DELIVERANCE FROM GRAVEYARD BONDAGE
Study Text: Luke 8:26–36
Introduction:
- Graveyards represent the finality of death, silence, captivity, and hopelessness.
- In the spirit realm, graveyard bondage speaks of forces of death operating in the lives of the living: destiny buried, joy buried, marriage buried, finances buried, health buried, and spiritual fire buried.
Today, the Lord sent me with a word: “Anything that tied you to the grave is breaking NOW!”
1. The Portrait of Graveyard Bondage
- What is Graveyard Bondage?
- Graveyard bondage is satanic captivity where a living person is spiritually associated with death, loss, stagnation, and ancestral covenants.
- Manifestations include:
1. Constant dreams of cemeteries, dead relatives, coffins
2. Repeated losses and sudden reversals
3. Cycles of failure and near-success syndrome
4. Unexplainable sicknesses and afflictions
4. Delay in marriage, in bearing children, in making progress and having breakthroughs.
5. Living without joy, purpose, or spiritual sensitivity
- If you are alive but your destiny is treated like a corpse, that is graveyard bondage.
2. The Powers behind Graveyard Bondage
1. The Power of Death
- Death is not just an event; it is a spirit.
Revelation 6:8 – “And his name that sat on him was Death.”
2. Ancestral Covenants and Altars
- Many graveyard bondages are sustained by:
Family burial rituals, Bloodline covenants, Dedications made before birth, Occult or idolatrous foundations
3. Territorial Spirits
- Certain locations and foundations are spiritually polluted, especially:
Ancestral lands, Former shrines, Burial grounds
- Where there is no deliverance, generations remain prisoners.
The Power that Destroys Graveyard Bondage
1. The Power of the Presence of Jesus
- The man lived among tombs, but one encounter with Jesus changed everything.
- It doesn’t matter how long the bondage has lasted, Jesus has just arrived!
2. The Power of Authority
- Jesus did not negotiate with demons.
“Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit!”
- Deliverance is enforced by authority, not sympathy.
3. The Process of Total Deliverance from Graveyard Bondage
1. Exposure of the Enemy
- Jesus asked, “What is thy name?”
Darkness loses power when it is exposed.
2. Displacement of Spirits
- Demons must leave and relocate, they cannot stay where Christ reigns.
3. Destruction of the Legal Ground
Colossians 2:14–15
- Jesus blotted out every handwriting against us.
- No grave has legal right over a redeemed life!
- What are the evidence of deliverance from Graveyard Bondage?
-After deliverance, the man was:
1. Sitting – Stability restored
2. Clothed – Shame removed
3. In his right mind – Destiny restored
- Deliverance is not noise; it is transformation.
Lift your voice and declare:
1. Every power tying my destiny to the grave—BREAK NOW!
2. Every ancestral covenant with death—by the Blood of Jesus, I AM FREE!
3. Every coffin prepared for my glory—CATCH FIRE!
4. I disconnect my name from any graveyard register!
5. I receive life, restoration, and divine acceleration!
6. From today, I move from the tomb to the throne!
conclusion:
John 11:44 – “Loose him, and let him go.”
- Tonight, heaven is issuing a divine command:
LOOSE THEM!
You will no longer live among tombs.Your destiny resurrected.
Your testimony begins NOW.
