Summary: Paul the Apostle in writing to the Corinthian Church in 1 Corinthians 6 places a question before them. Six times they have been asked " Do you not know?" Let us ponder over those few points.

When there is a repetition of a particular question "Do you not know?", the clear indication is that I am supposed to be knowing something or I am supposed to be aware of certain facts or things which is very vital and beneficial not only to the Kingdom of God but to self as well. They are rather facts which I need to have a thorough knowledge in order to equip myself so that I may assess myself in the Kingdom of God as to where I stand.

1 Corinthians 6:1, Paul the Apostle is warning the Church not to go before the unrighteous to law but the saints.

Thereafter he reveals certain facts to justify his statement which actually reveals what our identity is and the place that we need to be in order to fulfil what the Lord has called us to and for. We will look into the insights as to what the Lord has in store for us.

1. DO YOU NOT KNOW that saints will judge the world?

It is very important to know that the saints of God have a special place in the sight of God. The anointed of God are highly looked upto by God because of His trust on them. There are many examples where we see God defending His Servants / Sons / Daughters. He has given a mandate to his saints and the mandate is to take care of His People, give a fair judgement, nurture them, equip them, lead them, guide them and so on. The saints will judge the world. They are the ones who will hold the authority as mentioned in the Word.

2. DO YOU NOT KNOW that we shall judge angels?

This is something that we need to understand. God has given us that position, that authority wherein we would be judging the angels. Angels are not gods. They are ministering spirits that God has given to us. They protect, they convey the message of God and so on. We have been given the privilege as saints to judge them as well.

3. DO YOU NOT KNOW that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God?

The sentence is self explanatory. We are our best judge. We know what we are both from the inside and the outside. The Bible talks about a lot of blessings to those who are righteous. At the same time the unrighteous are resticted to the Kingdom of God. We better set our lives on track. We need to get rid off of our old self and repent and set our relationship right with God. Let us shun our ungodly lives and walk towards Godliness which leads to righteousness.

4. DO YOU NOT KNOW that your bodies are members of Christ?

Every organ in my body is important. It cannot be taken casually or lightly. We need to honor our body. Every individual is important in the sight of God. Each one has different calling but the goal is the same. Dividion or disunity is not from God but from the devil. We need to understand his traits.

5. DO YOU NOT KNOW that he who is joined to a harlot is one with her?

We cannot join ourselves to a harlot because we become one in them. We cannot use our bodies as we feel like. We need to flee sexual immorality. But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Let us associate with the spirit of God and become one with Him.

6. DO YOU NOT KNOW that your body is the Temple of the HOLY SPIRIT?

This is a powerful statement and something which we must be aware of. My body is actually the Temple of the Holy Spirit who makes His dwelling in me. I am supposed to maintain my Temple each day so as to prevent certain things which do not grieve Him or make Him withdraw from our lives. The Scripture also says that we are not our own. We belong to God. We are bought with a price. It cost the Lord Jesus His life. Let us not cause anything that pollutes our bodies. Let us maintain and keep the Temples holy and acceptable to God.

God bless you abundantly !!!
