Opening: - For far too long we have as black people (a term that by the end of this lesson I may not use, and you may choose not to use anymore) have been lied to, left out, belittled, tricked, bamboozled, made to feel insignificant, worthless, useless, and cursed by God with blackness. That’s not a racial proclamation it is the unadulterated truth. When your lineage has been erased and rewritten, rehappened, reformed, and restructured in such a way that you don’t know who you are and when you don’t understand who you then you will try to assimilate to what others think you ought to believe you to do or condition you to do, that’s why you see so many black guys with their pants hanging down below their buttocks because they don’t understand who they are trying to be gang bangers, thugs, pimps, rappers, our young women walking around dressing like street walkers, everything about them is fake from the eye lashes, hair, finger nails, etc. because society has said and structured them to believe that this is your culture so they try to assimilate to that because they don’t know who they really are. You must understand that the powers that are controlling the media outlets, the television programs, the music industry are setting the standard for the culture and saying this is how you are supposed to act, dress, walk, talk and our society tries to assimilate to that and the society has a whole believes that is they way we are suppose to be and that becomes the norm. Now this is not just a singer or rapper acting or dressing a certain way, but this is big money and a Satanic agenda that is working to erase the identity of who we are. It has been called the illuminati, the Satanic bloodline, and many conspiracy theory names but through this lesson I will show you with unadulterated scripture the truth.
Let me go a little deeper with this Satanic agenda when you don’t understand who you are you find yourself trying to serve a white skinned, blonde hair, blue eyed, feminine looking, Jesus, who looks like the poster boy for a Vidal Sassoon commercial believing some syrup sugary promise that he will set you free when you die even though Jesus said he came that you may have life and have it more abundantly John 10:10, because the slave master, colonizers, and oppressors taught that through the slave Bible that had no mention of Moses and how he led the Children of Israel out of Egypt, didn’t have the book of Jeremiah, only contain 14 books total, but mentioned how you are to obey those that have rule over you and that you must submit yourself to the will and whims of the slave owners and everyone that was superior to you or you will burn in hell when you had been taken from your family but in chains, whipped, raped, emasculated, assaulted, plundered, abused, mistreated already now threatened with Hell on top of that it scared you for sure. Now like Florida Evans on Good Times because you don’t understand who you are say that is the only Jesus my grandmama and mama knew and that is good enough for me.
I know I messed with your theology, I know some may be think Bishop has lost it and has gone off the deep end, NO just bringing the TRUTH, but let’s go a little deeper still because we are going to learn who we really are.
When you don’t understand who you are you find yourself facing a certain direction several times a day praying to a stone that can’t hear, see, or speak praying in a language that is not yours trying to assimilate into a worship experience calling yourself a Muslim because you don’t understand who you are. WATCH THIS: - Deuteronomy 28:64 says, “And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other, and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone”. Let me mess with you a little bit that is the Catholic and Muslim religions in case you may be wondering.
Then you have those that go to the other extreme like the Hebrew Israelites that get a little understanding and think pedigree or connectivity gives them exclusive rights and privileges failing to understand “Teshuvah” repentance and most of all GRACE. You must understand that Jesus came and died for all mankind and because of His grace trough repentance that we are saved and not by anything we have done or who we are. If you stick with me through this lesson I will bring this out in detail through the scriptures.
When you understand who you are when you know and understand your true identity then you are able to go from trying to assimilate with something and move into worshipping God in spirit and truth based upon truth and relationship and not ritualistic habits. John 4:24 says, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.
Question: - What is TRUTH? John17:17 which is actually the Lord’s prayer because this is Jesus praying for the disciple and all future disciples says, “Sanctify them through thy truth; thy word is truth”. The Hebrew word “Emet” – Faith/Faithfulness is also translated Truth/Amen which means that’s the truth. Emet (truth) doesn’t fear investigation, truth doesn’t fear alternative viewpoints, truth emerges, stands strong, shines bright, and is valiant when honest “baqash” - seekers are willing to follow the evidence wherever it will lead even if it challenges comfortable assumptions and traditional beliefs. Questioning truth does not invalidate truth, neither does acknowledging truth critiques dismiss its evidence. You must understand that a lie cannot live forever, but truth crushed to earth will rise again and although rarely found in absolute position or definite places it is found with careful examinations of complex evidence. Remember Proverbs 25:2 says, “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter” also in John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”.
The Hebrew word “Gala” means to reveal/uncover it is my desire to reveal/uncover some things rightly dividing the word of truth with “Rachamim” compassion. I do not consider myself an expert on any topic, I study and research and most of the information I will present in this lesson is from people I have studied that have done extensive research and can be found with just a simple google search. I am a preacher and teacher of the Word of God that believes in Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth and that is what I am doing in this lesson.
As I move forward with this lesson, I want to establish another fact and that is Racism. I am not promoting racism in any form or fashion I am against racism totally, but so many times when you present TRUTH in its purest form people will call it racist, prejudice, hate when all it really is is ignorance to the truth. I encourage you to have an open mind and be willing to listen and search for yourself the information that will be presented in the lesson.
Racism according to the dictionary is prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized: the belief that a different race(s) possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another.

I titled this lesson Understanding Who You Are – Your Identity in God!
