Preached at the PYPA Session at the IPC 2nd Annual Convention 2025 Ireland and EU Region, September 2024
I believe the atmosphere will be filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. God is in this house, and the windows of heaven are about to open over this place. Hallelujah.
The majesty and glory of God will be revealed here on a whole new level. Hallelujah. I can already feel the power and weight of the anointing that God is preparing to pour out in this place for His glory. You will not leave the same as you came.
God is ready to transform your life—changing your mindset, renewing every area of your being, and shaping you into champions.
Dublin holds a remarkable story from 1872, one that began with two young men gathering for prayer. Among them was Henry Varley, a local, and D.L. Moody, a visitor from Chicago, U.S. Together with a few others, they met for a prayer meeting near a large cathedral in the city. During this gathering, Henry Varley made a statement that would echo through history. He said to D.L. Moody:
"The world has yet to see what God can do through a man who is fully consecrated to Him."
Those words struck D.L. Moody deeply. He returned home, weeping and praying in God’s presence, saying, “Lord, I want to be that man—fully dedicated to You. I want to be a vessel of Your power and anointing.” History tells us that God honored that desire. D.L. Moody became a powerful instrument in God’s hands, impacting three continents through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Hallelujah! Thousands of men and women were equipped and trained through his ministry, leaving an enduring legacy.
My dear brothers and sisters, I want to remind you: this is our season. This is the season for champions of Jesus Christ. A generation of anointed people is rising—apostles, teachers, preachers, evangelists, and prophets. I see them prophetically among us, within this very community. God is raising up mighty men and women who will be authentic voices of the Holy Spirit in the days to come. Hallelujah!
Young people play a vital role in God's kingdom. There’s a well-known story about D.L. Moody that illustrates the immense value he placed on children and young people. After one of his crusades, someone asked him how many souls had been saved that day. Moody replied, "Two and a half." The man, puzzled, asked, "Do you mean two adults and one child?" Moody responded, "No, no—two children and one adult. Praise God!"
Moody explained his reasoning: a child saved has their whole life to serve God, making their salvation a “full ticket.” He deeply respected young people and saw them as a complete and invaluable part of God's plan.
In the book Generation Next, it’s noted that three-quarters of those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and embrace the Christian faith do so before their 18th birthday. This emphasizes the incredible impact young people have in God's kingdom. Hallelujah! God's plan for young people is great, and His purpose for their lives is extraordinary.
Today, the world population has reached 8.2 billion. Interestingly, out of this massive number, only 3% is classified as "extraordinary people." In psychology, these individuals are grouped into 16 categories based on their talents, contributions, and charisma. The world often refers to them as "rare people groups" because of their exceptional abilities and the significant impact they have on society.
Figures like Steve Jobs, the founder of Facebook, and political or scientific pioneers are often considered part of this group. Elon Musk, for instance, is regarded as one of these extraordinary individuals—not just by Christians, but also by the world. These are the people whose innovations and contributions have shaped the modern world. Many are already part of history, while others continue to make a difference today. Praise God for His gifts and purpose in every generation!
But kingdom of God is not like that. Bible says 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 27, God chooses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise and weak things of the world to shame the strong.Hallelujah!
You know our God is an extraordinary God, our God is a big God. Can you shout that our God is a big God? Hallelujah! Can you say after me, big God? Come on! Big God! I'm serving a big God. I'm serving an extraordinary God.I want every kids and every young people shout that I'm serving a big God.
The God you serve is an extraordinary God. The Holy Spirit within you is not ordinary—it is extraordinary. Likewise, the Word of God in you is no ordinary word; it is powerful and extraordinary in every way.
As followers of such an extraordinary God, we are called to rise above the ordinary and become extraordinary people—champions for His kingdom. God doesn't choose the qualified; He chooses the unqualified and equips them for His divine purpose. Hallelujah! Through His anointing and power, we are made worthy for His kingdom. We are a people chosen for such a time as this.
What makes you a champion for Christ?
What are the three essential credentials that set you apart as an extraordinary champion for Jesus? Let me share them with you. Hallelujah!
We all crave appreciation, encouragement, recognition, and blessings—whether it’s through trophies, mementos, or awards from our churches, pastors, or leaders. These affirmations are meaningful. However, today, God wants to offer you something far greater—His divine credentials for your spiritual life. These are the keys to becoming a true champion for Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
Let us look to the life and ministry of John the Baptist for guidance. Many questioned him: "Where does your anointing come from?" "Who sent you?" "What kind of man are you?" "What is your ministry?" "Are you the Christ?" "Are you Elijah?" John humbly responded, “No, no, no. I’m just a witness. A witness to the light that is Jesus Christ. My sole purpose is to testify to His glory.”
John’s incredible impact came from three key credentials, as highlighted in the Bible. These attributes empowered him with the spirit of Elijah and allowed God to use him mightily, albeit for a brief but powerful time.
The first credential, described in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 1, verse 15, is the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bible tells us that even in his mother’s womb, John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit. Praise God! The scripture also declares that John would be "great in the sight of God" and uniquely anointed for his mission.
