Summary: Because of the love that God as for us, he hides us beneath his wings.

We have a father who loves us all and cares for us as his children. There is no other Father that can love and care for us like our heavenly Father does. God is always faithful to us all, He will forever care for us all until eternity and even when we are in his presence in heaven, God is still there with us to care for us and show us his love and that love that he as for us can never dimmish. The love of God for us all is from everlasting to everlasting - Jeremiah 31:3; Romans 8: 31 - 39.

The love that He as for us causes him to hide us all under his wings, let us just imagine ourselves under his wings. Seeing the picture of us beneath his wings, will give us a sense of security and even love. Knowing that we are not on our own, and we do have a God that puts us under his wings, will give us all a calming spirit and makes us to be aware that we are not on our own, is very reassuring and comforting.

This is all part of our God's faithfulness and when we believe that we are hidden beneath his wings, we would not be afraid of what our world is doing and saying, but because of the awareness of the fact that we are hidden will cause us to be steadfast in his love and care for us all. God is a God that loves us all unconditionally - 1 John 4:8; Romans 5:8.

God sent his Son to die for us all - John 3:16, this simply means that there is no one that is not loved by God, and there is no one that is not hidden under his wings. Jesus said to us in Matthew 5:45 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so? Therefore, you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Therefore, because of this we are all hidden until we come to the full knowledge of God and knowing that Jesus came to pay the price for us all. We are all loved by God and like the verse says the rain falls on us all, regardless of our position in Christ, we are all are privileged to be hidden under his wings.

Scriptures on under his wings:

Psalm 17:8

Keep me as the

apple of Your eye.

Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,

Matthew 23:37

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

Psalm 63:7

Because You have been my help,

Therefore, in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.

Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength.

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

Exodus 19:4

You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.

Malachi 4:2

But to you who fear My name

The Sun of Righteousness shall arise

With healing in His wings.

And you shall go out

And grow fat like stall-fed calves.

Proverbs 18:10

The name of the Lord is a strong tower.

The righteous run to it and are safe.

Let us all bear in mind that God is a Spirit and we are to worship him, in spirit and in truth. God is a God that sees it all. He watches over us all and protects us all in his love for us all. We are children of God, and he is obligated to make sure that we are all covered. Trusting in Him as a Father will cause him to hide us under his wings.

He said in Psalm 23 verse 6, that God's goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. This is truly a God that loves, cares and is always with us, all the days of our lives. He is God and cannot lie to us his children. I believe that trusting Him will cause him to hide us all under his wings and like Malachi 4 verses 2 says that there is healing in His wings.

Psalm 91 is a powerful psalm that we all know about and quote it every time we need help:

Psalm 91 (AMP)

Security of the One Who Trusts in the Lord.

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High

Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,

My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”

For He will save you from the trap of the fowler,

And from the deadly pestilence.

He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions,

And under His wings you will find refuge.

His faithfulness is a shield and a wall.

You will not be afraid of the terror of night,

Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness,

Nor of the destruction (sudden death) that lays waste at noon.

A thousand may fall at your side

And ten thousand at your right hand,

But danger will not come near you.

You will only [be a spectator as you] look on with your eyes

And witness the [divine] repayment of the wicked [as you watch safely from the shelter of the Most High].

Because you have made the Lord, [who is] my refuge,

Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

No evil will befall you,

Nor will any plague come near your tent.

For He will command His angels in regard to you,

To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

They will lift you up in their hands,

So that you do not [even] strike your foot against a stone.

You will tread upon the lion and cobra.

The young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.

“Because he set his love on Me, therefore I will save him.

I will set him [securely] on high, because he knows My name [he confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon him, no, never].

“He will call upon Me, and I will answer him.

I will be with him in trouble.

I will rescue him and honour him.

“With a long life I will satisfy him

And I will let him see My salvation.”

A well-known psalm that says it all about God hiding us all underneath his wings. God is love and love is God. Having an understanding of this will help us to believe that we are hidden from the wickedness that we are seeing around us and in our world every day. Hiding ourselves underneath his wings as a lot of benefits that comes with it.

The benefits of being hidden are:

- Divine protection

- Healing

- Blessings

- He will always answer to us in trouble

- Provision

- Strength

This is whom God is and what he does for us all in his mercy he has decided to hide us under his wings, where no evil will befall us all. And been hidden under his wings, will cause us all to be hidden in such a way that the Devil will not locate us, why? simply because we are so covered that the Devil will not see us all to harm us. The only way that God will not be able to hide us, is when we allow sin to dominate us. And the bible says that as children of God we are not to allow sin to have dominion over us - Romans 6:14.

God will not allow us to not be hidden as his children, once we do not let sin have its way in our lives. God is faithful and will continue to bring us back into the fold, in his presence. Trusting in the love of God will always put us all in the place of protection, which is been hidden under his wings, which is also a place of refuge from the storms of life, which is an everyday occurrence. The world we are living in is a very wicked world because Satan is the god of this earth for a short while - 2 Corinthians 4:4. But having faith in God will help us all be in safety with all that is going on in our world today.

Remain blessed in his presence always. Amen
