The primary calling of any believer needs to be a Worshipper. Worship is something that we could give to God. Everyone is not called for the fivefold ministry but every believer is primarily called to be that Worshipper whom God is seeking.
John 4:23-24, the Lord Jesus Christ states that the Father is seeking for Worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. Many people miss out on the simple understanding of this Scripture. It says that the Father is seeking which means that the Father is literally searching for true Worshippers.
A true Worshipper pays a price. He doesn't depend upon his own self but God. He pays the price of denying himself in order to become that Worshipper.
There is a difference between praise and worship. Praise is something that we give to God for that which He has done for us. Worship is telling Him what He means to you, how important He is to you, expressing our love for Him. People mess up with the entire system because of lack of knowledge. During praise they worship and during worship they pray. The Kingdom of God works in a very orderly way.
I always urge people to prepare themselves before they come to worship God. Giving the best Worship can change our identity as well as our destiny.
Worshipping God is a privilege. It is all about telling Him how much He means to us, telling them that He is our priority. The Bible says that the dead not praise the Lord nor anyone who goes down to the grave. Coming on time to the House of God is a very vital quality that every individual should have. He deserves the best Worship.
Posture of Worship. There is no particular Scripture which talks about a strict process of Worship. Some people stand during worship. Some people sit. Some people cry. Some people smile. Some people kneel. Some people involve etc etc. Nevertheless, whatever we do we have to determine reverence for God and His Presence. Romans 12:1, Paul the Apostle urges the Roman Church to offer their bodies as living sacrifices because it determined spiritual act of worship. However we are it should only cause reverence and honor for the Presence of God.
Some people are addicted to coming late to the House of God. Some people think that Praise and worship is for the people to come late to the House of God. It is very disappointing.
David being a king crossed all barriers when it came to worshipping God. He did not even bother his position nor anyone even his own wife when he worshipped God. His wife Michal despised him yet he still worshipped God. He was a God pleaser.
Dear people of God, let us give the best Praise and worship to God. Let us not hold back. If we worship the Lord in Spirit and truth we are identified by Him as those are the ones He is seeking.