The Issue: - We as Black people, African Americans, Negros don’t understand who we are because we have no real clue of our heritage, our lineage, where we come from. We have been taught that we come from savages, you are lost, that we started from chains instead of crowns, we are confused, bewildered, perplexed, and messed up and assimilated into a classification based upon a color and that is the trained mental thought given to us by men of this world used by Satan to manipulate us control us and cause us to miss out on the promise that God truly has for us. Every other nationality of people know and understand their heritage and culture, the Chinese can trace their heritage back 5000 years, Irish can trace their culture back to the 7th century or earlier, English can trace their culture back 1500 years, Mongolians can trace their heritage back 3000 years, but for the Blacks and let me be clear on this the so-called African Americans can only trace the heritage back to slavery time, chains, beatings, rapes, being sold, emasculated, whipped, abused, manipulated, treated less than humane, forced to be separated from our families, our names changed, our identities taken, our language stolen, our religion changed, it was a purposely and consciously effort to erase our heritage from us throughout the generations and the reason why so we would not remember who we are. We were forced us to learn a new language and changed our names giving us a new name, remember the scene in Roots when they beat Kunta Kenta and forced him to call himself Toby he was beaten in front of all the slaves and made to say his name was Toby loud enough so everyone could hear him and realize and fear to call themselves anything other than the name the slave owners gave them forcing them to forget their identity then making us serve other gods fulfilling the curses of Deuteronomy 28, erasing our identity, our heritage, being told we just come from Africa and trying to bury what literally terrifies them and that is understanding who you really are.

Now I want to point this out because this is very interesting and I will come back to it and break it down thoroughly but in 1972 Muhamed Ali corrected an interviewer who called him a Negro Boy growing up, Muhamed Ali said he is a black male there is no country called Negro. Japanese are named after the country Japan, Chinese are name after the country China Germans are named after the country Germany but there is no Negro country. Remember that because that is going to be important.
Now I must establish this here because this truly becomes a topic of confusion and misunderstanding in the church basically due to poor theology and that is the color of Noah and his sons. In order to explain the variations in skin color among the nations of the world today, many have said that Noah’s three sons were three different colors: Ham being dark-skinned, Shem being medium-skinned, and Japeth being light-skinned. From there, as it is supposed, the Hamites produced the “blacks”, the Japhethites produced the “whites”, and Shemites produced the “in-betweens”. While it may seem likely to many, this theory is really the result of poor and lazy biblical theology and historical scholarship. In order for this to be true, Ham would have had to produce all “black” children who did not mix with Japheth’s “white” children or Shem’s “in-between” children, Shem would have had all “in-between” children who did not mix with Ham’s “black” children and Japheth’s “white” children, and Japheth would have had all “white” children who did not mix with Ham’s “black” children and Shem’s “in-between” children and all of that is just craziness. Another thing to understand is that the Bible says in Genesis 11:6 “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”. The people is one so often we get stuck on they all had the same mindset, but being a child of the sixties, I remember the Patty Duke show and the theme song said, “they walk alike, talk alike, laugh alike but they’re cousins”. Although it was 339 years from the time, they exited the ark to the Tower of Babel they were one people there wasn’t a major difference other than some lighter or darker shades of brown, no classification of race, tribes, nationalities, ethnicities or anything like that at all they were one people. So, although no Biblical proof either way common sense lets you that they intermingled.
Last year I went home my brother is the pastor of the church my father pastored for years; there is this little boy there about 10 years old he walked up to me and said you look like Pastor Mike I said he is my brother he said but you are light. Now my brother is not dark skinned but he is browner than I am, and my other brother Mark is browner than both of us and we all come from the same mother and father. The point I am trying to make is that we are all different shades of BROWN. Jane Elliott, Anti-Discrimination Educator & Diversity Trainer; Creator of the "Blue Eyes–Brown Eyes" Exercise, teaches this so very well and I encourage you to google her and study her teachings and experiments on the subject she is truly an expert.
Ok to Noah. We know Noah had 3 son Genesis 5:32 says “And Noah was five hundred years old; and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 6:10 says, “And Noah begat three son Shem, Ham Japheth”. I am not going to debate which was older or anything in this lesson, but it is from these 3 sons and their wives that the entire earth was repopulated after the flood. Every nationality of people came from these 3 guys right here. Understand that down through history the world was not divided by skin color people were not separated by the term Negro or Caucasian, people were identified by their tribal names like Egyptians, Persians, Jews, Greek, Saxons, Ethiopians, and so on, but only after the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11. It wasn’t until the 15th 16th century known as the Renaissance Period when the Europeans with their intellectual basis was founded in Roman humanism and Classical Greek Philosophy like that of Protagoras who said man is the measure of all things and is the foundation of white supremacy, racism, and elitism. It is during the Renaissance Period when the White-Washing of scripture took on major changes. Artist like Michaelangelo, DaVinci and others began to paint the figures of the Bible to resemble the European figures that ruled the world, the conquerors like Alexander the Great, Mark Anthony and Cleopatra are now being portrayed as White people ruling in Africa, the letter J develops and is introduced into our language and the name of our Lord changes to Jesus from Yahuwah, this was a period of great change and racism was the mindset and doctrine that made this country and its people think they were superior to all.
People like Johann F. Blumenbach a German Anthropologist 1752 -1840 become very influential and is the 1st to divide the races based upon skin color. There was this concept of scientific racism which stated racial and ethnic groups have innately differing levels of physical, intellectual, and moral development that distinguish them as superior or inferior. So, he didn’t create racism, but he formed the classification system that is still used to manipulate us today. Understand an official classification of people did not exist before him. He classified that there are five chief races of mankind Malayan, Ethiopian, American, Mongolian, and Caucasian he coined the term Caucasian because he believed that Caucasus region of Asia Minor produced the most beautiful race of men. He was a protestant Christian born of a wealthy family that started and pushed slavery and racism. In short this is what Hitler was doing and is the premise with World War II.
I said that to say this is the same racist mentality that started slavery, that has pushed a white-washed Christianity, that has suppressed our history, stolen our heritage, robbed us of our identity, told us we came from the bottom knowing we were the top of civilization, making us believe that we come from chain when we come from crowns, fearing that if we ever understand who we are and who we are in God that things will be different.
