JOINED BY GOD, DESTINED TO FLOURISH”
Psalm 128:1–4
1 Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him.
2 You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
within your house;
your children will be like olive shoots
around your table.
4 Yes, this will be the blessing
for the man who fears the Lord.

Today we are not only celebrating a betrothal, we are celebrating a divine joining.
When God joins two lives, He does not join them to struggle alone, but to flourish together.

1. JOINED BY GOD, NOT BY CHANCE
Genesis 2:22
The Bible says God Himself brought Eve to Adam.
Marriage begins not in human effort, but in divine intention.
Families may agree, and hearts may choose, but God is the One who joins.
👉 What God joins, He blesses.
👉 What God blesses, will flourish.

2. START FLOURISHING WITH FEARING THE LORD
Psalm 128:1
The Psalm begins with a promise:
“Blessed are all who fear the Lord.”
To fear the Lord is to:
Honor God in decisions
Invite Him into daily life
Walk in obedience
Flourishing does not begin after marriage— it begins now, by walking with God together.
3. GOD WILL BLESSES THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS
Psalm 128:2
“You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.”
God promises:
Stability in provision
Satisfaction in work
Joy in effort
When God is honored,
He blesses not only the home but also the labor that supports it.
A HOME FILLED WITH LIFE AND JOY
Psalm 128:3
“Your wife will be like a fruitful vine… your children like olive shoots.”
Fruitfulness
Growth
Joyful family life
A home where God is honored
becomes a place of peace, laughter, and life.
