Right Attitudes about Truth
·Speak the truth-Eph. 4:25 Do Not Grieve the Spirit
25 Therefore, putting away lying, "Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor," for we are members of one another. RESPECT EACH OTHER! As new creations, TELL THE TRUTH!
·Walk in the truth-3 John 3:4 4I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. Walk in the Light-Flashlights in a cave pierce darkness.
·Worship-John 4:23-24 23But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." In Truth-no fakes. God knows a fake.
·Handle accurately-2 Tim. 2:15 15Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Truth is valuable-like treasure. Handle with care. Dividing the truth. Understanding it-telling others
·Be Established-2 Peter 1:10-12 10Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; 11for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 12 For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.
Calling and election? Sure? No stumbling-sure footed-grounded
