Praise be to God! What a privilege it is to be in His house, surrounded by so many wonderful faces, all gathered here with hearts full of expectation for the great things God is about to do.
Today, we stand on the leadership level—not the nursery level. We are called to lead, to grow, and to embrace the responsibilities of leadership. Hallelujah! Praise God for this incredible opportunity.
I am deeply grateful for this powerful conference and for the vision of Dr. George and his wonderful family. I also want to honor Reverend Dr. Mazid, who has been like a spiritual father to me, and his wife, Pastor Beverly. Their divine connection led me to this conference, and I truly thank God for their role in my journey. Interestingly, though Dr. George and I share the same hometown and village, it was through Dr. Mazid that I came to know him. What a testament to God’s divine orchestration!
Greetings to you all on behalf of my family back in Hyderabad—my wife, children, and our missionary community. It’s such a joyful occasion to gather together in the house of God for fellowship. I feel deeply privileged to be here and especially blessed to see my dear friends from Africa. I’ve been fortunate to visit Africa several times, ministering in over seven countries and participating in various conferences. Similarly, I’ve had the opportunity to come to the United States more than 25 times to minister in different places. This is my second time attending the Power Conference, and I must say, I am truly blessed—hallelujah!
I’m also thrilled to see some familiar faces joining us here today, including friends from Hyderabad, Kerala, and beyond. It’s a joy to be united in this gathering. Looking ahead, I have faith that this conference will grow beyond our current numbers of 200 or 250 attendees. I believe the time is coming when thousands will gather here in New Jersey for the Power Conference. Do you believe that? Amen!
Let’s take a moment to stand together. While physical exercise is important, spiritual exercise is even more vital. Right now, we stand not only in unity but to declare a powerful truth: we are called to be extraordinary. How many of you believe that? Say it with me: “I am called to be extraordinary!” Hallelujah! Praise God!
ITeaching and preaching to pastors can be a challenging task. Yet, we remain humble and open, ready to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know I am called to be extraordinary—how many of you can say the same? I am a person of purpose, chosen for a divine mission in this generation. Whether man or woman, each of us carries a God-given mandate to make an impact.
Heavenly Father, I lift up these leaders into Your mighty hands. I pray that the power of the Almighty will move in their lives as never before. Lord, make them influential and impactful in Your kingdom. Let them touch others as You touch them, creating a ripple of transformation. May they build communities that transform cities and nations, carrying the power and anointing of Your kingdom wherever they go.
Father, I declare that they will never be the same again. Thank You, Jesus, for ordaining, delegating, positioning, and empowering us to fulfill Your great work. We are grateful for Your blessings and for hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
I want to share some thoughts on the theme, "We are called to be extraordinary."
Many years ago, in Dublin, Ireland, two young men were having a conversation about God. One of them, named Henry Varley, made a profound and historic statement. He said to his friend, "The world has yet to see what God can do with a man fully consecrated to Him." Those words left a deep and lasting impression on his friend.
That young man took the statement to heart and turned to God in prayer. He said, "Lord, I want to be that person—fully dedicated to You. Let the world witness what You can accomplish through someone who is entirely Yours." Determined to live out this commitment, he returned to his room, knelt before God, and prayed earnestly. For months, he poured out his heart, crying out, "Lord, make me that person. Use me to influence the world with Your power."
History tells us that God heard those prayers. Over time, this young man became a mighty instrument in God’s hands. His ministry gave rise to thousands of other ministers, and God used him to ignite a spiritual awakening across two continents. That young man was none other than Reverend D.L. Moody.
Reverend Moody’s life became a testament to what God can do through someone who is wholly dedicated to Him. He passed away on December 22, 1899, but his legacy lives on as a powerful example of how dedication and faith can shape the world. Moody’s life was proof that when we fully surrender to God’s purpose, extraordinary things can happen.
God created you to be His dream person. Before time began, He envisioned you and chose you with purpose. He desires for you to be a visionary—someone who carries and fulfills the dreams He has placed in His heart for you. Vision is the essence of God’s desire for your life, a reflection of His divine plan.
You are uniquely qualified by God. Out of countless possibilities, He chose you, sending you from eternity to this moment, to live on this earth as His dream person. You are not here by accident; you are handpicked by the Almighty for a time such as this.