From the very beginning, the Holy Spirit was his source of strength, making the power of the Spirit the foundation of John’s ministry. May we all seek this same divine power as we pursue our own callings!
John's power came from the Holy Spirit. It wasn't rooted in wealth, tradition, knowledge, fame, or status. His source of strength was the Holy Ghost. Praise God!
Young people, we need power from above. You are not called by God to live a life of depression, pain, or defeat. You are not meant to be burdened by problems, emotional struggles, or to live as a victim under the enemy's control. Absolutely not.
Jesus shed His blood to redeem you, to legally claim you, and to make you a powerful force for His Kingdom. But to walk in that calling, you need the power of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah!
Sometimes in counseling, we say, "Don’t counsel demons—cast them out." Many people today are battling demonic oppression, mental struggles, and deep emotional pain. Our younger generations, even among so-called Christians, are trapped by the forces of this world, struggling with mental health issues, emotional wounds, sinful habits, and personal challenges. But I want to tell you, there is a solution.
You need the power of the Holy Spirit. More than a psychiatrist or a counselor, you need the transformative presence of the Holy Ghost. Praise God! The Holy Spirit has the power to break every yoke, every addiction, every sickness, and every sinful or demonic bondage. He can set you free—mentally, emotionally, and physically—so you can serve God fully and without hindrance. Hallelujah!
How many of you are crying out today, saying, “Lord, I need more of the power of the Holy Spirit!” Praise the Lord! We need the Holy Spirit now more than ever.
We live in an age of abundant knowledge, ideas, traditions, and achievements—name, fame, wealth, and education are all within our grasp. Yet, despite all this, we are still suffering, especially in our personal lives. Young people, it’s time to refuse being puppets in the hands of the enemy. God has chosen you to be champions in His service, equipped to make a profound impact in the world.
You are called to shake continents with the power of the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! What we need—what you and I desperately need—is power from above. That is the only solution. The anointing of God is His extraordinary ability poured onto your ordinary life, giving you the strength, capacity, and capability to fulfill the purpose He has entrusted to you. In simple terms, anointing is the divine empowerment to carry out God’s call on your life.
God is calling you to rise up and complete the task He has set before you. Hallelujah! The anointing comes with His power, and it is essential for young people, for children, for sons and daughters, for young couples. The power of the Holy Spirit is the only solution.
As we reflect on the life of John the Baptist, the second credential he carried was the word of God. In Luke 3:1, during the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar, when Pontius Pilate governed Judea, and various tetrarchs ruled their regions—while Annas and Caiaphas served as high priests—the Bible tells us that the word of God came to John in the wilderness. This is the second essential credential we need in our lives: the word of God.
Today, more than ever, we need a message from God to guide us through the confusion of this “mess-age.” Hallelujah! I am thankful for those who remain connected to the voice of God. We don’t need more information—we need divine revelation. Receive God’s word for your life. Receive a revelation for your Christian journey. Receive a revelation for your youth.
To be a victorious and impactful person used by God in your generation, it is essential to receive a special revelation from Jesus and remain deeply connected to His word. The word of God is the foundation you need to thrive. While you may have knowledge and ideas, these alone will not fulfill your purpose or lead to true success. Hallelujah! Praise God!
God desires to speak to you personally. I pray that the ears of our young people will be opened, tuned to heaven, and attentive to what the Lord is saying to this generation. Praise God! Receive His word today— a word for your future, your family, your life, and your ministry. Hallelujah!
We are called to be a generation anchored in God’s word. The Bible shows us that even in the wilderness, John received a word from the Lord. This highlights the importance of hearing from God, no matter the circumstances. Simply put, we need God’s word now more than ever in this generation.
I encourage and pray that our young people will prioritize spending time in God’s word. May they read and meditate on it day and night, carrying His truth deeply in their hearts. Praise God! Instead of conforming to the patterns of this world, they will be transformed by the renewing of their minds through the power of Scripture.
Let God’s word be central in your life. Meditate on it, let it guide you, and keep it close to your heart. Scripture is not just spiritual guidance; it brings life and healing. As Proverbs 4:20-22 says, "My son, pay attention to what I say; turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body." Hallelujah!
The word of God is one of the most important credentials we need to live a life that honors Him. Let’s embrace it fully!
The first and most essential credential to become a champion for Jesus is the power of the Holy Spirit. Second, it is the Word of God. John's strength came from the Holy Spirit, and his message was rooted in God's Word.
In the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 3, verse 1, we read that John the Baptist began preaching with the message, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand." John's mission, therefore, was to proclaim the kingdom of God. Hallelujah! His power was the Holy Spirit, his message was the Word of God, and his mission was the kingdom of God.
So, what is your mission? Many aspire to become engineers, doctors, pilots, or successful professionals. And that’s wonderful—God will bless you in those endeavors, and your parents and pastors will rejoice in your achievements. But let me remind you, these are temporary pursuits. Your ultimate mission, something far greater than any earthly career, is to live for the kingdom of God.
