sin and live in sin and it doesn’t matter anymore. We can live just like the world and still go to heaven. Satan has blinded the majority of the universe. And many in the church has fallen for it.
Come on church, He hasn’t changed, sin is still sin, hell is still hell, and heaven is still heaven, but His Word says no sin will enter therin.
The problem is, most people don’t know what sin is anymore. My Bible says to him that knoweth to to good and doeth it not, to him it is sin and that covers a multitude of things.
Why is God reminding us of all these things in this hour of time? Because soon and very soon Jesus is coming to rapture the church out of this Sodom and Gomora.
And I said church. ( He’s not coming after all the social clubs who are not teaching the Bible, or those who are allowing homasexuals to be ordained, or those who are allowing their so called ministers to sexually abuse little boys and girls, and call themselves churches.)
I know that sounds hard, but God is a God of judgement, and He doesn’t close an eye to all those kinds of abomanations.
Those kinds of organizations are bound by satan and God has sent some Moses kind of preachers in these last days to tell the truth. And He has done that because He still loves them and cares about their souls.
I hear echos today. And they are echos of love. Love from a loving God. A God that is saying come to Me and let Me give you rest.
Stop worrying about what family, neighbors, and friends will say and let the God of love saturate you with it, let the Holy Ghost come on you, worship the King of Kings and be proud of it. Call on Him, pray to Him, live for Him and not for your kids or anybody else, and watch your situation change.
There are things that God has spoken through me today that are not for every person in this building. But I believe there is something for each one. Listen to what God says to you and don’t swell up and pout about what’s not for you.
God is saying to all mankind today, if you have gotten out of church-----get back in. If you have gotten back into the world-------get out. If you have compromised------uncompromise.
He is giving us a chance today, if we are in bondage, to get out. Get out of sin, get out of sickness, get out of depression, get out of defeat, and get into the favor of God and remember what it is like to be happy again.
Follow His leading and put your trust in Him--------He will bring you out.
You may be here today and not even realize that you are really going to need Him sometime soon. If you have laid Him on a shelf somewhere, He may not be available when you call out. Don’t lay God aside when you think you don’t need His help. Stay active with the Lord every day so that He is right with you when you need Him.
His message to us today is-------Just as He loved the children of Israel, He loves us. And just as He delivered them, He is waiting to deliver again. Just follow Him to the river and He will part it once again and you can go across.