Understanding God’s vision is the key to finding joy, hope, energy, and purpose. It fuels excitement and gives our lives direction. Without vision, however, life can spiral into despair, hopelessness, and confusion, leading to struggles with identity and mental health. Vision is not just a calling—it’s essential to living a fulfilled and meaningful life.
Life is short. If we live for 70 years, that’s just 25,550 days on this earth. Every single day counts. So, how do we spend our time in this brief existence? Let’s break it down.
In a lifespan of 70 years:
18 years are spent on education and work.
24 years are spent sleeping (assuming 10 hours of sleep per day).
13 years are spent resting or doing nothing.
6 years are devoted to eating meals.
3 years are spent on daily routines like grooming and hygiene.
6 years are dedicated to prayer, spiritual activities, or attending church.
The most significant portion of our time—24 years—is spent sleeping. When you put it into perspective, much of our lives is consumed by routine and rest. This breakdown reminds us to make the most of the time we have for the things that truly matter.
As members of God’s dream team, we are called to live extraordinary lives. Being extraordinary means dedicating extra time to God, allowing Him to work through us and manifest His presence in our lives. Jesus commanded us to make disciples who reflect His character, live as He lived, and embrace the abundant life He promised. Praise God for this incredible calling.
To become extraordinary and carry out an extraordinary ministry, God outlines a divine process. First, He gives you a mission—your purpose to fulfill. With that mission, He shares a vision of what He intends to accomplish through you. Once the vision is revealed, God provides a plan, guiding you step by step toward success. As you walk in obedience, He disciples and equips you with the tools and wisdom needed to thrive in your calling. Ultimately, the success of the mission belongs to God.
God’s process is clear: He gives a mission, shares a vision, provides a plan, and equips you for success. Through His guidance, you will be empowered to fulfill your purpose and make an extraordinary impact in the mission field.
The Work of the Holy Spirit in Different Aspects of Our Christian Life
Today, I want to focus on how the Holy Spirit moves and operates across the various stages of our Christian journey. Each stage reflects a different facet of our spiritual growth, from where we begin to where God calls us to go. Let’s explore these levels of growth:
1. Unchurched Level
This is where we start—outside the knowledge of Christ, unaware of His teachings and presence in our lives.
2. Evangelized Level
From being unchurched, we are introduced to the Gospel, either as individuals or as a community, and become aware of God’s love and message.
3. Converted Level
Once evangelized, we move toward conversion. This is the stage where faith takes root, and we begin to align our lives with God's truth.
4. Congregational Level
Conversion leads us into fellowship with other believers, forming a community of worship and collective growth in Christ.
5. Devoted Disciple Level
Within this congregational setting, some grow deeper in their faith, becoming devoted disciples who live intentionally for Christ and His mission.
6. Mighty Men and Women of God
As devoted disciples grow in their faith, they are empowered by the Holy Spirit to lead ministries that create lasting impact. It is at this stage that strong men and women of God rise, ready to serve with purpose, influence, and unwavering commitment.
Throughout this journey, the Holy Spirit remains central—guiding, transforming, and equipping us for the work God has called us to do. Today, my goal is to explore how the Spirit operates at each stage of our spiritual growth, prompting us to reflect on where we stand and encouraging us to become more effective in our ministry.
1) The Unchurched State or Unreached Level
The term "unchurched"When we were in an unchurched state, we had never encountered the Gospel. We did not believe refers to individuals or groups who have not been exposed to the Gospel. When we, living were in this un instead inchurched state, we had never sin and bound by superstitions. encountered or believed in We were unrecept the message of salvation. We lived inive to God's word, walking sin and in spiritual superstition darkness and separated from salvation., closed As natural beings, we couldn't understand the things of off to God. Even God’s word when we heard and His word unaware of His truth, it. It seemed like foolishness was a to us. As life of spiritual darkness the Bible says in, where we remained unsaved and disconnected from God.
As the Bible explains, 1 Corinthians the natural person cannot comprehend the things of God1:18,. Without spiritual understanding "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who, even hearing God are per’s message can seem like foolishness. As stated in 1 Corinthiansishing." Similarly, 1:18, "The word of the cross is foolishness to those who are 1 Corinthians 2:14 states perishing." Similarly, 1 Corinthians 2:14 reminds us, " that "The natural man does not acceptThe natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolish the thingsness to him." When we were in this untreated of the, un Spirit of God,churched state, we were spiritually blind and for they are foolish unable to grasp God’s truth.ness to him."
2) The Evangelized Level:
What happens when we hear the gospel? We are ushered into the next stage of our Christian journey, known as the evangelized community.
