SECURING DIVINE HELP THROUGH MEEKNESS AND TEACHABILITY

INTRODUCTION:
Meekness and teachability are foundational qualities for every believer who desires divine assistance. A meek heart is not weak; it is responsive, humble, and willing to submit to God’s direction. Those who resist correction or insist on their own ways often block the flow of divine help in their lives.
In a world filled with pride and self-reliance, God elevates those who are willing to learn and receive instruction. Teachability opens the door to wisdom, revelation, and supernatural favour, while meekness positions the believer to receive guidance from God and from spiritually mature individuals.
This message reveals the power of meekness and teachability in securing divine help, showing how submission, humility, and willingness to learn align the believer with God’s supernatural assistance and blessing.
1. EMBRACE HUMILITY TO RECEIVE DIVINE HELP
Humility is the key that opens the heart to God’s guidance and the assistance of others. Pride often hinders divine intervention.
a) God Elevates the Humble — James 4:6
Those who humble themselves before God attract His attention and favour, positioning themselves to receive help beyond human ability.
b) Humility Facilitates Learning — Proverbs 9:9
A humble heart readily accepts correction, wisdom, and instruction from God and godly mentors.

2. DEVELOP A TEACHABLE SPIRIT
A teachable spirit enables believers to learn from experiences, correction, and guidance, unlocking supernatural help.

Those who accept correction grow faster and experience less delay in God’s plan.
b) Learn from Spiritual Mentors — 2 Timothy 2:2
God often channels His help through experienced, mature believers who guide and mentor the teachable.

3. MEKNESS IN INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS
Meekness in relationships preserves divine help and builds spiritual alliances.

Meekness promotes peace and cooperation, enabling the flow of help from others.

4. ALIGN TEACHABILITY AND HUMILITY WITH PRAYER
Meekness and teachability work in tandem with prayer to unlock divine help.

A humble, teachable heart allows God to correct and guide through prayer.

Constant communion with God sensitises the believer to instruction and divine help.

Combining prayer with a teachable spirit ensures that guidance is implemented effectively.
