Are you tired of swiping through dating apps, attending singles' events, and wondering when you'll meet "the one"? As a child of God, you can rest assured that your Heavenly Father has a beautiful plan for your life, including your future spouse.
In this sermon, we'll explore the biblical promise that God will send you your spouse, and how you can trust in His divine matchmaking.
The Promise of Divine Matchmaking
In Genesis 2:18, God says, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." This verse sets the stage for God's desire to provide a companion for His children. Throughout the Bible, we see examples of God bringing couples together, such as Isaac and Rebekah (Genesis 24), and Aquila and Priscilla (Acts 18).
Trusting God's Timing
One of the hardest parts of waiting for God to send your spouse is trusting in His timing. It's easy to get impatient, especially when it seems like everyone around you is getting married and starting families.
However, God's timing is perfect, and His delays are not denials. In Psalm 27:14, David writes, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Waiting on God requires faith, patience, and trust.

Trust God's sovereignty: Remember that God is sovereign, and that He has a plan to prosper you and not to harm you (Jeremiah 29:11).
Waiting for God to send your spouse requires faith, trust, and patience. However, the reward is well worth the wait. When you trust in God's divine matchmaking, you can rest assured that He will bring someone special into your life at just the right time.
