It is so easy to talk about God's love, it's like no other, from everlasting to everlasting, new every morning and nothing can separate us from God's love.
Our love is usually conditional, we give as good as we get, we love those who are nice to us or just nice in general. It's a natural re-action to love the lovely. However, according to the Bible how should we love others. Here's an outline to discuss how to love God's way.
What is Love?
1 Corinthians 13 is a well known scripture that describes Love in a way that the world's dictionary's will never describe, the famous love songs will never express and humankind will always strive to attain.
Why should we love?
John 13:34-35 Jesus commanded it. If we could love each other then we would automatically live a Christ-like life and fulfilling most of the commandments. We would automatically live a more fulfilling life because perfect love casts out fear and hate.
How to love?
Romans 12:9-21 When we love others without false pretense and genuine affection then we will conquer evil with good. If we have fear and hate in us then we will allow evil to conquer us. So do what is right and take every opportunity to do something good and show your love by your actions. This way you will break the downward cyclone of hate and rise up above to the greater heights of unfailing love.
