From G1468; self control (especially continence): - temperance. Strong's Concordance

If you go into a church or other place and see people out of control these people are not being filled with the Spirit for the fruit of the Spirit is self-control.

1 Corinthians 14:29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

30 If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

32 And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Indeed, even the prophets can only be two or three at most and when another stands up the first is to be quiet and if a fourth one pops up he is out of line. He cannot say he could not help himself because verse 32 says he can.

Earlier in the chapter Paul says that if everyone is speaking in tongues so that a visitor may think you are crazy you are out of line for there has to be an interpreter and even if five things are being interpreted at the same time it will be unfruitful as it should be one at a time so the interpretation can be heard by all. Otherwise is confusion.

God is not the author of confusion and if a meeting is confusing or chaotic instead of being decent and in order it is not empowered by the Spirit. It is the fleshly emotions of man at best and of a different spirit at worst. Maranatha!!!
