Summary: In an encounter or visitation of God, only the crucified nature of Christ is that which changes (or transforms you) and has a lasting impact on you. Everything else in the visitation will fade, like cloud, or angels.

Every time you encounter God, you will receive a fresh revelation of Jesus Christ. When Isaish had an encounter with God in Isaiah 6, the seraphim gave Isaiah a live coal. This live coal is taken from heaven’s altar where Jesus was crucified from eternity past to future. This coal represents a burning/blazing revelation of the Crucified Christ (which was burning for so many years and so rich in knowledge) that was imparted to Isaiah. After Isaiah chapter 6, Isaiah mainly talks about the Crucified nature of Christ like Jesus is Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14), Jesus the Suffering Saviour (Isaiah 53), Jesus the great light (Isaiah 9:2), and so forth.

In Ezekiel1, Ezekiel saw the likeness of man on the throne, He saw Jesus on the throne. After this encounter, he displayed the crucified nature in his life by bearing the sins of Israel and Judah for many days. In an encounter or visitation of God, only the crucified nature of Christ is that which changes (or transforms you) and has a lasting impact on you. Everything else in the visitation will fade, like cloud, or angels, but the revelation of Jesus Christ will transform you and lasts for a very long time.

These days people talk a lot about their encounters with God, but they have only external glory like Angels, clouds or earthly related things, but there is no revelation of crucified Christ. Cross of Jesus is missing in these encounters. As crucified nature is not present, crucified nature is not displayed in their lives.

The Patriarchs in the Bible, after every encounter with God, they displayed the crucified nature in their lives. There was a visible and evident change in their lives. In every encounter, they received a fresh revelation of Jesus, and this revelation changed them, and caused them to display a crucified nature in their lives. The revelation of Jesus changed and transformed their lives.

These days people talk a lot about their encounters with God, but there is no evident display of crucified nature in their lives. There is no change in their lives as a result of the encounter. Be careful with such people or prophets. They can be like Balaam, who led Israelites into sin and inciting God’s great anger to come upon them. A genuine encounter with God will surely impart a fresh revelation of Crucified Christ.

Be careful of encounters with God which does not have any revelation of crucified Christ. After you encounter God, always check is there a change (visible or spiritual) in you. Is there a desire to live a Holy Crucified life or not? No matter how great your encounter with God is, only the revelation of Jesus in that encounter has lasting permanent impact on you and everything else will fade.