At this level, the light of the gospel shines into a person’s life. They hear the Word of God, and through it, faith is born. As the Bible says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17) This faith, authored and perfected by Jesus Christ, as noted in Hebrews 12:2, is transformative. The Word of God delivers this faith, which begins to move powerfully in a believer's life.
When we are evangelized, the gospel does two significant things: it brings us faith and initiates the convicting work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit convicts us in three key areas: sin, righteousness, and judgment. This conviction is pivotal. The Holy Spirit reveals our sin because we have not believed in Christ. He convicts us of righteousness because Jesus has ascended to the Father. And He convicts us of judgment because the ruler of this world has been judged.
As this conviction works in us, something profound takes place. We believe in Jesus as our Lord with all our hearts and confess with our mouths that God raised Him from the dead. This faith leads to our justification, while our confession results in salvation, as the Bible promises (Romans 10:9-10).
How does the Holy Spirit operate at the evangelized level? He convicts us of sin, righteousness, and judgment, guiding us to recognize our need for Jesus. This conviction opens our hearts to receive Him and surrender our lives to Him. The result is justification before God and the gift of salvation. Praise the Lord for His life-changing work in us!
3) The Converted Level:
The third level in our spiritual journey is the converted level. In this stage, as described in the Gospel of John 1:12, those who believe in Jesus and receive Him are given the power to become children of God. Conversion marks the moment we step into a new identity as God’s children, born of His Spirit.
John 1:13 emphasizes that this rebirth is not of human will or bloodline but is a divine act through the Holy Spirit. Jesus further explains this to Nicodemus in John 3:3-15, saying, "Unless you are born again, you cannot see the kingdom of God." He adds, "Unless you are born of water and the Spirit, you cannot enter the kingdom of God." Conversion is this transformative experience, a spiritual rebirth that brings us into God’s family.
When we are converted, we receive the Holy Spirit as a gift. This gift brings immense joy into our lives—the joy of salvation and the joy of the Holy Spirit. Think back to the moment someone first receives Jesus Christ—there’s a radiance, a joy on their face that is unmistakable. Witnessing this transformation fills us with happiness, even to the point of forgetting our own needs or hunger. The gift of the Holy Spirit is a source of unshakable joy, and we thank God for this incredible blessing in our lives.
In our conversion, we are also called into fellowship with Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:9). Furthermore, God seals us with the Holy Spirit as a mark of His ownership and promise. Ephesians 1:14 and Romans 8:9, 23 remind us that the Holy Spirit is a pledge, a foretaste of the eternal inheritance awaiting us.
The Holy Spirit also abides with us and indwells within us. John 14:17 assures us that the Holy Spirit remains with us, while 1 Corinthians 3:16 and 6:19 declare that we are the temple of God because the Holy Spirit lives within us. This indwelling presence of the Spirit is a constant reminder of God’s closeness and guidance in our lives.
In summary, we have moved from the unreached state to the evangelized level, and now to the converted level. At this stage, the Holy Spirit works powerfully in our lives, sealing us as God’s own, filling us with joy, and abiding within us. It is a transformative journey that draws us closer to God and into deeper fellowship with Him.
4) Congregational Level:
As a believer grows in Christ, there is a natural progression from personal faith to joining the fellowship of the church—a congregational level where we gather as a community of saints. This stage of spiritual life is marked by significant experiences with the Holy Spirit, who works powerfully within us to deepen our faith and understanding.
At the congregational level, the Holy Spirit fulfills several vital roles in the life of a believer. First, He teaches us all things, as promised in John 14:26. He also bears witness to Jesus Christ in our lives, as seen in John 15:26. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth, as described in John 16:13. In this stage of communal worship and fellowship, believers experience the teaching, witnessing, and guiding ministries of the Holy Spirit. These are profound moments of spiritual growth where we are nurtured and strengthened in the faith.
Additionally, in this stage of life, we are called to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:18-19 reminds us: “Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.” This filling manifests in joyful worship—singing hymns, praising God, making melodies in our hearts, and giving thanks to Him in all things. It is through this Spirit-filled life that we offer our worship to God, experiencing both His presence and His power as we live and grow together as a congregation.
Let us embrace this level of faith, allowing the Holy Spirit to teach, guide, and fill us as we walk in fellowship with one another and with God.