My mission is the kingdom of God—what is yours?
Let me illustrate this with a powerful testimony. I know a young man from Chennai named Henry Joshua. He is the only son of Joshua Daniel, a respected Christian leader in the city. Henry completed his MBA, and his father had high hopes of sending him to the United States for further studies, with plans for him to settle there. However, Henry had already received God’s call to ministry. Filled with love and respect, he told his father, “Dad, I love you deeply, but God has called me to serve Him. He is leading me to Bihar, one of the most challenging mission fields in India, to do His work.”
But his father was heartbroken and protested, saying, “No, no, my son! I cannot let you go. You are my only son.”
Henry’s heart was set on a mission—the mission of the Kingdom of God. While he had numerous opportunities before him, Henry told his father, “I must go, Dad, because God is calling me.” True to his calling, he went to Bihar as a young missionary, serving faithfully for several years.
During his time there, Henry faced immense challenges. One of the most severe was malaria, which struck him not once, but 14 times. Eventually, his condition worsened to the point where he was admitted to the emergency ICU at CMC Hospital in Vellore. The doctors gave him a grim prognosis, saying he had only three months to live.
Henry's parents, Pastor Joshua and his wife, visited him with heavy hearts. They said, “Son, we love you so much. The doctors say you have only three months left. Please, spend these last months with us at home.”
But with unwavering faith and determination, Henry replied, “Dad, Mom, I love you deeply. But please, send me back to the mission field. I have great hope that when the trumpet sounds, I will see you again. It is my heart’s deepest desire that when the Lord returns, I will rise alongside the souls God entrusted to me in my ministry. Let me live, serve, and even die in the mission field. Let me be buried there, in the place where God called me.”
What gave this young man such an unshakable passion to serve God? It was the authentic anointing of the Holy Spirit—the true spirit of evangelism.
To my dear brothers, sisters, and young friends: I know many of you have big dreams for your lives, and may God bless them. But I challenge you to make the Kingdom of God your greatest dream. Let His Kingdom be your passion, your mission, and your priority. Hallelujah!
May the Lord raise up mighty prophets, evangelists, pastors, apostles, and revivalists from your generation—men and women who will transform lives and bring countless souls to Christ. Just like Henry Joshua, I present to you this mission challenge because I, too, am a missionary. I have traveled across the globe and witnessed thousands of people coming to Jesus through the power of His Spirit.
We are living in a time where God is moving mightily across the world. Young people, young couples, members of PYPA—what is your mission today? Is it simply to settle down in Ireland, Australia, or another comfortable place? Or is your mission to seek first the Kingdom of God?
Let the power that drives your life be the Holy Spirit, not the fleeting power of money, fame, or position. Let your message be the Word of God. Let your mission be the Kingdom of God. When these become your priorities, you will see lives transformed, including your own. Hallelujah!
As I conclude my message, I want to share a personal testimony with you. At the age of 18, I had the privilege of attending my pastor’s Bible school at his church in Bibin Garden, Uttamnagar, New Delhi. My pastor, who is here today as a witness, can attest to this. Hallelujah! Since that young age, I have been serving Jesus Christ.
Throughout my journey, I have faced countless challenges and struggles, but the anointing of God transformed my life. It changed my personality, my perspective, and my priorities. The anointing gave me strength when I felt weak. Hallelujah! God filled me with His Word, and from that moment, His mission became my mission. My purpose became aligned with His kingdom.
So, I ask you today—what is your priority? Are you embracing the truth that God has called you to be a champion, a visionary, an extraordinary vessel for Jesus Christ? I declare this prophetic word over you and your brothers and sisters. To the young people of IPC Ireland and across the European Union, to the Sunday school children, to the young women and men among us—let the anointing of the Holy Spirit fall upon you right now. Let His power manifest in your lives this very moment. May the mighty hand of Jesus move upon you, transforming you into extraordinary champions for His kingdom.
Before I close, I want to invite you to make a decision for Christ today. Like Henry Joshua, will you commit to making God’s mission your priority? Will you declare that your strength will come from the Holy Spirit, that your message will be His Word, and that your mission will be advancing His kingdom?
How many of you are willing to respond to this call? If God has spoken to your heart today, will you lift your hands and say, “Yes, Lord, I am ready”? Will you say, “My power will come from the Holy Spirit, my message will be Your Word, and my mission will be Your kingdom”?
If you feel this stirring in your heart, let me see those hands lifted high as a sign of your commitment. Hallelujah!
I will pray for you.
Heavenly Father, I lift up those who are answering Your call today. As they commit and dedicate their lives to You, responding to Your Word, I ask that Your Holy Spirit become their source of strength, Your Word their guiding message, and Your kingdom their ultimate mission.
Lord, anoint these individuals with Your power. Raise up this generation to be mighty champions who will impact Ireland and the European Union for Jesus Christ. I pray for an extraordinary outpouring of Your anointing today, all for Your glory.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
