When God promises that he will restore double to you, he means he will restore what you have lost with (or plus) interest. This means that if you have lost ten lakhs in the last ten years, he will restore you ten lakhs(principal amount) with interest. The interest rate is higher than 100%. Bank interest rates range from 6-7%, however God's interest rate is 100%, which no bank can offer you. If you have lost ten years of health, he will restore you ten years of health plus interest of few additional years. Bank interest is simple interest, whereas God's interest is compound interest.
If you have lost many years, the interest amount or things will be higher. If you are waiting for a long time, the interest will be more and more. God does not owe anything from anyone, but since he is a compassionate God, he is willing to restore it. God restores on time and what he restores easily exceeds our expectations. It will be abundant and greater than we can imagine. God is a faithful restorer. If you've been waiting a long time, don't worry; God is changing the seasons to restore you with interest(more than doublefold). God is always a faithful restorer. All that the locusts have eaten is not wasted; God is about to restore it, along with interest which is more than double fold.
Start believing God because He is a faithful restorer. God has allowed things to happen, such as locusts to eat, and He is going to restore it. It has nothing to do with you. If you think it is because of your mistakes, ask God to forgive and restore you. If you repent, God will surely restore you double fold. You may have lost a lot, don’t worry; God's hand is big enough to restore what you've lost double fold again. Start believing God.
