INTRODUCTION:

The "day of His power" refers to moments when God moves mightily among His people—through revival, transformation, supernatural manifestations, and divine enablement. In such seasons, grace flows freely, the Spirit is poured out abundantly, and God's agenda accelerates with force. These days are marked by unusual willingness, boldness, and exploits among the people of God.

We live in a time where evil abounds, but God's promise is that grace and power will abound even more. To abound in the day of His power means to flourish, to walk in divine enablement, and to participate fully in the move of God. It is not a time to shrink back but a time to rise and shine for God's glory.

This message will unveil what it means to abound in the day of His power, how to position ourselves for it, and how to walk in the fullness of God’s strength for our generation.

1. GOD’S POWER BRINGS WILLINGNESS AMONG HIS PEOPLE

When God moves in power, His people respond with devotion and zeal.

a) The presence of God stirs passion.

Believers become eager to serve, give, and obey (Exodus 35:21).

b) Willingness is proof of spiritual alignment.

Those touched by God's power are not coerced but compelled (2 Corinthians 5:14).

c) Holiness accompanies willingness.

The beauties of holiness are birthed in revival seasons (Isaiah 35:8).

d) Power leads to total surrender.

People willingly offer themselves for kingdom service (Romans 12:1).

Biblical Example: In Acts 2, after the Holy Spirit descended, believers joyfully devoted themselves to prayer, teaching, and fellowship (Acts 2:42–47).

2. ABUNDANCE FLOWS WHERE GOD’S POWER IS PRESENT

Divine power leads to overflowing blessings and spiritual capacity.

a) Power breaks limitations.

God’s power releases people from bondage and hindrance (Isaiah 10:27).

b) Grace and sufficiency are multiplied.

God empowers His people to abound in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).

c) Divine enablement replaces human weakness.

Power is perfected in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

d) Overflow is a signature of God’s visitation.

In the day of His power, lack is swallowed by plenty (Joel 2:24–26).

Biblical Example: When Jesus fed the multitude, the power of God multiplied five loaves and two fish, resulting in overflow (John 6:11–13).

3. THE DAY OF HIS POWER IS A SEASON OF SUPERNATURAL MANIFESTATION

God showcases His might through signs, wonders, and spiritual gifts.

a) The Spirit is poured out without measure.

God releases prophetic grace and divine visions (Joel 2:28).

b) Unusual miracles become normal.

The impossible becomes possible (Mark 16:17–18).

c) The atmosphere shifts.

Heaven invades earth with divine interventions (Acts 5:12–16).

d) God's glory is revealed to the world.

The power of God draws the attention of nations (Isaiah 60:1–3).

Biblical Example: Peter's shadow healed the sick during a season of power in the early church (Acts 5:15–16).

4. BELIEVERS MUST BE POSITIONED TO ABOUND

God’s power benefits those who are ready and yielded.

a) Faith is the channel to access power.

Without faith, it is impossible to receive from God (Hebrews 11:6).

b) Prayer activates divine release.

Power flows where prayer ascends (James 5:16–18).

c) Holiness creates the right environment.

Purity attracts God’s presence (2 Timothy 2:21).

d) Unity among believers amplifies power.

One accord precedes the outpouring (Acts 1:14).

Biblical Example: On the day of Pentecost, the early church was in one place and in one accord, leading to the mighty outpouring (Acts 2:1–4).

5. ABIDING IN GOD’S POWER PRODUCES KINGDOM IMPACT

Those who abound in power become channels of transformation.

a) Power is given for purpose.

God empowers us to be witnesses (Acts 1:8).

b) Empowered believers influence their world.

They bring change in families, churches, and communities (Matthew 5:14–16).

c) Kingdom advancement requires power.

Without power, ministry becomes dry and ineffective (1 Corinthians 2:4–5).

d) Power builds spiritual stamina.

Those who wait on the Lord renew strength to keep advancing (Isaiah 40:31).

Biblical Example: Paul’s life was marked by signs, power, and fruitful ministry everywhere he went (Romans 15:18–19).

CONCLUSION:

The day of God’s power is not just a future event; it is a present reality for those who seek Him. We are in the days where God is pouring out His Spirit and empowering His people to do exploits. To abound means to be full, fruitful, and faithful in that power.

God is calling us to be willing vessels—ready to carry His fire, proclaim His truth, and walk in His strength. Now is the time to arise, abound, and align with the move of God.
