INTRODUCTION:

The Christian life is not meant to be lived by natural strength alone. We are called to walk in the supernatural, empowered by the Spirit of God to live above the limitations of this world. God designed believers to operate beyond the ordinary because His Spirit dwells within us.

From Genesis to Revelation, we see men and women who lived supernatural lives—empowered to do exploits, overcome challenges, and manifest God’s glory. This same power is available to us today. It’s not reserved for a select few; it is the inheritance of every believer who walks in obedience and intimacy with God.

Walking in the supernatural is not about showmanship, but about demonstrating the reality of God on earth. When you walk in God's power, the impossible becomes possible, and you become an agent of change in your generation.

1. UNDERSTANDING THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE

Before you can walk in it, you must understand what it means.

a) The Supernatural Life is Spirit-Empowered

(Acts 1:8) – “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...”

b) It is Living Beyond Human Limitations

(Philippians 4:13) – Through Christ, you can do all things.

c) It is Rooted in the Life of Christ Within You

(Galatians 2:20) – “Christ lives in me…”

d) It Requires a Renewed Mindset

(Romans 12:2) – Transformation begins with the renewal of the mind.

Biblical Example: Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, performed great wonders and miracles (Acts 6:8).

2. ACCESSING GOD’S POWER FOR DAILY LIVING

The power of God is not for Sundays only, but for everyday victory.

a) Power Comes Through the Holy Spirit

(Romans 8:11) – The same Spirit that raised Jesus dwells in you.

b) Intimacy with God Fuels Supernatural Power

(John 15:5) – Apart from Him, we can do nothing.

c) Prayer and Fasting Increase Sensitivity to the Spirit

(Mark 9:29) – Some breakthroughs only come by prayer and fasting.

d) Obedience Activates Divine Power

(Deuteronomy 28:1–2) – God’s blessings follow obedience.

Biblical Example: Daniel tapped into supernatural wisdom and deliverance through a lifestyle of consecration and prayer (Daniel 6:10–22).

3. SIGNS THAT FOLLOW THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE

There are clear evidences when a person walks in God's power.

a) Manifestation of Spiritual Gifts

(1 Corinthians 12:7–10) – The Spirit works through gifts.

b) Victory Over Sin and Satan

(1 John 4:4) – Greater is He that is in you.

c) Boldness in Witnessing and Ministry

(Acts 4:31) – They spoke the word with boldness.

d) Supernatural Favour and Open Doors

(Revelation 3:8) – God opens doors no man can shut.

Biblical Example: Paul’s life was marked by signs, wonders, and power encounters (Acts 19:11–12).

4. OBSTACLES TO WALKING IN THE SUPERNATURAL

Certain factors can hinder supernatural living.

a) Unbelief and Doubt

(Hebrews 11:6) – Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

b) Carnal Living and Sin

(Romans 8:6–7) – The carnal mind resists God.

c) Ignorance of Your Identity in Christ

(Hosea 4:6) – My people perish for lack of knowledge.

d) Fear and Intimidation

(2 Timothy 1:7) – God has not given us a spirit of fear.

Biblical Example: The Israelites missed God’s best due to unbelief and fear (Numbers 13:31–33).

5. MAINTAINING A SUPERNATURAL LIFESTYLE

It’s not enough to start; you must continue in God’s power.

a) Stay Filled with the Holy Spirit

(Ephesians 5:18) – Be continually filled with the Spirit.

b) Build Faith Through the Word

(Romans 10:17) – Faith comes by hearing God’s Word.

c) Maintain a Consistent Prayer Life

(Luke 18:1) – Men ought always to pray.

d) Stay Connected to Kingdom Fellowship

(Hebrews 10:25) – Don’t forsake assembling together.

Biblical Example: Elijah consistently walked in supernatural power because he maintained fellowship with God (1 Kings 17–19).

CONCLUSION:

The supernatural life is God’s standard for every believer. It is not mystical or unreachable—it is your inheritance in Christ. Through the Holy Spirit, you are empowered to live victoriously, walk in authority, and demonstrate God’s power in a world that desperately needs to see Him.

Let your life reflect heaven on earth. Arise and walk in God’s power. You were not saved to be weak—you were saved to reign and manifest His glory in every area of your life.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, baptise me afresh with Your power and fire.

2. Help me to walk daily in the consciousness of Your Spirit.

3. I reject every form of spiritual weakness and dryness.

4. Empower me to be a vessel of signs, wonders, and miracles.

5. Let my life reflect the supernatural glory of God always.
