“Brethren of Christ II”
Matt. 13:55, Judges 11
The name of Jesus means, “Jehovah is Salvation. This is the only means of salvation for all of mankind that is through the Shed Blood of The Lord Jesus Christ. Which is the provision of God in this life. It’s Provided:
Freely
Faithfully (God anticipates that the provision will be used)
Forever
Every Christian can understand the importance of the “Brethren of Christ”, by examining the truths concerning their names.
The first, brother of our Lord was James, his name means; Supplant, which means add to or in addition to. Salvation through the shed Blood of Christ is more than we deserve; it’s more than adequate for entry into Heaven. But there is more to the Christian experience than Salvation. First we should Supplement our salvation with:
Wisdom, Works, and a Willingness, now let’s examine the next brother which is Joses his name means; He that Pardons or we could say that he is Sympathetic. If we are going to reach our full potential as a Christian we must Supplement our Salvation and be Sympathetic in our Salvation because;
Matthew 6:14-15 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Colossians 3:12-15 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

1B) Their Fight v. 4-7
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
1C) Their Future v. 8-11
Revelation 5:9-10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
2) There is a Necessity
2A) Because of the Guilt (that they carry)

2B) Because of the Glory (that God gets)

2C) Because of the Gallantry (that you possess)
