Got GOD?

Dan 2:3 And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.
Dan 2:31-35 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness [was] excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof [was] terrible. This image’s head [was] of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet [that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
--------------
Nebuchadnezzar dreamed a message that God was giving him about man’s history from his time forward.
· There was an idol of a man.
· And the man’s head was made of solid gold.
· The chest and arms were silver.
· The belly and thighs were brass.
· And the legs were iron.
· The fet were iron mixed with clay.
· Notice the qulaity of the metals becomes inferior from the head down to the feet until the feet is made of iron and lcay that do not even mingle and form a solid substance.
God showed man that without Him, man is conceited and proud and has no foundation to satnd upon.
· A golden head represented the kingdom of babylon -- Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom.
· And it also speaks of a conceited humanity.
· But its feet were useless and not a reliable foundation.
· Iron mixed with clay.
· Such an existence of man is conceited and is foundationless, and will only lead to destruction.
Prov 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.
We must be concerned with where we stand.
· It is nonsense to have a golden head and a useless foundation.
· Our feet must be proper foundation for us.
· It is not me, my head, that is my greatest concern.
· It is my standing.
· I have to be concerned over what is under my feet, also.
· When the interpretation was given, we read the following about the feet:
Dani 2:41-43 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And [as] the toes of the feet [were] part of iron, and part of clay, [so] the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
Who are "they"?
· "They" shall mingle themselves with the seed of men.
· And whoever "they" are, "they" will not cleave with the seed of men.
· The kingdom would be partly strong and partly broken.
"They" are mentioned again later.
· Nebuchadnezzar was given another dream wherein a great tree covered the earth.
· All animals of the earth lodged in the tree.
· But a watcher and a holy one came and commanded the tree to be cut down.
· And it was left with its roots intact.
· And seven times (years) passed over it.
Dani 4:16 Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
And we read this about the interpretation:
Dani 4:20-25 The tree that thou sawest, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth; Whose leaves [were] fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it [was] meat for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches the fowls of the heaven had their habitation: It [is] thou, O king, that art grown and become strong: for thy greatness is grown, and reacheth unto heaven, and thy dominion to the end of the earth. And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and [let] his portion [be] with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him; This [is] the interpretation, O king, and this [is] the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king: That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
"They" would rive him from amongst mankind.
· "They" would make him eat grass as oxen.
And then we read later:
Dani 4:30-32 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? While the word [was] in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, [saying], O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling [shall be] with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.
And when "they" did this to him, we read:
Dani 4:33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ [feathers], and his nails like birds’ [claws].
"THEY" were demon spirits.
· The king became demon possessed.
"They" are the same "they" ion the first vision.
· "They" would mingle themselves with the seed of men.
· Demons spirits are attracted to people who do not think they need God.
· People with golden heads and no foundation.
Jesus is the ROCK OF MY SALVATION.
· I stand upon Him.
· I am not so much concerned about having a GOLDEN HEAD as much as I am concerned about STANDING ON A STREET OF GOLD.
Reve 21:21 And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
Jesus said:
Matt 21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
The image the king saw was smitten at the feet by a rock that ground it to powder and chaff that blew away int he wind.
Be concerned about God.
· Get a foundatiopn of gold beneath you.
· Being concerned with self alone is like having a golden head with a useless foundation of feet with iron and clay that do not mingle.
· Without God we are like brute beasts (2 Pet 2:10).
· He created us to be in His image.
· He created us to stand upon His as our Rock.
· And for humans to refuse to stand upon Him, after we were created to do so, is utterl nonsense and foolishness.
Beleive beleive in a god and yet they act completely absurd when they say they do not want to serve Him.
· God created everything that exists.
· It was created for His will.
· When something He created goes against his will it simply goes berserk.
Lucifer was an angelic being.
Ezek 28:13-14 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
He was covered with precious stones LIKE THE HIGH PRIEST OF GOD had a breastplate of precious stones (Ex. 28:15-17).
· He was ANOINTED, like priests were anointed to minister to God.
· He "covered" or had a ministry over a certain aspect of God’s creation.
· He was on the holy mountain. of God.
· Thsi was the holiest of holies.
Like the temple:
EDEN was the outer court.
· THE GARDEN was the Holy Place.
· The HOLY MOUNTAIN of God was the HOLIEST OF HOLIES.
Lucifer was in the holiest presence of God as a high priest.
He walked upon the stones of fire.
· In Rev. 4:6 there is a glass (mirrored) sea before the throne.
· God’s glory is a consuming fire.
· So to stand on stones of fire is to stand on the glass sea before the throne, that reflected the glory fire of God.
· That was how close to God Lucifer was.
Reve 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire.
Musical instruments were assocated with Lucifer.
· Priests played harps -- like King David.
· See Rev. 5:8.
He had a throne:
Isai 14:12-13 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
The holy mountain of God was where God’s throne was.
Psal 48:1-2 A Song [and] Psalm for the sons of Korah. Great [is] the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, [in] the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, [is] mount Zion, [on] the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
The sides of the north.
· The holiest of holies.
Isai 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Lucifer wanted his throne on the sides of the north in the holiest of holies.
Isai 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
This angel became a devil when he tried to live without God.