WWhen we gather at the congregational level, we open ourselves to experiencing the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This outpouring is distinct from the indwelling presence of the Spirit. The Bible describes this in Acts 2:1-4, where 120 disciples, united in one mind and spirit, heard a sound like a rushing mighty wind from heaven filling the room. Tongues of fire appeared, resting on each one of them, marking the powerful arrival of the Holy Spirit.
When the Holy Spirit is poured out, it doesn’t come selectively—it descends on everyone present. On the day of Pentecost, the Spirit rested on each individual, without exception. This outpouring comes from an external source, pouring onto all believers. Scripture consistently emphasizes this: the Spirit is outpoured on you, on everyone. When the outpouring occurs, it touches every heart present.
I envision this same outpouring today—not limited to one or two people, but encompassing everyone. If the Holy Spirit moves here now, I believe every one of you will speak in tongues, just as the Bible describes. God doesn’t show partiality. His presence, power, and glory are limitless, and His Spirit is meant for all.
As we gather today in God’s house, I earnestly pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives—one that transforms us completely. The Bible recounts multiple instances of such outpourings. In Samaria (Acts 8:15-16), when Philip prayed, the Holy Spirit descended upon the people. At Cornelius’ house (Acts 10:44-46), while Peter preached, the Spirit fell on everyone listening, and they began speaking in tongues. In Ephesus (Acts 19:1-6), when Paul prayed, the Holy Spirit came upon the believers, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
I believe that same outpouring can happen here today. If it does, not only will you speak in tongues, but you will also prophesy in the name of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Additionally, at the congregational level, we can experience another dimension of the Holy Spirit—the baptism of the Holy Spirit. While the outpouring flows from the outside, baptism is an immersion within the divine river of God. It is a complete submersion, as though Jesus Himself dips you into the fire and presence of God. John the Baptist spoke of this, saying, “I baptize you with water for repentance, but the one who comes after me will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
Jesus reiterated this in Acts 1:5, instructing His disciples to wait for the promise of the Father. He assured them that when the Holy Spirit came upon them, they would receive power to witness in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Similarly, in Luke 24:49, Jesus promised His followers they would be “clothed with power” if they waited in Jerusalem. In John 7:37-38, He said, “Whoever believes in me, out of their innermost being will flow rivers of living water.” These passages all point to the baptism of the Holy Spirit—a deeper, more profound experience with God.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit brings forth the gifts of the Spirit and takes us to a higher spiritual level. While the Holy Spirit already resides within you, God desires for that Spirit to flow like rivers of living water, transforming and empowering you. Through this baptism, you are immersed in the fullness of God’s presence, stepping into a life overflowing with His power and grace.
Let us seek this today: the outpouring and baptism of the Holy Spirit, that we may walk boldly in His power, clothed in His presence, and equipped to fulfill His purpose.
5) Devoted Discipleship Level: Reaching New Heights in the Christian Walk
The highest calling in the Christian life is reaching the devoted discipleship level. This is where believers dedicate themselves fully to the teachings of the apostles and embrace a life of complete surrender to God’s will. Attaining this level signifies spiritual growth and maturity, positioning you in a realm where you experience the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in extraordinary ways. At this stage, the Christian life becomes supernatural, elevating you to operate on what I call the “extraordinary level.” Hallelujah! In this state, you walk in the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
It’s essential to understand that the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the baptism of the Holy Spirit are distinct experiences. Through baptism, God immerses you in His river of life, a transformative encounter with His presence. Anointing, however, is where God delegates power and authority to you. It is the divine positioning of a believer, equipping you with the ability to fulfill a God-given task. Hallelujah! Anointing places you in a position of spiritual authority, empowering you to act as a representative of heaven on earth.
The anointing is not limited to speaking in tongues, seeing a vision, or uttering a prophecy—though these may be expressions of it. Anointing goes far beyond these manifestations. It brings God’s extraordinary ability into your life, transforming you into a person of divine capability. People will be amazed by your wisdom, boldness, and strength, wondering where this power and insight come from. The anointing of the Holy Spirit makes you a new person, breaking every yoke and removing every demonic limitation. It enables you to rise above challenges, stand firm in divine authority, and exercise that authority in the name of Jesus.
The anointing empowers you to walk in God’s calling with excellence, wisdom, and strength. It is the divine force that drives you to live out your purpose, glorifying God and impacting the world around you. Hallelujah!
