The Beginning of The End

AMERICA IS KILLING GOD AND NO ONE CARES! Harsh statement? Perhaps...but quite true! It all started with on lone lady by the name of Madeline O’Hare! In 1962, Madeline Murray O’Hare worked tirelessly to have pray banned from public schools. This Anti-Christian feminist working almost single-handedly achieved her goal of taking God and prayer out of school. We have a severe problem with the left-wing liberal leadership
in this country, but part of the blame lies in the hands of the American people.
If one lady working almost alone could get the supreme Court to remove prayer from school, imagine what the Christians in the U.S. could do if we would stand up and demand that Christian principles be set back up in our government! From studying the Constitution I understand that it is unconstitutional to tell children in public school that they cannot pray; however many students in California, New York, and Massachusetts have been actually taken off to jail for assembling peacefully in front of their schools.
The American Center for Law and Justice is now in the
process of defending these cases. Not only has prayer been banned, but the Ten Commandments have been taken off the walls in public schools. In 1994 a bill passed the House, but was defeated in the Senate, banning
religion or religious expression in the workplace.
I saw a copy of this bill. It attached religion to a sexual harassmant law. Would somebody please tell me what religion has to do with sexual harassment? This bill would have made it unlawful to carry a Bible to
work or even mention Jesus Christ. Religious symbols such as crosses were to be banned as well as any religious T-shirts as literature. I find it strange how something so dictating never made it in the
newspapers or the national media. I’m very thankful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that it was defeated in the Senate, but it should not be have never been written up in the first place. These things should not be taking place in America. This is a nation that was founded on the principles of Jesus Christ.
The recent election was a breath of fresh air to the nation; but if people think our problems are through, they are wrong. This is only the beginning. The New Republican Congress last fall brought up the proposal
of school prayer. They wanted a prayer amendment to allow prayer in schools to be passed by July 4 1995. National polls showed the country over whelmingly wanted prayer in schools. As soon as plans were being
made to vote on this amendment at the beginging of the new congress. The Anti-Christian left lashed out, screaming separation of church and state: A measure in the constitution designed to keep the government out
of the church not the church out of the government. When the new congress heard these anti-Christian cries they decided to put the vote off for later. It must be pointed out that congress cannot be blamed for this. They were willing to vote on this amendment but as soon as they tried, Anti-Christian cries came out.
America Continues On Killing God

In the Preamble of the constitution it says, "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
Where is our liberty to worship God in this country in whatever manner or place that we so chose to worship Him? It seems as thought the Gnostics, athiests and others have a right to "worship their "IDOLS" in
whatever place they so chose. Then There are those who can teach the false "evolution" theories of creation; but mention God and The truth and you are not only banned from it, but persecuted and jailed for it!
Why is that? The one important factor that was the basis for this country’s Constitution by our forefathers was The Bible and God! Now it seems as if this whole country is changing from the solid foundation of God to the "house that was built on sand"(Matthew 7:26) In the end it will crumble and fall into the sea.
America still continues to Kill God in every way they can and it is our responsibility, as Christians, to stop it in a Godly and righteous way. The question here is will we? They have banned prayer, Bible Study,the Ten commandments and even the mention of God in our schools and public places other than religious sanctuaries or places. They allow athiesm, Harry Potter and evolution to run rampant in our schools and condone it!
In the beginning of the Bill of Rights it says, "The Conventions of a number of the States having, at the time of adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its
powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added, and as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government will best insure the beneficent ends of its institution."
Have they not abused their power beyond reason and fairness? Have they not misconstrued and altered what the founding fathers of this country had tried to avoid? How can they expect us to respect the very
government of this country whe they do not respect it’s people or the very foundation that this country was set up on? Let’s take a look at the first amendment of the Bill of Rights. It says,
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
OH YEAH? It seems that this amendment applies to everything but religion and the "free exercise thereof", except of course...if it is any
religion but the True religion of God. Seems as though everyone has a right to freedom of speech...except God’s people! Don’t you think that is sort of strange? Yet America keeps on Killing God and we let them. We let them make laws that prohibit our freedom of worship, laws that prohibit our children’s right to pray when and where they chose..even in schools and laws that allow every vile and false thing but make laws that condemn that which is right and pure in God’s sight.
In the Bill of Rights, Amendment IX it says, " The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." What to do they call what they
are doing to God and God’s people? Our right to the freedom of worshipping God is being taken from us....piece by piece by piece. Tell me, where were the Christians? We, as Christians, as of right now have
lost every other battle with the U.S. Government. We have a great opportunity to win the battle for prayer in public schools. I urge each and every one of you to make an effort! (For your information: Find out

Remember in Jeremiah Chapter 2:1,2 the word says, "Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, Saying, Go and cry in the ears of Jeruslaem, saying, Thus saith the Lord; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousal, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. "Let us cry in the ears of America the way God told Jeremiah to cry in the ears of Jerusalem and
say, "Thus saith the Lord!" Since our government took this public stand against God in 1962, we have had turmoil in our public schools. Everything from murder to rape has been prevalent.
Taking a stand

