INTRODUCTION
No one fulfils destiny alone. God has designed life in such a way that we need the help of others to accomplish His purpose for our lives. Even Jesus needed John the Baptist to prepare the way for His ministry (Matthew 3:1-3). The Bible is filled with examples of people whose destinies were accelerated, fulfilled, or restored through the intervention of destiny helpers.
A destiny helper is someone strategically positioned by God to assist, support, or guide you towards fulfilling God's plan for your life. They may not necessarily be wealthy or influential, but they carry a divine assignment to help you move forward. Recognising and discerning these helpers is crucial for fulfilling your destiny.
In this study, we will explore the different types of destiny helpers in the Bible and their roles in fulfilling God’s purpose in our lives.
1. DIVINE CONNECTORS
Divine connectors are people who may not have the resources you need but have the relationships and information to link you to the right people.
a) They Introduce You to the Right People
These individuals may not have direct influence, but they know someone who does (2 Kings 5:2-4).
b) They Have Insight into Your Next Level
They may not look important, but their role is critical to your destiny (1 Samuel 9:6-8).
c) They Appear in Unexpected Ways
Divine connectors may come in the form of servants, strangers, or ordinary people (John 1:40-42).
d) They Position You for Greatness
Their role is to point you in the right direction (John 4:28-30).
e) Biblical Example: The Slave Girl in Naaman’s House
She connected Naaman to Elisha, leading to his healing (2 Kings 5:2-4).
2. DESTINY HELPERS THROUGH SERVICE (BURDEN BEARERS)
Burden bearers are people God places in your life to help you carry your load and support you in difficult seasons.
a) They Stand with You in Tough Times
They do not run away when challenges come (Exodus 17:12).
b) They Strengthen and Encourage You
Their presence gives you the courage to move forward (1 Samuel 23:16-17).
c) They Carry the Weight of Your Vision
They help you fulfil what God has called you to do (Nehemiah 4:16-17).
d) They Are Loyal and Committed
They do not betray or abandon you in critical moments (2 Samuel 15:19-21).
e) Biblical Example: Aaron and Hur
They lifted Moses’ hands during battle, leading to victory (Exodus 17:8-13).
3. GIFTED MEN (SKILLFUL HELPERS)
These are people endowed with skills, wisdom, and expertise that help build your vision and destiny.
a) They Have Unique Abilities to Assist You
God places them in your life to bring their expertise (Exodus 31:1-6).
b) They Multiply Your Efforts
They enhance what you are doing and make things better (Nehemiah 3:1-32).

Without them, the work may take longer or remain incomplete (2 Kings 12:11-14).
d) They Use Their Gifts for God’s Glory
Their skills contribute to God’s work in your life (Exodus 35:30-35).
e) Biblical Example: Bezaleel and Aholiab
They were craftsmen anointed by God to build the tabernacle (Exodus 31:1-6).
4. FINANCIAL HELPERS (KINGDOM SPONSORS)
These are people God raises to provide financial and material support for your journey.
a) They Are Called to Support the Vision
They provide resources needed to advance God's work (Luke 8:2-3).

God puts them in places of influence to assist you (Esther 2:17).

They have a heart for kingdom advancement (Philippians 4:15-18).

Some help from a distance, yet they play a vital role (1 Kings 17:8-16).
e) Biblical Example: The Widow of Zarephath
She provided for Elijah, and God blessed her abundantly (1 Kings 17:8-16).
5. DESTINY LIFTERS (MENTORS AND FAVOUR GIVERS)
Destiny lifters are people who use their influence to open doors and promote you to a higher level.
a) They Use Their Influence to Elevate You
They put in a good word for you in places that matter (Genesis 41:9-14).

CONCLUSION
God sends destiny helpers at different stages of our lives. They come in various forms—some as mentors, some as supporters, and others as connectors. Recognising and honouring them is crucial to fulfilling our destiny.
However, destiny helpers do not always come in expected ways. Some may appear as ordinary people, while others may test our humility and obedience. Praying for discernment and being faithful in our assignments will position us to receive the help God has prepared for us.
As you walk in obedience, may the Lord send you the right people to lift, connect, and support you until you fulfil your divine destiny.
