God has not only called us, He has provided us with all the grace necessary to live the Christian life victoriously.
Our Scripture provides the outline for this expositional sermon from the Word of God.
I Peter 5:10
"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
I> The God of all grace will supp;y the grace that is needed for your salvation.
A. Your call is by God's grace.
B. You are saved by grace.
1. Preveient Grace= God's grace that calls you to the Son. This grace prevents you froom dying before coming to the knowledge of God's love. " No one can come to me exceept the Father draws him"( ).
2. Justifying Grace= When you actually
accept Christ as your Savior. Yopu are justified, This makes you "Just as if I'd never sinned". Romans 8:1
3. Sanctifying Grace= Sets one apart for service. Gives one victory over sin in life. I Thessalonians 5:23
4. Perfecting Grace= "We srive for the high mark of our calling". We seek to be made perfect in love. Wesley's going on to perfection! "Be ye perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect". We aare to be made perfect in love.
II> Suffering is temporary.
A> Temporal things cannot ccompare to eternal things
1. Pain.
2. Sickness.
3. Financial ruin.
4. Family Problems.

3. Intimacy with Jesus.
III. Perfect= God will make us all He wants us to be.
IV. Establish= God will make us steady and dependable.
V. Strengthen= With His own strength.
VI. Settle= Make us firm in the face of adversity and difficulty.
VII. God equips those he calls.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
"No weapon formed against us shall prosper.