The Bible clearly states that the Holy Spirit does not anoint us directly—it is God who anoints us with His Holy Spirit. In 2 Corinthians 1:21, we read, “The one who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God Himself.” Similarly, in Acts 10:38, it says, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power.” Who anoints us? It is God the Father who anoints us, equipping us with His Holy Spirit, His power, and His wisdom.
When you are anointed, extraordinary things happen. You may be filled with divine wisdom, strategic insight, and exceptional abilities. You are gifted with talents and capabilities that go beyond the ordinary. And you don’t need to announce yourself as an apostle, prophet, or leader—your actions and the power you carry will naturally reveal who you are in Christ.
Today, many of us struggle with identity. We face challenges because we have lost our vision and forgotten where we stand in God. We take on titles—apostle, prophet, leader—but deep down, we feel disconnected from the true essence of those roles. This is a serious issue. When we lack clarity about our purpose, we risk falling into duplications and imitations, which are the schemes of the enemy.
But remember, our God is the Creator, not a duplicator. He does not make replicas. Each of us is uniquely designed, chosen, and assigned by God for a specific purpose. We are His original workmanship. As children of God, we must stand firm in this truth, knowing who we are and why we are called. I don’t need human approval or the validation of organizations to prove my identity in Christ. My confidence comes from knowing I am a chosen instrument of God, created and empowered for His glory. Let us walk boldly in that assurance!
As Paul declares, "I know whom I believe, and I know what I carry. I know what I received." He confidently states, "I received from the Lord and deliver unto you." This reminds us of the necessity for an authentic anointing of the Holy Spirit—the anointing of Almighty God. Let us cast aside all imitation, pretense, and superficiality. Let us come before God with sincerity, praying boldly, "Lord, anoint me with fresh oil."
At the level of devoted discipleship, as John 2:27 says, the anointing of the Holy Spirit abides within us. This anointing teaches us, so we do not rely solely on human instruction. However, this scripture is often misunderstood. Many misquote it, claiming they need no teaching from others, even using speaking in tongues as evidence. But this passage speaks of the anointing’s ability to guide us, not an excuse to reject wisdom or instruction.
Today, the term "anointing" is often misused or confined to a single experience. But true anointing is transformative. It positions and empowers you, declaring to both the spiritual and physical realms that you are chosen by God. Even the forces of darkness and evil territories recognize when someone is genuinely anointed. The wicked world trembles before a servant of God who walks in divine authority. When you are anointed, you don’t rely on physical strength or human effort to accomplish God’s work. Instead, you operate through His power.
When anointed, you can speak with authority in the name of Jesus. My friend, Dr. Mazid, shared a powerful word with me during a ministry visit to his church last May. He recounted advice he had heard from an African apostle: "John, when you face challenges, attacks, or negative situations, remember this—you are a general in God's kingdom. Command in the name of Jesus, and you will see circumstances obeying you. Situations will shift, and nothing will stand against you."
Walk in the power of your anointing, with faith in the authority given to you through Christ Jesus.
Two months ago, I faced a challenging situation, and I want to share how God worked in my son’s life. My 23-year-old son, who has been a worship leader with me for over eight years, was accepted into Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia, to pursue his master’s degree. We had received a prophetic word to send him there, so we moved forward, paying the fees and completing all the necessary arrangements.
But then, unexpectedly, we received a rejection letter from the university. My son was heartbroken and asked me, "Papa, I’ve stood alongside you on the same pulpit for years, worshiping God. Why would He allow this rejection?" It was a difficult moment for both of us.
I reflected on the situation and remembered something profound: I had never used the authority God has given me for personal matters. I also recalled the teaching of Dr. Mazid, which had been a blessing in my life. That Friday, during a time of fasting and prayer, I brought the rejection letter before God in my bedroom. Although I had already submitted a refund request to the university, I decided to take a step of faith. I declared, "Lord, I honor the word spoken by Dr. Mazid, and I believe it’s a message for this season. In the authority You have given me, I declare as a general in Your kingdom that the decision of Swinburne University will be overturned. In the name of Jesus, I command the authorities to reissue the admission letter."
Three days later, on Monday morning, while I was out for my walk, I received an unexpected call from Swinburne University. They asked, "John, why did you submit a refund request?" I replied, "You rejected my son’s application, so we are requesting our money back." To my surprise, they said, "No, no, no—there was a miscommunication. We are deeply sorry. Within half an hour, we will send you the Confirmation of Enrolment (COE)."
