Good Morning,
Stand with me and repeat after me.
This is my Bible.
I am what it says I am.
I can do what it says I can do.
I am going to learn how to be what it says I can be.
Today I will learn more of the word of God.
The indestructible, never ending, living word Of God.
I will never be the same.
I will never be the same.
In Jesus Name
Amen?
Before you sit down, say good morning to your brothers and sisters.
The Power of Easter – Hope, Redemption, and New Life
The Greatest Story Ever Told
Easter is not just another holiday—it is the defining moment of our faith. It is the day when darkness was shattered by the light of Christ, when death lost its sting, and when eternal hope was made available to all.
The message of Easter is this: Jesus died, was buried, and rose again!
The empty tomb is the greatest symbol of victory the world has ever known. It is proof that sin has been defeated, death has lost its grip, and salvation is freely offered to all who believe.
But Easter is not just an event of the past—it is a reality that transforms lives today. And today, no matter where you are in your faith journey, Jesus is calling you into a deeper encounter with Him.
1. The Cross – The Price of Love
Before we celebrate the empty tomb, we must first kneel at the cross.
The cross was meant for criminals, for the worst of the worst.
And yet, the perfect, sinless Son of God willingly took our place.
Why? Because love held Him there—not nails, not soldiers, but love.
Isaiah 53:5 – “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”
There was a man named James who lived a reckless life. Drugs, crime, and pain defined his days. He believed he was too far gone for God’s love. But one Good Friday, he heard the message of the cross—that Jesus didn’t just die for "good" people, but for broken people like him.
That night, James surrendered his life to Jesus, and his chains of addiction were broken. He found freedom, not in willpower, but in the power of the blood of Jesus.
No matter what you’ve done, the cross declares: “You are not beyond God’s love.”
2. The Empty Tomb – The Victory of Christ
If Jesus had only died, He would have been just another martyr. But on the third day, the grave could not hold Him!
The resurrection proves that sin is defeated, death has lost its sting, and Jesus is alive today!
1 Corinthians 15:55-57 – “O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? … But thanks be to God!
He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
A woman named Sarah was diagnosed with terminal cancer. At first, fear overwhelmed her. But as she read about the resurrection of Jesus, she realized—if Christ conquered death, then even death is not the end.
Sarah chose to live every day in the power of the resurrection, sharing Jesus with others. Though she passed from this life, her faith brought many to Christ. Today, her story continues, because the resurrection means our story does not end in the grave!
Because He lives, we can face tomorrow! A great Hymn was written on this.
Because He lives, I can face tomorrow.
Because He lives, All fear is gone.
Because I know, He holds the future.
and life is worth the living because He lives.
3. New Life in Christ – The Gift of Easter
Easter is not just about what Jesus did 2,000 years ago—it is about what He is doing right now.
Because He rose, we can rise. Because He lives, we can be made new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
Mark was a man enslaved to shame. He carried regrets that weighed him down. He thought, "God could never forgive someone like me."
One Easter Sunday, he heard the message of new life in Christ. With tears in his eyes, he prayed, "Lord, if You can bring Jesus back from the dead, then You can bring me back too."
That day, his past was erased, and he walked in newness of life. Today, Mark is a pastor, preaching the same hope he once thought was impossible.
Easter is an invitation: No matter how far you have fallen, Jesus can make you new.
Altar Call – A Call to Surrender
Today, Jesus is standing at the door of your heart.
Maybe you've known about Him, but never truly known Him.
Maybe you've strayed away and feel unworthy to return.
The good news? The same Jesus who walked out of the tomb is here today, calling your name.
Will You Respond?
If you feel a stirring in your heart, that is the Holy Spirit drawing you. Do not ignore His voice.
Pray this prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I ask for Your forgiveness and invite You into my heart. Be my Savior and my Lord. I surrender my life to You. Thank You for loving me and giving me new life. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
If you prayed this prayer, let someone know! Join a church, grow in your faith, and never walk this journey alone.

Easter is not just a holiday—it is a call to live in resurrection power!
