Revelation 22:1-14
22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

There are times in our lives that we get involved in projects or situations that go on and on. Other times we are involved in areas of our life that have an end. And really the things that we think are going on and on will some day stop. The reason is because some day we are going to stop and our life, as we know it on this earth, will come to an end. When that time comes, we will face eternity just as we are. That is why it is so important to take advantage of the time we have now to make sure we are living our life in a way that is pleasing to God. As sure as there is a begining, there is an end.
At that time what will happen?
Well, a lot things will begin to take place and we don’t have the time in one service to speak it all. But we all understand that our time to make a difference in the outcome of our life in eternity will be over. There will never be another chance to ask forgiveness ever again. That part of our life will be over, but it won’t be the end.
I believe that the next great event that mankind will be involved in will be the Rapture of the Bride of Christ, the Church. It may be that we who know the Lord as our Saviour will leave this old world of sin in the air, and not by the way of the grave, sooner than we realize.
If that is the case, we will go straight to the Marriage Supper of The Lamb for seven years according to the Word of God.
During that time those that are left in this present world will experience more of hell on earth than mankind has ever imagened. Under the rule of the Antichrist everything will fall apart as we know it. There will be famine and trouble like never before. War and killing will be at an all time high. Those who refuse the mark of the beast will die from all kinds of reasons. People will scream and cry out to God, but it will be too late. As for grace and mercy it will be the end.
Let me stop right here and say something. If you are here and you have any kind of proplem in your life, God can remove it today. He loves you. He gave His only begotten Son for you. So He does care. The things of this world will not satisfy the cravings that you have in your soul. They’re just a quick fix. That is why you have to keep opening another bottle, another package, or another door. It’s because there is no total satisfaction in your habit. But I can promise you there is total peace and satisfaction in Jesus Christ. Begin to yeild to Him now and let Him give you the peace that passeth all understanding. Instead of you having to open containers for your help, open your hearts door and let Jesus come into your container. Then and only then will you have joy unspeakable and full of glory. And only then will you be ready for the end.
We will all have to answer to The Creater of the universe, The Great I Am, The Everlasting Father, Almighty God for the way we have lived. There may be a thousand and seven years after the rapture before you have to do it, but that time will pass swiftly. Then the day will come. On the Isle of Patmos John said it this
Rev 20:11-21:1
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Right here I need to tell you that it is a matter of life and death if our name is not in that book. You say, I don’t know much about that book. It doesn’t matter if you have never heard of it or not, your name better be in it or you will never walk through the gate of heaven. But without your name there, you will surely be cast into outer darkness. A place where there will be knashing of teeth, an eternal fire that will consume you, and the Bible says the worm dieth not.
Let me tell you what the Bible says about that book.
Rev 3:5
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

According to this word, we have to orercome. It’s more than just knowing who Jesus is in our mind. We have to know Him in our heart. It’s more than just knowing what salvation is, we have to experience it in our own life. We have to be washed in the blood. We have to let go of the old man and put on the new.
If you came to church one time and heard about salvation, got prayed for, went home and didn’t change one thing in your life, then you didn’t get saved. You just received information about it. It is a life changing experience.
You can’t inherit it form grandma, grandpa, mommy, or daddy and belonging to a church won’t save your soul. You, yourself, have to come to Jesus and be washed by His cleansing blood white as snow. And stay that way. There is no other way!
If you are still doing all or even some of the things that you did before, then you are not saved. You are just letting the devil lie to you and make you believe you are. Listen to me, old things are passed away and ALL things become new. Salvation is a life changing experience!
The only way to overcome the world is by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. Yes, you have to live in the world, but you don’t have to let the world live in you.
1 John 4:4
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

And so in the end our name will have to be in that book if we are going to overcome.
Remember what John said about it if it isn’t:
13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

What we see is that if your name is not in the Lamb’s Book of Life, you are worshiping satan wheather you realize it or not. And you will be held accountable in the end.
Thank God we have had oppertunity to receive the Lord as our Saviour. I am glad that I can call Him Lord of my life and know that He is. Because of that, I have peace in all things.
Remember what John said was waiting for those whose name is in the book?

In heaven there will be a wonderful time for ever and ever and ever. While in Hell there will be torment for ever and ever and ever.
There is absolutely no reason not to be in heaven except that you are not willing to live for Jesus.
He loves you and is not willing that any should perish, but that all would have everlasting life.
Whatever you do today, don’t leave here unsure of your future with God.
The Bible is very clear about this:

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

To ever walk on the streets of gold, you have to be totally clean, washed by the blood of
The Lamb. There are those in this room today who know they are not totally honest before God in some areas of their life. Listen to the Spirit today as He speaks to you.
Ex 20:3-17
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not kill.
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

As the Spirit is speaking right now these alters are open. Don’t be so afraid or so proud that you can’t come and let God help you anywhere you need help. It’s nobodys business today what you need to talk to the Lord about. No one will even ask. Before the end let’s be sure that we are ready to stand before God.
