27 Why do you say, O Jacob, And speak, O Israel: “My way is hidden from the LORD, And my just claim is passed over by my God”?
28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Hold On…Help Is On The Way…
PRAY…
We are living in a time when people are overwhelmed, burdened, and tired of holding on. Some are smiling on the outside but breaking on the inside. They feel stretched to their limits—physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. The storm has lasted longer than they thought it would. The night has felt darker than they imagined. And the silence of God in their situation has made them wonder, “Lord, where are You?” But I came to tell somebody today: Hold on — help is on the way!
Have you ever been in a place…
Where you felt like giving up?...
When the weight was too much…
The night too long…The silence from heaven…Too loud?...
Maybe you’ve been there…Or maybe you’re there right now…
Tired in your body…Weary in your soul…
Waiting for something…Anything…To change…
The money’s short…The pain is real......
The prayers feel unanswered…
And life keeps asking more of you…
Than you feel you have to give...
But I came to tell somebody today…
Don’t give up...Don’t give in…And Don’t throw in the towel...
Because the God…Who made you…The God…Who saved you…
And the God who sees you…
Has a message for your heart this morning…
“HOLD ON…HELP IS ON THE WAY!”
The enemy wants you to believe…That you’ve been forgotten…
But the truth is…You are being formed in the fire…
And…Not forsaken in the fight…
God doesn’t grow eagles in easy places…
He develops them in the wind…In the storm…And in the sky…
Today’s Word from Isaiah 40 reminds us…
That the God we serve never sleeps…
Never slumbers…And never runs out of strength…
And if you’re willing to wait on Him…
If you’re willing to trust even when it doesn’t make sense…
He promises to renew your strength…
To lift you up like wings on an eagle…
And to help you run without growing weary….
We gotta just HOLD ON…
KNOWING OUR HELP IS ON THE WAY…
For the first time…A young boy went swimming…
In the deep end of a pool…
This was…His first time…
He though…He was ready…But soon found himself…Sinking...
He began to splash wildly…Flapping his arms…Crying for help...
A trained lifeguard…Sat just…A few feet away…Watching…
Parents on the poolside screamed… “Jump in!... Save him!”…
But the lifeguard didn’t move…He waited…
The boy continued to fight…And thrashing around…
Kicking until he had…No more strength…
And just when he began to sink silently…Beneath the water…
The lifeguard dove in…And pulled him out…With ease…
Afterward…One angry onlooker asked the lifeguard…
“Why did you wait so long?...
You could’ve saved him…Sooner!”…
The lifeguard replied…
“If I had gone in while he was still fighting…
He would’ve pulled us both under…
I had to wait until he stopped struggling…
For it was only after he stopped struggling…That I could save him…
You see Church…
Sometimes we wonder…Why it is that God waits…
Why doesn’t He fix it now?...Heal it now?...Help us now?...
Like a shattered mirror…Once it’s broken…
It might reflect…But never clearly…
Some of us look in the mirror…And we see…Brokenness…
But when God steps in…He gives us a new reflection…
Not based on our past…But on His grace…
Once cracked…An egg can’t be put back…In its shell…
Some situations in our lives…
Will never go back…To the way they were…And that’s OK…
That’s Ok because God isn’t just putting you back together…
He’s making something greater…Out of the broken you…
Time…Once it’s gone…Can’t get it back…
We can’t rewind…Or redo…But we can redeem what’s ahead…
Maybe you…Like me…Lost time…Running from God…
But hold on…Because the One who holds time in His hands…
Can…And will restore purpose…To your future…
Words once spoken…
Words can’t be unsaid…They linger…They wound…And they hurt…
Perhaps you’ve been broken by words…
Or perhaps your words…Broke someone else…
But the WORD of God still heals…
It still heals and speaks life into your situation…
Some things break…And stay that way…
Like eggs…Or time…Or words…We say…
But when our strength comes to an end…
That’s when God…Becomes our friend…
He won’t just patch…He’ll make us…Brand new…
And bring back purpose…Clear and true…
But like the lifeguard…God knows exactly…When to step in...
He waits…Not because He doesn’t care…
But because we’re still trying to fix it…With our own strength...
And when we stop flailing…When we surrender…
It is then…And only then…
That He lifts us up…With ease…And splendor…
Church…When your strength is gone…
And your arms can’t fight…
That’s when God steps in…With power and might...
So hold on…Don’t give up…Don’t stray…
Your help is coming… He’s on the way!...
We live in a time of turbulence…And trial…
A world where pain is often…Hidden behind a smile…
But even when the night seems long…And the load too great…
There’s a word from the Lord…And it’s never too late!...
And that word is…Hold on…Help is on the way!...
That’s not just a phrase…That’s a promise today...
HERE’S MY FIRST POINT…
GOD KNOWS WHAT YOU’RE GOING THROUGH…
Isaiah 40:28 says…
“Have you not known?...Have you not heard?...
