Summary: A new Heaven and new earth

Event 135 - The Throne of David will be re-established in Jerusalem. “David My servant shall be king over them, and they shall all have one shepherd; they shall also walk in My judgments and observe My statutes, and do them,” Ezekiel 37:24.

Event 136 - The King of Kings will receive His kingdom. “I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair on His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;” Daniel 7:9.

Event 137 - Jesus will sit on the throne of David. “And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end,” Luke 1:33.

Event 138 - David will rule as a vice-regent. “Then they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, where your fathers dwelt; and they shall dwell there, they, their children, and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David shall be their prince forever,” Ezekiel 37:25.

Event 139 - The apostles will rule the twelve tribes of Israel under David. “So Jesus said unto them, ‘Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel,” Matthew 19:28.

Event 140 - Others will be appointed and given spheres of influence. “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them . . . and they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years,” Revelation 20:4.

Event 141 - The kingdom will last a thousand years. “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years,” Rev. 20:6.

Event 142 - The church will reign with Christ during this period. “And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth,” Revelation 5:10.

Event 143 - No one will die during the duration of this kingdom. “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed,” Isaiah 65:20.

Event 144 - Children will be born during the kingdom (Ezek. 47:22)

Event 145 - People will be engaged in meaningful work during the kingdom age (Isa. 62:8, 9; 65:21-23; Ezek. 48:18-19).

Event 146 - The topography of Israel will be changed to include a new river (Ezek. 47:1-12), a new land (Ezek. 47:13-14) and a new city (Ezek. 48:15-20).

Event 147 - A new much larger temple will be built during the millennium (Ezek. 43:1-17).

Event 148 - Memorial sacrifices will be offered in the temple. “And He said to me, ‘Son of man, thus says the Lord God: ‘These are the ordinances for the altar on the day when it is made, for sacrificing burnt offerings on it, and for sprinkling blood on it,’” Ezekiel 43:18.

Event 149 - The Shekinah cloud will return to this temple (Ezek. 43:1-5).

Event 150 - A river will flow out from the new temple. “And in that day it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and half of them toward the western sea; in both summer and winter it shall occur,” Zechariah 14:8.

Event 151 - There will be an increase in solar light and prosperity. “Your sun shall no longer go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself; for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended,” Isaiah 60:20.

Event 152 - The world will speak a universal language. “Thus saith the Lord of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you,’” Zechariah 8:23.

Event 153 - The religious calendar of Israel will once again be observed and the feasts of Israel will be kept (Ezek. 45:18-25).

Event 154 - At the end of the thousand years, Satan will be loosed briefly. “Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison,” Revelation 20:7.

Event 155 - Satan will be allowed to tempt people to rebel against the rule of Jesus Christ.

Event 156 - Those living in peace but not believers in Christ will gather in battle against Him. “They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city,” Revelation 20:9.

Event 157 - Those who challenge the peace of the kingdom will be destroyed by the fire of God.

“And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them,” Revelation 20:9.

Event 158 - Satan will be captured and cast into the lake of fire.“And the devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever,” Revelation 20:10.

Event 159 - All the unsaved dead will be brought before the Great White Throne to be judged.

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them,” Revelation 20:11.

Event 160 - Everyone who is presently in hell will be cast into the lake of fire. “Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death,” Revelation 20:14.

Event 161 - All whose names are not recorded in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire,” Revelation 20:15.

Event 162 - The book of works will determine the severity of punishment.

“And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books,” Revelation 20:12.

Event 163 - There will be a new heaven and a new earth established to replace the former heaven and earth. “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations,” Revelation 22:1-2.

If you have never really accepted Jesus as your personal Savior, would you do it right now? Do not delay or put it off. If you would like to receive Christ by faith, pray this simple prayer in your heart:

Dear Lord, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for my sins on the cross, and rose again the third day. I repent of my sins. By faith I receive the Lord Jesus as my Savior. You promised to save me, and I believe You, because You are God and cannot lie. I believe right now that the Lord Jesus is my personal Savior, and that all my sins are forgiven through His precious blood. I thank You, dear Lord, for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, God heard you and saved you. I personally want to welcome you to the family of God and rejoice with you.