And just like that, God turned the situation around. It was a powerful reminder of the authority we have in Him and the faithfulness of His promises.
Men and women of God, hear this: you are the apostles, the prophets, the ones entrusted with the authority and anointing of the Holy Spirit. When you declare something in the name of Jesus, no force of darkness can stand against you. Your words carry power. Your faith carries power. You are a person of divine authority, chosen and equipped by God.
As a missionary from India, many people ask me how I am able to travel the world. The answer is simple—I witness the power, presence, and anointing of God at work. The anointing has the power to break every yoke in your life. No demonic force or limitation can hold you back when you walk in that anointing. Let’s delve deeper into this truth. In the Old Testament, we see the priestly, kingly, and prophetic anointings—each one designed to set individuals apart for extraordinary purpose. The same is true today. The anointing transforms you into someone extraordinary, enabling you to fulfill the offices of apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher, and pastor.
This anointing is not born from mere congregational participation, casual evangelism, or simple conversion. It is birthed and developed through dedicated discipleship. It is at the level of true devotion to Christ that ministries are formed. Apostles, pastors, and prophets are raised up from this foundation of deep commitment.
Through this, you will also experience the empowering ministry of the Holy Spirit. As the Apostle Paul declares in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." In Colossians 1:29, he says, "I labor, I strive with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me." The Spirit empowers and equips you to strive, to serve, and to succeed—not by your own strength, but through the mighty power of Christ at work within you.
The empowerment ministry of the Holy Spirit is a profound and life-changing experience. The Apostle Paul highlights this in key scriptures such as Philippians 1:19 and Galatians 3:5, urging us to understand the depth of this truth.
In Philippians 1:19, Paul writes, "For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ." Here, Paul speaks of a divine provision—a supply of the Holy Spirit—that strengthens and sustains him. He shares his personal experience with the Holy Spirit, acknowledging God's continuous outpouring of grace and power in his life.
Similarly, Galatians 3:5 states, "He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?" This verse reminds us that faith is the key to receiving an abundant supply of the Holy Spirit. The more we grow in faith, the more freely God pours out His Spirit into our lives.
The word "supply" here is rich with meaning. It speaks of an abundant, generous outpouring—an overflowing provision of power, strength, and spiritual resources. It is not a mere measure, but a lavish furnishing of the Spirit's power, equipping us to perform miracles and fulfill our divine purpose.
For ministers with extraordinary callings, the experience of the Holy Spirit becomes even more profound, as God supplies an even greater measure of His Spirit to accomplish His work. This "supply" implants His divine power within us, enabling us to walk boldly and carry out His mission.
We are called to live extraordinary lives in God’s kingdom. To do so, we must seek and embrace an ever-increasing supply of the Holy Spirit. Let us step forward in faith, ready to receive this abundant outpouring, so we can serve with power, purpose, and impact.
The Bible recounts an inspiring transformation in 1 Samuel 22:2, where 400 ordinary men—broken and burdened—became mighty warriors. Who were these men? Scripture tells us they shared three defining struggles:
They were in distress.
They were overwhelmed by heavy debt.
They were deeply discontented and unhappy.
These 400 men, broken and battered by life, gathered around David, who became their leader. Imagine their state—faces marked by stress, weighed down by despair, and filled with hopelessness. In modern terms, they might be described as "donkey faces," reflecting the heavy burdens they carried in their lives and ministries.
But something extraordinary happened after they joined David. Over time, they experienced a profound transformation. In 1 Chronicles 12:8, we see the result of this change:
“From the Gadites there came to David in the stronghold in the wilderness, mighty men of valor, trained for battle, who could handle shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and who were as swift as gazelles on the mountains.”
What an incredible shift! These men, once distressed, indebted, and discontented, became fearless warriors—mighty, disciplined, and powerful. Their faces, once heavy with despair, now shone with courage and determination, like lions ready for the battle.
This story is a powerful reminder of the transformation that can occur when brokenness is met with leadership, purpose, and faith. It asks us: What kind of transformation is possible in our own lives when we allow God to lead us through our struggles into strength?
What happened to them? The Bible tells us that these individuals became skilled warriors. They mastered the use of weapons and knew how to handle shields and spears with precision.
It also says their faces were like lions—bold, fierce, and fearless. How many here today have the face of a lion? I don’t want to see any “donkey faces.” I want to see lion faces! Hallelujah! A lion's face represents royalty, authority, courage, and power.
