BREAKING RECORDS BY DIVINE ENABLEMENT

INTRODUCTION:
The world is full of records — achievements that stand as benchmarks for greatness. Some people have accomplished things that seemed impossible, breaking records in sports, business, science, and even ministry. These records are often the result of hard work, perseverance, and natural abilities. However, as believers, we know that we are not limited by natural means. When we are enabled by divine power, we are capable of breaking records that surpass human achievement. This is what we call divine enablement.
Divine enablement is the supernatural empowerment from God that allows us to accomplish far beyond our natural capacity. It takes us from being ordinary to extraordinary. The Bible shows us numerous examples of individuals who broke records and accomplished feats that seemed impossible, not by their own strength, but by the divine enablement of God. From David’s mighty men to Paul’s extraordinary ministry, we see how God equips and empowers His children to exceed expectations and break barriers.
This sermon will explore how divine enablement empowers us to break records in every area of life. God wants you to break barriers in your career, ministry, family, and personal life. The moment divine enablement comes upon you, your capacity is expanded, and what once seemed impossible becomes achievable. As you tap into God’s divine strength, you will break records that will testify to His glory and power in your life.
1. DIVINE ENABLEMENT TRANSFORMS ORDINARY PEOPLE INTO EXTRAORDINARY ACHIEVERS
When God’s enabling power is at work in your life, you become capable of extraordinary feats.
a) God Equips Us Beyond Natural Ability
Divine enablement empowers us to accomplish tasks that are beyond our human abilities (Isaiah 40:31).
b) It Causes Us to Surpass Human Limitations
With God’s power, we can do what others deem impossible (Philippians 4:13).
c) It Turns Weakness into Strength
God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness, enabling us to achieve greatness (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
d) It Elevates Us Above the Ordinary
We rise above the ordinary into realms of extraordinary achievement when we are divinely enabled (Ephesians 3:20).
Biblical Example: David’s Mighty Men (2 Samuel 23:8-12), who accomplished extraordinary feats through God's enabling power.
2. DIVINE ENABLEMENT BRINGS ACCELERATED SUCCESS AND RECORD-BREAKING RESULTS
God’s empowerment causes things to happen faster than the natural course of events.
a) Divine Speed Accelerates Success
With divine enablement, success is not delayed; it comes swiftly (2 Kings 7:1-2).
b) God Grants Favour for Breakthrough
Favor from God makes all the difference in achieving record-breaking results (1 Corinthians 15:10).
c) Supernatural Wisdom Leads to Unprecedented Achievements
Divine wisdom enables us to make decisions that lead to groundbreaking accomplishments (James 1:5).
d) Divine Speed Propels Us Past Our Competitors
Just as Elijah outran Ahab’s chariot, divine enablement accelerates us past others (1 Kings 18:46).
Biblical Example: Elijah outrunning Ahab’s chariot (1 Kings 18:46) and Joseph’s rise to power in Egypt (Genesis 41:46).
3. BREAKING RECORDS BY DIVINE ENABLEMENT REQUIRES OBEDIENCE AND FAITH
To experience supernatural empowerment, we must align with God’s will and step out in faith.
a) Obedience Activates Divine Enablement
Our obedience to God’s instructions releases His enabling power to accomplish great things (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
b) Faith in God’s Ability Brings About Extraordinary Results
Faith opens the door to the miraculous, allowing us to exceed expectations and break records (Mark 11:22-24).
c) Stepping Out in Faith Unleashes Divine Power
Faith leads to action, and action in faith releases God’s power for record-breaking results (Matthew 14:28-29).
d) Trusting in God’s Plan Brings Supernatural Acceleration
When we trust God completely, He accelerates our progress and causes us to break records (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Biblical Example: The faith of Abraham, who against all odds, became the father of many nations (Romans 4:18-21).
4. DIVINE ENABLEMENT EMPOWERS YOU TO OVERCOME OBSTACLES AND BREAK THROUGH LIMITATIONS
When God empowers you, there is no obstacle that can stand in your way.
a) God Breaks Every Barrier in Your Path
God removes obstacles and makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 45:2).
b) Strength to Overcome All Opposition
With divine enablement, we have the strength to overcome opposition and reach our goals (Romans 8:37).
c) You Will Achieve More Than You Thought Possible
Divine enablement opens doors and allows you to accomplish more than what you originally dreamed (Ephesians 3:20).
d) God’s Power Makes You Unstoppable
No matter the opposition, divine enablement makes you unstoppable in fulfilling your purpose (Philippians 4:13).
Biblical Example: The walls of Jericho falling down at the sound of the Israelites' faith (Joshua 6:1-20).
5. GOD’S GLORY IS MANIFESTED THROUGH YOUR RECORD-BREAKING ACHIEVEMENTS
When you break records by divine enablement, God’s glory is revealed to the world.
a) Your Achievements Will Testify to God’s Power
Every record you break is a testimony of God’s work in your life (John 9:3).
b) Your Success Points Others to God’s Greatness
When you accomplish the impossible, others will see and glorify God (Matthew 5:16).
c) Divine Enablement Leads to Kingdom Impact
Our supernatural achievements give glory to God and further His Kingdom on earth (Acts 13:2-3).
d) Your Records Bring Honor to God
As you break records, you are reflecting the greatness and power of God to the world (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Biblical Example: Daniel’s promotion and influence in Babylon, leading others to worship God (Daniel 6:25-27).
CONCLUSION:
Divine enablement is the key to breaking records in every area of life. When God’s hand is upon you, you are empowered to achieve the unimaginable. You are not limited by your natural abilities, but rather, you are propelled by supernatural strength, wisdom, and favor. Whether in your career, ministry, or personal life, God is able to help you surpass every expectation and break every record that stands before you.
As you step out in faith and obedience, the divine enablement of God will empower you to achieve far beyond what you ever thought possible. God is calling you to take hold of it and break every record set before you, to His glory.
