OPENING SCRIPTURE
“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.”

INTRODUCTION – THIS NIGHT IS NOT ORDINARY
Beloved, tonight is not just the end of a calendar year. It is a spiritual border, a divine checkpoint, and a prophetic gate.
Not everything that followed you this year is permitted to follow you into the next.
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1
Some seasons do not end by time; they end by authority.
Tonight, we are not crossing casually. We are crossing intentionally, prophetically, and violently.
🕊? PART ONE – THE MYSTERY OF GATES AND YEARS
The Bible reveals that years are gated.
Years have gates
Months have doors
Days have keys
Nights have altars
In Hebrew, the word for gate is “Sha’ar” — a place of authorization, access, and decision.
In Greek, the word “Thura” means a door of divine permission and opportunity.
“These are the words of Him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What He opens no one can shut.”
— Revelation 3:7
If you do not address the gate, the year will decide for you.
PART TWO – WHAT FOLLOWS A MAN DECIDES HIS YEAR
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.”
— Psalm 23:6
The real question tonight is not what you are entering, but what is entering with you.
1?? MERCY OR JUDGMENT
Whatever follows you determines how the year responds to you.
“A land which the Lord your God cares for.”
— Deuteronomy 11:12
2?? WORDS OR WOUNDS
Words spoken over your life wait at gates.
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn.”
— Isaiah 54:17
Every word not planted by God expires tonight.
3?? ALTARS OR ANOINTING
“There shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water.”
— Luke 22:10
Something always meets you at a gate — either helpers or hindrances.
4?? PURPOSE OR PATTERNS
“Remember not the former things… behold, I do a new thing.”
— Isaiah 43:18–19
You cannot enter a new year with old cycles.
PART THREE – PROPHETIC CONFRONTATION
This is the night to evict the old year.
“You crown the year with Your goodness.”
— Psalm 65:11
God does not decorate years — He crowns them.
Tonight, we declare:
Every carryover battle ends here
Every delayed testimony manifests
Every closed door opens
Every pattern of loss breaks
