SECURING DIVINE HELP THROUGH GODLY COUNSEL

Godly counsel is an essential key to unlocking divine assistance and navigating life’s challenges successfully. Many believers face unnecessary struggles due to pride, stubbornness, or the refusal to seek wise advice. Without counsel, even the most talented or anointed individuals can falter.
Seeking and submitting to godly counsel is an act of humility that honours God. Counsel guides believers through difficult decisions, protects against traps, and aligns them with God’s purpose. The Bible consistently demonstrates that those who accept guidance prosper, while those who reject it face setbacks.
This message highlights the importance of godly counsel, revealing how it secures divine help, ensures safety, and facilitates supernatural results in every area of life.
1. RECOGNISE THE VALUE OF GODLY COUNSEL
Divine help is often mediated through wise advisors who discern God’s direction.

2. SEEK COUNSEL FROM THE RIGHT SOURCES
The effectiveness of counsel depends on the character, wisdom, and spiritual alignment of the adviser.
a) Choose Spirit-Led Advisors — Proverbs 12:15
Avoid worldly advice; select those guided by the Spirit and grounded in Scripture.
b) Ensure Integrity and Experience — 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Godly counsellors demonstrate wisdom through character, experience, and knowledge of God’s Word.

3. APPLY COUNSEL WITH OBEDIENCE
