Everyone is a sinner!
· Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
There is only one cure for sin: It has to be covered!
· You can try to cover it yourself, like Achan (Joshua 7:20-21) or Ananias & Sapphira (Acts 5:9-10) - OR, you can ask Jesus to cover it!
Jesus’ blood is the only substance with power to cover sin.

· A Propitiation - “to offer a sacrifice of sufficient value in order to appease wrath”
1 John 2:1-2 - My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
· An Atonement - “to cover”
Romans 5:10-11 - For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