The everlasting God…The Lord…
The Creator…Of the ends of the earth…
Neither faints…Nor is weary…”
Church…God does not forget…He doesn’t miss a beat…
He sees you in struggle…And still calls you complete…
When you’re crying…And alone…Feeling broken and bruised…
He’s the God who shows up…Not confused…And not amused…
You may feel like nobody sees you…
But the One who made you…Knows…Everything about you...
He saw Hagar…When she fled from pain…
He saw Joseph…In the prison…Falsely chained…
He saw Ruth…When her world…Fell apart…
And He sees you too…With a Father’s heart…
When you’re weak and worn…And your path seems dim…
Don’t walk by feelings…Just trust in Him…
Though storms may rise…And clouds may stay…
Remember…Help is on the way!...
HERE’S MY SECOND POINT…
GOD GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEAK
Isaiah 40:29 says…
“He gives power to the weak…
And to those who have no might…He increases strength.”…
God is not looking for the strong to call…
He looks for the humble…The broken…And the small...
He gives power…When your tank hits “E.”…
He gives peace…In your anxiety…
Samson lost his strength…But found it once more…
David was weary…But God helped him soar…
Elijah was faint…Under the juniper tree…
But God sent an angel…And set his soul free!...
You may be tired…And feeling small…
But God won’t let you…Lose it all…
When you are weak…He makes you bold…
His strength is more…Than stories told!...
So stand back up…and don’t run away…
Your midnight’s just…A breath from day!...
My 3rd POINT…Is This…
WAITING IS NOT WASTING
Isaiah 40:31a says…
“But those who WAIT on the Lord…Shall renew their strength…”
See…Waiting is never easy…But it is always meaningful…
When your trust…Is in God…
Let’s be honest…We don’t like to wait...
We want the miracle today...The door to open now...
But God doesn’t work on our calendar…
He works on His perfect clock...
God is not only the Alpha…And Omega...
He’s the Author of our process…
And the Finisher…Of our faith…
To wait on God…Is not to waste time…
It’s to TRUST Him…Even when the sun won’t shine…
IT’s to BELIEVE…Even when the answer Is wait…
It’s to STAND FIRM…Even when the ground shakes…
It’s to WALK FORWARD…Even when the path disappears…
It’s to HOLD ON…Even when your hands are tired…
It’s to WORSHIP…Even when your world is breaking…
It’s to HOPE…Even when your heart is heavy…
It’s to OBEY…Even when it doesn’t make sense…
Psalm 27:14 says…
“Wait on the Lord…Be of good courage…
And He shall strengthen your heart.”…
BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF WAITING:
Abraham Waited 25 Years…For a Promise…
God told Abraham he would be the father…Of many nations…
But it took 25 years…Before Isaac was born...
A promise made…In younger days…
Was tested…In the desert haze…
But when the time…Was fully right…
God turned the darkness…Into light.
Joseph Waited 13 Years…Through Betrayal and Prison…
Joseph dreamed of greatness…
But before the palace…Came the pit…The prison…And the pain…
From favored coat…To prison chain…
Through every trial…Loss…And pain…
He learned to trust…He learned to grow…
And soon the throne…Would overflow!...
Moses Waited 40 Years…In the Wilderness…
Moses spent 40 years as a shepherd…
Before God called him to deliver Israel…
Before He split…The mighty sea…
God taught him stillness...Quietly...
Forty years…Of desert sand…
Before he saw…God’s mighty hand...
Hannah Waited in Tears…For a Child…
In sorrow deep…She bowed and prayed…
And in God’s time…The answer stayed…
He gave her jo…And dried each tear…
Because He saw…Her faith was clear…
While you wait…God’s making a way…
Holding back trouble…Shaping your day…
You think He’s late…But He’s never behind…
He’s building you strong…In body and mind!...
So hold your place…Don’t move too fast…
His promise will come…And it will surely last!...
My fourth…And final POINT…
GOD WILL LIFT YOU UP
Isaiah 40:31(b) says…
“They shall mount up with wings like eagles…
They shall run…And not be weary…
They shall walk and not faint.”…
See Church…Eagles fly above the storm…
They don't run from it…
They spread their wings…And fly…
And when you trust in God…
You don’t crawl through life…You rise above it!...
God didn’t save you…To be grounded...
He saved you…To be soaring…
You’ve spent enough time…Walking in fear…
God wants you flying in faith…This morning…
He will lift you above discouragement… Above depression…
Above defeat… And Above what others said…You couldn’t be…
Don’t look down…Look to the skies…
Where eagles soar…And hopes arise!...
Your help comes not…From man below…
But from the Lord…Who helps you grow...
So spread your wings…Child of the King…
Rise and rejoice…It’s your time to sing!...
CLOSING DECLARATION:
Beloved…Don’t faint…Don’t fold…And Don’t flee…
God is not finished with you…Not even remotely!...
When you are tired…He will be your strength….
When you are broken…He will carry you…At length…
When you are low…He will lift you high…
When you’re about to quit…He whispers…“Try.”…
Say to yourself…
Though I’ve been weary…I will not die…
Though I’ve been low…I still will fly…
The Lord is my portion…My power…My stay…
I’m holding on…Cause…Help is on the way!...
