Graveside Message for Jean Wells
1. Today we gather in love and reverence to honor the life of Jean Wells—
• I believe jean was a woman whose faith was her compass, her guide in life.
• I believe her kindness was her legacy, and whose quiet strength touched everyone she met.
2. Psalm 23 reminds us:
• “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.”
• Jean lived this truth. I get the feeling through every season of life, she trusted in God’s care.
• God led her beside still waters, restored her soul, and walked with her through valleys and victories alike.
3. Even in her final days, Jean feared no evil—for she knew her Shepherd was near.
• And now, she has entered the eternal green pastures of His presence.
• Her journey on earth is complete, but her story of faith continues in each of you who were blessed to know her.
4. Finally, Though our hearts grieve, we take comfort in this promise:
• “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
• Jean is home. And she is at peace.
• Family may each of us carry her legacy forward—with grace, with love, and with the same unwavering trust in God that she lived so beautifully.
5. God gave us the jewel, this treasure, this peach, this pearl of great price, and now it time to give this jewel, this treasure, this peach , this pearl of great price, this friend, this mother grandmother back to God and say thank you. Now our closing benediction will be given by Rev. Andrew Maynor