If we are to be counted worthy to be in the Kingdom of God and be part of God’s Kingdom; then we must take a stand in and for Jesus. We must also stand firm with HIm. even in the face of the fiercest adversity.
The first thing we should know and understand is that the WORD OF GOD will stand Forever! Isaiah 40:8 says,"The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever. The word of God
will stand forever, irregardless of how many may call it a myth, a fantasy or a lie. For those who do not believe in god or His word, in the end they will find out just how much God’s word stands. IT will be
too late for them and there is nothing they can do to change it. They had choosen the road in life they took.
Standing firm in the Lord and in your Faith

There are things that we, who are in Christ must know and be able to do. There is one Biblical question that we must answer and other questions that we must ask ourselves so that we can and will stand with The Lord
when He returns.
In Malachi 3:2 it asks the question: "But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth?" Will You? Will you remain strong in your faith, trust and loyality to the God who created
you and the Son of God who died for you? Will you be able to stand upright and Praise the Lord at His appearing? If you are not, perhaps then it is time to consider all the facts that have been presented to
you in regards to your own Salvation.
In 2 Corinthians 1:24 it says, "Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand." Those who will witness to you are not standing in dominion or haughtiness or
judgment over you, we are emerely trying to guide you into joy and eternal happiness. For those of different Christian Faiths we share in that joy and by your faith, as by all true Christians who have faith, we
will be able to stand firm in the Lord even unto judgment. Paul, the apostle, wanted us to know that we, as children of the Lord are here to help one another even in our joy. We do not do it by saying that we are better than you, but equal with you and in that joy that is shared, we all can, by faith stand firm in the Lord. If we stand firm with others in our faith and belief in God, we are supporters of one another in the Faith and we share that faith and that joy that comes with being in Christ.
How Do We Stand Firm?

In 1 Corinthians 16:13, we are instructed to: "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. What this means is that we are to remins steadfast in our faith and belief in the Lord, our God once we have received His gift of Salvation. When we stand firm in god, God will protect us from the evil and shield us from the harm that evil can do. What evil? The evil of temptation, lust, adultery and the like. we are instructed in Ephesians 6:13-14 that we should "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil
day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness." This is only part of the armour of God. In order to be fully armed we
must follow completely what Ephesians 6:8-20 tells us. If we do we will be completely protected agains all evil and we will have what we need to stand firm and in faith with the Lord.
"Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving
together for the faith of the gospel."(Philippines 1:27) The Lord is reminding us that whether He be where we can see Him or not, he will still hear us and know our faithfulness and stand in Him because we are
all of one spirit if we stand fast in that spirit with one mind speaking and searching for the faith of the Gospel. We are to preach the Gospel of faith and stand firmly on His word. He know our very hearts and He
knows if you are standing firm or just talking with your mouth and have an "empty heart". Again in Philippine 4;1 we are re-assured of God’s promise if we remain steadfast and stand firmly in and with Him and His word:"Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so standfast in the Lord, my dearly beloved."
In 1 Peter 5:12, Peter says, "By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand. What does this mean? If we testify to the true Grace of God in whom we stand then we, ourselves are also are partakers of that same Grace. I would like to give you with
a verse from 1 Timothy 3:8: "For now we live, if ye stand fast in the Lord." Here again we are reminded of the promise of eternal life if we stand fast in the Lord no matter what this life and this world may dish
out to us along the way.That is God’s Promise to us and it is a Promise that He Keeps. Will you standfast in the Lord? Will you be counted among those who do? Will you be one of those that takes a stand to stop
America from Killing God?
If Jesus did..then Why can’t we?

If Jesus took a stand for us, then why can’t we take a stand for Him and His father - God? I am going to leave this with you as food for thought:
"He paid the Price and still He walked"
He could hear the crowds screaming "crucify" "crucify"...He could hear
the hatred in their voices,These were his chosen people.He loved them, and they were going to crucify him. He was beaten, bleeding and weakened... his heart was broken, But still He walked.
He could see the crowd as he came from the palace. He knew each of the faces so well. He had created them. He knew every smile, laugh, and shed tear, But now they were contorted with rage and anger...his heart
broke,But still He walked.
He felt alone. His disciples Had left, denied, and even betrayed him. He searched the crowd for a loving face and he saw very few. Then he turned his eyes to the only one that mattered and even He had to turn from Him because of our sin. He was alone, His only comfort was knowing He was taking our place. He looked back at the crowd, at the people who were spitting at him, throwing rocks at him and mocking him and He knew
that because of him, they would never be alone. So for them, He walked.
The sounds of the hammer striking the spikes echoed through The crowd. The sounds of his cries echoed even louder, The cheers of the crowd, as his hands and feet Were nailed to the cross, intensified with each blow.
Loudest of all was the still small voice inside his Heart that whispered "I am with you my son".........And God’s heart broke.He had let his son
walk. Jesus could have asked God to end his suffering, But instead he asked God to forgive, Not to forgive him, But to forgive the ones who were persecuting him. As he hung on that cross, dying an unimaginable death, He looked out and saw, not only the faces in the crowd, but also, the face of every person yet to be, and his heart filled with love. As his body was dying, his heart was alive. Alive with the limitless,
unconditional love he feels for each of us. That is why He walked.
When I forget how much My God loves me, I remember His walk. When I wonder if I can be forgiven,I remember his walk. When I need reminded of how to live like Christ,I think of His walk. And to show him how much I
love him, I wake up each morning, turn my eyes to him........... ~As I walk, God walks with me~
