OUTRUNNING HORSES: THE POWER OF DIVINE SPEED

INTRODUCTION:
In the natural world, speed is often determined by human or mechanical limitations. A horse, for example, is known for its speed and ability to cover vast distances in a short time. However, the Bible reveals that with divine intervention, natural limitations can be surpassed. In 1 Kings 18:46, we see Elijah, a prophet, outrun Ahab's horses—something that is physically impossible for any human to achieve. This miraculous feat is a clear demonstration of divine speed, which allows us to break through the natural constraints of time and space.
Divine speed is not just about fast movement, but it’s a supernatural empowerment that enables believers to accomplish more in less time, achieve results beyond their natural abilities, and experience rapid progress. When the hand of the Lord comes upon a person, they are capable of accomplishing what would otherwise take years, in a much shorter time. For many of us, there are areas in life where we feel delayed—be it in our careers, ministry, or personal endeavors. Divine speed enables us to experience acceleration in places where we have previously faced stagnation. It is God’s supernatural hand at work, propelling us toward our destiny at an unstoppable pace. Let us explore how divine speed can change the course of our lives and bring us into a season of unprecedented progress.
1. DIVINE SPEED IS ACTIVATED BY THE HAND OF THE LORD
Elijah outran Ahab’s chariot because the hand of God came upon him.

Through divine speed, God redeems and restores even what seems irreparable (Isaiah 58:12).

God can bring you to places of success you never imagined (Ephesians 3:20).

God can remove barriers that previously hindered your progress and bring you into a new level (Isaiah 45:2).

With divine speed, you will experience favor that takes you further, faster (Psalm 5:12).

The breakthroughs you experience now will set you up for greater success in the future (Romans 8:28).

5. GOD’S GLORY IS MANIFESTED THROUGH DIVINE SPEED
When divine speed is at work in our lives, God’s glory is revealed for all to see.

The faster you move, the more people will see God’s hand at work in your life (John 9:3).
b) God’s Glory is Displayed Through Your Acceleration
Your accelerated progress becomes a testimony to God’s glory and power (Matthew 5:16).

d) God's Speed Proclaims His Sovereignty
When you experience divine speed, it proves that God is in control of all things (Daniel 4:35).
