Summary: A message about the hope that there is for our future in Christ.

Stand with me and hold up your Bible and repeat after me.

This is my Bible.

I am what it says I am.

I can do what it says I can do.

I am going to learn how to be what it says I can be.

Today I will learn more of the word of God.

The indestructible, never ending, living word Of God.

I will never be the same.

I will never be the same.

In Jesus Name

Amen?

Before you sit down, say good morning to your brothers and sisters.

God’s Work in You is Not Finished!

Turn to Philippians 1:6 and say, Amen" when you are there.

"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."

A Work in Progress

Have you ever felt like you were stuck in life?

Like you’ve hit a wall, failed too many times, or just don’t see how God could still use you?

Maybe you started out strong in your faith, but life’s struggles, disappointments, and setbacks have left you questioning whether God is still at work in your life.

If that’s you today, I want to encourage you: God is not done with you yet! The work He started in you is still in progress, and He is faithful to bring it to completion.

The Unfinished Masterpiece

There’s a famous story about Michelangelo, the great sculptor. In one of his studios, there were unfinished statues—figures of people who seemed to be trapped in stone, waiting to be completed. Some were missing arms, others had only partial faces. They looked like they had potential, but they were left unfinished.

Many of us feel like those sculptures—we can see glimpses of what God is doing in us, but we feel incomplete, stuck in stone, wondering if God has abandoned the work. But God is not like an earthly artist who leaves projects undone—He finishes what He starts!

Philippians 1:6 is a promise: “He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Let’s look at three powerful truths from this verse.

1. God is the One Who Starts the Work

The work in your life didn’t begin with you—it began with God. Your salvation, your calling, your purpose—all of it started in His hands.

The Potter and the Clay

Jeremiah 18:6 says, “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in My hand.”

A potter carefully molds and shapes the clay. But sometimes, the clay resists, and the potter has to reshape it. God is still molding you. He is shaping you into something beautiful, even when you can’t see it yet.

Maybe you feel unworthy or too broken to be used by God.

Maybe you think your past disqualifies you.

But here’s the truth: If God started it, He will finish it!

2. God is Working Even When You Don’t See It

Sometimes we don’t see progress in our lives. We pray, we serve, we seek God, but we feel stuck. It’s in those moments that we must trust God is still at work behind the scenes.

The Chinese Bamboo Tree

The Chinese bamboo tree takes five years before it even sprouts from the ground. For five years, the farmer waters it, nurtures it, and cares for it, seeing nothing. But in the fifth year, it suddenly grows 90 feet in just six weeks!

The question is: Was it growing all those years? Yes! The roots were developing, the foundation was strengthening—it just wasn’t visible yet.

Just because you don’t see growth doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

Some of God’s greatest work in you is happening beneath the surface.

Your faithfulness in the unseen moments is preparing you for what’s ahead!

3. God Will Finish What He Started

Philippians 1:6 doesn’t say He might finish the work—it says He WILL finish it! God is a finisher!

Peter’s Restoration

Peter denied Jesus three times. Imagine how broken he must have felt. But Jesus didn’t leave Peter in his failure—He restored him (John 21:15-17). Peter went on to preach at Pentecost, and 3,000 people came to Christ in one day!

Maybe you’ve failed. Maybe you’ve fallen short.

But failure is not final with God! He is still writing your story.

If God could restore Peter, He can restore you!

Surrender to God’s Work

As we close, I want to ask you:

Do you feel like God has stopped working in your life?

Have you lost hope in the process?

Are you struggling to trust that God will finish what He started?

If so, I invite you to surrender today. Let go of doubt, fear, and disappointment. Trust the hands of the Master Builder.

Prayer for Renewal

"Lord, I thank You that You never give up on us. Even when we feel weak, lost, or unworthy, You are still working. Today, we surrender to You. We trust that You will complete what You started in us. Restore hope, renew strength, and fill every heart with confidence in Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Final Encouragement: Keep Going!

Don’t stop in the middle of the process. God’s masterpiece is still being formed in you. Walk in confidence today, knowing His work in you is not finished yet! The best is yet to come! 🎯🔥
