INTRODUCTION
December is a prophetic month where God brings the labours, struggles, and efforts of the year to a fruitful conclusion. Every effort that was in line with His will will come to completion, while every delay and setback will receive divine intervention. Celebration is the natural outcome of completion, and God desires His children to end the year in joy and thanksgiving.
Life has seasons of planting, watering, and waiting. Some things planted at the beginning of the year have not yet manifested, but God assures us that every seed sown in faith will produce fruit in its season. December is the appointed month for manifestation; it is the month where prayers, promises, and hard work culminate in visible results.
God also calls His people to celebrate. Celebration is a recognition of His faithfulness, a testimony of His goodness, and a declaration of victory over every challenge faced. In December, as you acknowledge what God has done, you position yourself for supernatural overflow, divine satisfaction, and testimony that will carry into the new year.
1. COMPLETION IN YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE
God desires to perfect His work in you before the year ends. Spiritual completion brings peace, direction, and readiness for the new season.
a) Completion in faith (Hebrews 12:1-2)
Let go of spiritual weariness and fix your eyes on Jesus, who perfects your faith and brings every spiritual battle to victory.
b) Completion in prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
God honours persistent and consistent prayer. Every prayer left unanswered will see manifestation in this month.
c) Completion in obedience (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)
Aligning with God’s commands ensures blessings come to full maturity; unfinished obedience is completed by His grace.
d) Completion in fellowship (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Reconnect, reconcile, and strengthen relationships within the body of Christ to finish the year in unity and love.
Biblical Example: Nehemiah completed the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls after much opposition and opposition, celebrating with joy and thanksgiving (Nehemiah 12:27-43).
2. COMPLETION IN YOUR FINANCES AND PROVISION
God wants you to finish the year strong financially, settling debts and entering the new year without lack.
a) Completion through stewardship (Malachi 3:10)
Honouring God with your tithes and offerings ensures the release of blessings and abundance.
b) Completion through debt cancellation (Romans 13:8)
Settle all debts and obligations; God honours those who are responsible and disciplined in their finances.
c) Completion through supernatural increase (Deuteronomy 28:12)
God releases provision that exceeds expectation and positions you for the new year.
d) Completion through divine contracts and promotions (Psalm 75:6-7)
Opportunities and promotions that were delayed will manifest, giving you financial stability and honour.
Biblical Example: Joseph completed his financial assignment in Egypt, bringing provision and survival to an entire nation (Genesis 41:46-57).
3. COMPLETION IN RELATIONSHIPS AND FAMILY
God desires reconciliation, unity, and restoration in your relationships before the year closes.
a) Completion through forgiveness (Colossians 3:13)
Release all grudges and resentments to experience peace and restoration.
b) Completion through reconciliation (Matthew 5:23-24)
Restore broken relationships to prevent lingering regrets and spiritual hindrance.
c) Completion through blessing and honour (Proverbs 16:7)
Speak blessings and gratitude to those around you, inviting favour and grace into your family.
d) Completion through divine protection (Psalm 91:11)
God preserves families from evil and ensures that every household experiences peace and celebration.
Biblical Example: Jacob reconciled with Esau before entering the promised land, completing a season of conflict and securing peace (Genesis 33:1-11).
4. COMPLETION IN PURPOSE AND DESTINY
December is a month to step into the fullness of what God has called you to accomplish.
a) Completion in vision (Habakkuk 2:2-3)
God’s promises are on record; seeing them fulfilled completes your vision for life.
b) Completion in assignments (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Finish every task and assignment entrusted to you, leaving nothing undone.
c) Completion in personal growth (Philippians 1:6)
God is perfecting the good work He started in you, ensuring that your development aligns with His purpose.
d) Completion in testimonies (Psalm 126:5-6)
Your life shall overflow with visible testimonies, causing praise and worship to abound.
Biblical Example: Nehemiah completed the walls of Jerusalem and positioned the people for divine blessings, celebration, and protection (Nehemiah 12:44-47).
CONCLUSION
December is a prophetic month for completion and celebration. God has ordained that every unfinished work, delayed blessing, or unresolved issue will see closure. As you obey, pray, and trust Him, He will perfect every area of your life and bring you into a season of joy, gratitude, and manifestation.
Celebrate every victory, acknowledge God’s faithfulness, and step confidently into the new year. Finishing well is not only about completion but also about positioning for greater glory, favour, and testimony in the coming season.