Furthermore, the Bible describes them as swift as gazelles on the mountains, moving with supernatural speed that no one could match. I pray that as you are anointed, God will give you that same supernatural speed in your ministry. Nothing will be able to slow you down—not the weight of burdens, not pressure, not adversity. You will maintain your God-given pace. Perhaps God has entrusted you with a five-year project—He will equip you with the power and speed to complete it within the appointed time.
When the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, he outran Ahab’s chariots. Not even a heavy downpour could stop him. Ahab couldn’t stop him. The chariots couldn’t stop him. Why? Because the hand of the Lord was upon Elijah's life.
In the name of Jesus, I declare this over you today. In this power conference, Almighty God is releasing a supernatural acceleration over your life. The tasks and projects God has assigned to you—no matter how much the enemy plots to distract or hinder you—will be completed. The devil may use every cunning weapon to steal your focus, but when you are anointed by the Holy Spirit, no scheme will prevail. God is accelerating your pace and empowering you to move forward with divine speed, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
Repeat after me: Nothing can hold me back. No weight, no sickness, no problem in this world can stop or slow me down. I will keep moving at the speed that God Almighty has set for me. I won't carry a defeated expression; instead, I will display the boldness and strength of a lion. I will walk in the authority and power that God has given me, and my life will never be the same again.
We are a chosen people, anointed and set apart. We are the army of heaven, the army of Almighty God, called to exercise His authority on Earth. So don’t confine yourself to the ordinary. Step into the extraordinary. Move beyond the basics and ascend to greater spiritual heights. Every impactful ministry begins with deep, devoted discipleship. Commit yourself fully to God and declare, "Lord, I desire to be extraordinary in Your presence."
Here’s a powerful truth: God wants to anoint you. Our God is great and desires for everyone to walk in His anointing. However, there are obstacles that hinder this anointing from becoming effective in our lives. Today, I invite each of you to open your heart to the Holy Spirit.
Here are some common hindrances to God’s anointing in your life:
Falling under counterfeit control.
Being influenced by negative influences.
Allowing harmful controls to dominate your life.
Break free from these barriers, and let the anointing of God flow powerfully in your life.
Keys to Preserving the Anointing of the Holy Spirit:
1.Renounce All Counterfeit Control
Let go of anything that seeks to control you outside of God's will. Fully surrender to His guidance.
2. Guard Your Peace
Peace is essential to carrying the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Without peace, it becomes challenging to remain in the flow of the Holy Spirit. God's desire is for you to be free from pressure and filled with His divine peace. When the anointing comes, it dispels every burden and releases you from stress in the name of Jesus. To move powerfully in the Holy Spirit, you must cultivate and maintain this peace. Flow in His presence—flow in the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah!
3. Adopt the Mind of Christ
Align your thoughts with the mind of Jesus. His perspective and humility enable you to walk in the fullness of His anointing and purpose.
By embracing these principles, you can move confidently in the power of the Holy Spirit and fulfill the purpose God has for your life.
Pray with me:
There are influences in our lives that lead us away from God’s purpose—what we call counterfeit control. Today, we renounce every form of this counterfeit control that hinders the anointing from becoming effective in our lives. These negative influences may stem from traditions, unhealthy relationships, sinful habits, or even the words we speak or hear. Lord, I reject every bad influence in my life and open my heart fully to the positive, transformative work of the Holy Spirit.
I urge you not to remain silent or passive. Lift your voice and respond to God in prayer. Lord, I renounce every negative influence—whether it came from destructive relationships, a sinful past, or moments of failure. In the name of Jesus, I break every hold these influences have over my life. I am ready to step into the fullness of Your plan for me.
I sense the mighty hand of the Holy Spirit moving among us today. This moment is not just another gathering; it’s a divine platform where God is appointing, equipping, and empowering His people. Renounce every wrong influence, every counterfeit control that resists the activation of God’s power in your life. Declare it aloud, for there is power in your words.
We are soldiers in God’s kingdom, and our words carry authority. As you reject the wrong influences in your life today, prepare for the supernatural. Man of God, you are stepping into a new season. Where you once felt limited, the hand of the Lord will now enable you. Jesus said to Peter, “Follow me, and I will make you a fisher of men.” Likewise, it is not by your own ability but by His power that you are being transformed. Mighty apostolic and prophetic assignments are being released over you as never before. Step boldly into the weight of God’s glory and walk in His divine purpose.
