JESUS SEES

INTRODUCTION:
One of the greatest assurances in life is knowing that we are not invisible to God. People may overlook or ignore us, but Jesus sees us in every situation. He sees our struggles, our pain, our faithfulness, and even the things we hide from others.
The Bible reveals that God's eyes are always upon His people. He is not a distant observer but an active participant in our lives. He sees our tears, hears our cries, and knows the desires of our hearts. The same Jesus who saw Zacchaeus in the tree, the woman at the well, and Nathaniel under the fig tree sees you today.
In this sermon, we will explore five key areas in which Jesus sees us: in our afflictions, in our faithfulness, in our needs, in our sins, and in our future.
1. JESUS SEES YOUR AFFLICTIONS
When you go through trials and challenges, Jesus sees and cares.
a) He saw the affliction of Hagar (Genesis 16:13)
Hagar, alone and abandoned in the wilderness, called God El Roi—"The God who sees me."
b) He saw the suffering of the Israelites in Egypt (Exodus 3:7)
God told Moses, "I have surely seen the affliction of My people."
c) He saw the tears of Hannah (1 Samuel 1:10-11)
Hannah wept in the temple, and God saw her pain, answering her prayer.
d) He sees every tear you shed (Psalm 56:8)
God records our tears and understands our deepest sorrow.
e) Biblical Example: Jesus and the Widow of Nain (Luke 7:11-15)
Jesus saw the grieving widow and raised her son from the dead.
2. JESUS SEES YOUR FAITHFULNESS
When you serve and remain steadfast, even when no one recognises, Jesus sees you.
a) He sees your secret acts of righteousness (Matthew 6:4)
Whatever is done in secret, God will reward openly.
b) He sees those who remain faithful in trials (Revelation 2:10)
The crown of life is for those who remain faithful to the end.
c) He sees your labour for His kingdom (Hebrews 6:10)
God is not unjust to forget your work and love for Him.
d) He sees the purity of your heart (1 Samuel 16:7)
Man looks at the outward appearance, but God sees the heart.
e) Biblical Example: Jesus and the Poor Widow’s Offering (Mark 12:41-44)
Others gave out of their wealth, but Jesus saw her sacrificial giving.
3. JESUS SEES YOUR NEEDS
Before you even ask, Jesus sees what you need.
a) He knows your needs before you ask (Matthew 6:8)
God is aware of your needs even before you pray.
b) He provides for those who trust in Him (Psalm 34:10)
Those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.
c) He cares for the smallest details of your life (Matthew 10:29-31)
If God sees every sparrow, how much more does He care for you?
d) He rewards those who seek Him in faith (Hebrews 11:6)
Those who diligently seek Him will receive His provision.
e) Biblical Example: Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand (John 6:5-13)
He saw their hunger and miraculously provided food.
4. JESUS SEES YOUR SINS
Nothing is hidden from Jesus; He sees both the good and the bad.
a) He sees all things clearly (Hebrews 4:13)
Nothing in creation is hidden from His sight.
b) He saw the sin of Achan (Joshua 7:1-26)
Though Achan hid his sin, God saw and exposed it.
c) He calls sinners to repentance (Luke 5:31-32)
He came to call sinners, not the righteous.
d) He forgives those who confess (1 John 1:9)
If we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive.
e) Biblical Example: Jesus and the Woman Caught in Adultery (John 8:1-11)
He saw her sin but also offered mercy and redemption.
5. JESUS SEES YOUR FUTURE
You may not know what lies ahead, but Jesus sees it clearly.
a) He knows the plans He has for you (Jeremiah 29:11)
His plans are for your good and not for evil.
b) He sees your destiny before you do (Psalm 139:16)
Every day of your life was written in His book.
c) He prepares a place for you (John 14:2-3)
Jesus is preparing an eternal home for His people.
d) He sees the battles ahead and fights for you (Exodus 14:13-14)
Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
e) Biblical Example: Jesus and Peter’s Future (Luke 22:31-34)
Jesus saw Peter’s denial but also his future restoration.
CONCLUSION:
No matter where you are or what you are going through, remember that Jesus sees you. He sees your afflictions and will comfort you. He sees your faithfulness and will reward you. He sees your needs and will provide. He sees your sins and calls you to repentance. Most importantly, He sees your future and holds it in His hands.
Today, rest in the assurance that you are never forgotten. You are seen, known, and loved by Jesus.

1. Lord, thank You for always seeing and watching over me.
2. Father, help me to trust in Your perfect plan for my life.
3. Jesus, provide for all my needs according to Your riches in glory.
4. Lord, let my labour in Your kingdom never be in vain.
5. Father, help me to walk in righteousness before You.
